National Treasure

Went out with my section mates today...unfortunately...only half section level turned up haha. We went for lunch at kushinbo and had our fill. I've been having good food ever since i POPed..i think i'm spoilt..feel damn broke too.

After lunch we went to watch National Treasure. Great show..full of actionm thrills and mystery solving. Its pretty much like The Rock if you people remember that show. Nicholas Cage is the star this time too...and his gf is hot haha.

Has been feeling sick the past few days..dunno whats wrong with me. Got some rashes on my legs too..think i'm staying at home tomorrow.

Just found out that the 20 years old Linda Wee that died recently in a bike accident is also a member of the singapore bike forum. Its sad to read her old posts knowing that she's already gone...sob...

Call me Private Nicholas!

Pop loh! Finally i've graduated, having my block leave now. While everyone else are eagerly waiting for their posting, i'm someone that already know where i'm going. For those of you who don't know, i've sign on with the army as a signal specialist. Being a specialist is of course not my first choice, i had applied to be a regular officer but they offered me this specialist contract instead. Good thing about signing on as a specialist is that i get to enjoy a huge lump sum and can sign on for a longer term. An officer will be offered a 3 years contract and their performance will be assessed after it ends. So there's a no guarantee that army will still want u after 3 years. For specialist, i'm being offered a 10 years contract with a 4 years bond. That means that after 6 years from now i can leave the army without having to pay back any money.

Signing on as a specialist means that i'll be going to sispec school at Pulau Tekong again. While there i'll aim to cross over to OCS and hopefully get the officer contract coz there's what i really want to be. Being an officer also means i can apply for the Local Study Award (LSA) where SAF pays for my degree. That's my plan initially..now i have to work doubly hard to cross over.

Let's talk about my POP day now. Everyone can only bring 2 family members but guess how many i brought? 6! Haha. Didn't take part in the first march in because i was on status the week before and didn't join in the rehearsals. But i got to throw my cap and dance around of course. On the last day, my platoon mates took my sergeant for a powder + water bath..he looked so dirty, wet, helpless and white after that haha. Here are some photos!

Why am i at home?

That's because i got 1 day MC! Well, my fever got so bad yesterday my world started spinning..i couldn't think straight i thought i was going to die. Initially i wanted to tolerate and see if i get better in camp, but at 1700 i decided i wanted to get an MC. I called my sergeant and he told me i had to get my MC before my MC which was 1840 or else i can be charged for AWOL. WTH...immediately i called mummy and fortunately she was at Ang Mo Kio central and that time. And luckily we found a clinic that is opened. You won't believe how much this doctor's visit cost my mum...a whooping $55...WTH WTF...apparently its because of the antibiotics they prescribed that is supposingly quite costly. Anyway there's only 5 pills inside.

Ok enough of complaining..i'm glad i can rest at home sweet home. Booking in at 1930 today. Was platoon ic last week and got pumped and scolded a few times haha. I think there'll be a change of ic today so when i book in i'm relieved of responsibilities phew. With the blink of an eye, my life as a chao recruit is coming to an end. Not sure if i'll miss life here until i experience army elsewhere in the coming months.

Oh at the clinic yesterday, i passed all my belongings to my mum because i wanted to go to the toilet. When i came back she asked why i had so many keys and asked if one of them is a motorcycle's key. Opps..immediately of course i said no lah and told her some of them belongs to sam haha. Luckily she didn't probe further. Expectedly i think she already knows it more or less. My room is full of bike posters and magazines and my computer's wallpaper is Yamaha R1.

Anyway i caught The Shutter with puss on Sat. Go watch it if you need some shocks to wake up in life. The thais did a good job..its certainly scary..watch it..oh the lead actress is quite hot too.

2 more weeks to POP! PO PO PO P!

I'm exactly 14 days away from passing out from bmt, fast isn't it? The past week passed reasonably quickly. Was outfield again for 3 days 2 nights for my situational test. Was a law gunner and that meant that i had to carry the 6.3kg law tube plus my m16 rifle everywhere i went. And if you understand what i mean, you can imagine how fucking tiring it is to leopard crawl and arti run with that shitty tube haha. Anyway all is over now and the few events left are namely live grenade throw and 16km/24km route march.

Had my 5 days long holiday last week, it passed in whizz. Attended my cousin's wedding that sunday. It was the first time i witnessed the cantonese practice of marriage, with the bargaining of hongbao on entering the bride's house blah blah. You won't believe what happened that day. After fetching the bride, they had to travel to the bridegroom's house. A few cousins of mine and i tagged along. 4 cars left and i was in my sister's bf's car. At the exit of SLE going to Yishun, one of the cars driven by the bridegroom's car skidded and it smashed against the wall along the side of the road. On seeing the accident, my sister's bf panicked and jam brake. The car skidded too and smashed into the walls too. Thank God nobody was injured although the cars were in quite a bad state.

There's so many things i want to do, eat and see on booking out but i don't know where to start and i don't have the money to start haha. SAF isn't paying me enough! Slept my precious afternoon away, going to make full use of my evening and night. Going out soon! Meanwhile take care all!

My Long Weekend

Booked out on wednesday's evening and will be booking in only on monday evening, how great is that?! Will be going back to the jungle on tuesday for my situational test though. But fortunately its only 3 days 2 nights now. Will be back to eating shitty ration and powder bathing, hope it won't be so demoralising this time.

Went Mambo night with my poly classmates on wednesday night. It was expectedly packed but somehow we all managed to squeeze in quite quickly haha. Danced for awhile but felt really sleepy after 3am. Stayed over at Sam's house that night and slept till around 1pm. Remained at her place for nearly the whole day playing mahjong and won some money haha.

Went out with wayniest yesterday. We went to the motorshow and it cost us $10. There weren't mercedes, bmw, jaguar nor volkswagon. Not worth the $10 at all so if you read this try not to go, even going to the zoo will be a better choice. After that we met us with puss, sam and her brother for a movie. Watched the incredibles. Just like the other graphic movies, its funny, imaginative and ok to watch.

You can never imagine how much an NSman will spend on one weekend out. For the past few days outside, i think i've spent more than $200 already. I'm already feeling so broke after paying for the damn bike insurance that cost me $700...someone help me........

Will be eating dinner at merchant court's hotel tonight to celebrate my mummy's birthday. Then after that i'll be going to sentosa to attend mingli's birthday celebration. What do u think? Every book out day is precious! Haha

Miss me?!

Wow how long has it been? I wonder how many of you all actually do drop by Xiaoville nowadays. You might think i'm exaggerating but this one month plus seems such a long time to me. I've been through shit, mud, torture, humiliation etc etc you name it haha.

I'm in BMTC school 1 Charlie company Platoon 1 Section 2 haha. Charlie is the slackest enhanced company in school 1 this time. While other companies are doing their 5BX (excercise), our company will be just preparing to wake up. We have reasonable amount of admin time but when the sergeants want to tekang us, its hell.

So far i've done route marches, basic close combat training(bcct), circuit training, weights training, ET run, IPPT, range and FIELD CAMP! The 7 days of field camp were the worse days of my life. I didn't bathe nor brush my teeth for the whole one week. Everyday we have to sleep on mud and feed the mosquitos. Ok we powder bath everyday, and that means stripping to only our underwear and cover every part of our body with powder. I hate powder bathing because that's when mosquitos start biting me again and i have to take off my shoes and step on the shitty mud. Throughout the 1 week, i had my boots on all the time except when powder bathing. Can you imagine the discomfort, the socks mark on my calf is still around man. Field camp also means that you shit/pee in the jungle and eat combat ration. And trust me, the braised chicken rice with mushroom tasted like vomit, combat ration is army men's fear factor.

It rained everyday during my field camp. Throughout, we had to put on camo, carry our SBO, wear our helmet and hold on to our rifle. They are a bunch of nuisance, everything is dirtied by mud and stinked. One of the things i hate most is doing route march. Route march means we carry our fucking heavy field pack, sbo, rifle, wear our helmet and march. I think everything weighs almost 25kg, that's almost half my body weight god dammit. And everytime we shift from one camp site to the next, we route march around 3-6km. I don't think i can put down what i've been through this one month in one post. I'll do it when i have more time next time.

Saying

Met up with my church friend Eunice for lunch at Raffles places yesterday because she works there. Haven seen her for more than a year now. It has really been a long time. After that i met Reloo for a movie, the new police story. And you know what..i just watched the show the day before with wayniest. Luckily i didn't have to pay to watch the 2nd time because Reloo's gf's dad works for GV. But still i had to watch the same show twice in 2 days. The show is ok with lots of actions. Catch it.

Met up with horse, bear and ah teck for a drink at millenia walk last night. Chatted and drank till around 2am before we left. Already met up with many of my friends before enlisting. I dunno why but how come everybody feels like i'll be gone forever? Haha.

I'll be back soon...maybe next week because i heard that confinement week is taken away isn't that just great?

"Last" weekend

Will be enlisting this coming wednesday, finally the day is drawing near. Had been waiting for like 5 months? Will obviously be hoping that i'll enjoy life there. Will be meeting friends for a meal or 2 a few days before i go botak.

Spent a few hours there sleeping haha. I was then woken up by a phonecall...guess by who? My ex-driving instructor. I wonder what he's up to calling up and asking how i am...probably keeping up customer relations? Anyway i didn't really like him while learning...and i had to fail twice before passing the third time under him. All these years i've never introduced any of my friends to him and don't intend to...they'll be better off learning somewhere else haha.

Met up with a few of my poly classmates yesterday at east coast chalet for some small gathering and also sham's birthday. Was there for only awhile because sam had to go home early to rest for her flight this morning. Her flight came when she's on standby mode and unfortunately she had to be called up. This flight to London will be 5 days long and that also means she won't be joining me in tekong :( . But well i'll see her when i book out on weekends.

Oh i watched dodgeball the other day. Quite an ok show with many laughable scenes and moments. Will be meeting wayniest later for another movie..probably police story. Will want to catch white chicks before wednesday too haha...i'm going to be so so broke.

Back!

Haven been updating my blog for the longest time. Anyway for the past days that i haven been posting i watched Harold and Kumar, found out my carrot head got chop again, completed my last day of work and the highlight i went to KL and Genting for 3 days!

Went there with my ex-classmates Henry and Darien by train. The train ride there was terrible because it was long, frustrating and tiring. Half the time the train was travelling less than 50km/h and Darien had to object getting the higher class tickets where we will each have a bed to sleep on. In the end we ended up in economy class and although the seats are like any other coaches, the journey was 3 times as long! By the time we FINALLY reached KL, it was around 8+am and when we saw Macdonalds at the station, we rushed in and had our fill.

We then took a cab to our hotel. It was a budget hotel, only 88RM a night...very affordable for the 3 of us who are all feeling poor. After slacking for awhile and walking around, we then went to genting in the afternoon. The cable car ride up the highlands was breathtaking. We were above the clouds half the time and the weather there was good. We had fun at their themepark but not their casino. We managed to sneak in although 2 of them were underage using the excuse of "never bring passport". They checked mine and ok we're in. Turned out to be not a good thing. We each came out 50RM to play (min stake per game is 25RM by the way). We decided to play blackjack but weren't too sure of the rules. We embarrassed ourselves many times. There was once this guy had 2 ACES and he split, thinking we could place bet on him too we put our chip on the table and got the "OEII" from him. We also got some nagging from people because we played alternate games thus spoiling their luck? Whatever the case, as expected we lost everything within half an hour and duly walked out disappointed. Had dinner at Kenny Rogers back at KL, which was reasonably cheap and went back to our hotel after that.

Day 2 was an all KL day. We went to Times Square and there's a nice themepark in there. The roller coaster in there looks so damn tempting but apparently i was the only one of the three tempted so we didn't go in the end. Shopping there was boring as there's nothing much to buy. After that we took the Monorail and then LRT to central market and chinatown where they bought most of the stuff. I came back empty handed because i was on a very tight budget haha. In a pet shop at KL, we saw a very cute dog. His name is Fook Fook and he cost 3500RM...i wished i had the money to buy him haha. He looks like a small fat teddy bear on 4 legs haha, we took a photo of him..will post it up when Henry send it to me.

Day 3 was reserved for Sunway Lagoon. Sunway Lagoon is a nice place and it is reasonably big. But they didn't have many rides and within 2 hours we got bored. We took certain rides all over again and had a swim till 5.30pm. We then went to the Sunway shopping centre for our last shopping trip before going home. Sunway shopping centre is really big too and there are many more things to buy there than City Square. Train ride home was really comfortable because we got ourselves a bed. I slept throughout and here i am energetic and ready to go out again!

3 Extreme

Slept till around 1.30pm yesterday and went for my motorbike lesson. Its lesson 3 for me already which is the last lesson for class 2A. Lesson 3 is evaluation and they failed me...24 points...points for wobbling..not checking blind spot..wrong technique..forgetting to cancel signal...wth man. Next lesson will be this coming saturday..they better not fail me. Oh and i forgot to mention...i missed the test date of 28th Sept! I was too slow for that...it could have been a dream test date..passing just before i enter NS on the 29th...haii...the next test date will be 2nd Nov...hope i can take leave during bmt and make it.

After the lesson i went to play soccer with my church friends at Bishan Park. I finally got myself a new pair of soccer boots. Cost me $80...the cheapest Nike i can find in sportslink that looked pleasing enough for my eyes haha. I scored a hat-trick that day so i'm quite pleased haha.

Went home to rest before meeting Sam for a movie. We caught 3 Extreme. Didn't know it was R-21 till someone mentioned..i think it was henry or valencia. After watching it, i have to agree with the R-21 restriction. There were many many many bloody scenes and a few scenes of groaning, breasts, caressing etc.

There were 3 short stories in the movie. The first one Japanese followed by the Hong Kong one and then the Korean. The japanese one was about a girl who accidentally got her twin sister killed because of an act of jealousy. The show hardly made sense and i'm sure many of you will fall asleep here.

The Hong Kong one is about dumplings. Dumplings made from baby foetus. They believed that it can keep one young, pretty and attractive always. Mariam (above) is a former actress who is slowly losing her husband's love. She seek the help of the woman who makes the dumping. The woman got the foetus of a girl who was raped by her own father. Its hard to comprehend what happened at the end but the girl died after the abortion and the mum killed the father. And in the end Mariam used a stick to poke her vagina in the bathtub to kill her own baby when she was pregnant. Don't understand? Nvm.

The Korea one is argubly the best of the lot. An innovative storyline and also a very bloody one at that. No ghost no spirits no devil just a pyscho killer. Too bad you guys can't pay 1/3 of the price just to watch the korean one and will have to tahan the first 2 especially the Jap one just to get to here..definitely not worth. Don't catch it unless you're bored lah.

Got a real headache in the office today for quite some period...i wonder if it has anything to do with that carpark barrier or lack of sleep...hmmm

Shitty weekend? 50-50 lah

It was Sam's birthday yesterday. She stayed over at my place and left around afternoon wanting to go meet up with a guy that's renting me his Renault Scenic for the day. I've rent a car from him before and when he didn't turn up after us waiting there for half an hour, i was puzzled yet pissed. And one car park up down barrier shit had to make the day worse. When i was walking past it, i was messaging someone on my phone...then all of a suddenly "PANG"..that shitty thing hit my head. Sam was walking in front of me and i was just following her footsteps. I had to be so unlucky to be at that place at that time...it was quite painful. That shitty thing went up after hitting my head and went down again.

We then left for Balestier wanting to go for lunch. On the way there my phone rang, the car rental guy's brother called. That guy has supposingly been admitted to hospital that morning and that's why he didn't reply my messages, answer my calls or turn up.

We then went to Balestier's Loy Kee chicken rice store for lunch. That place is shitty. The chicken for 2 people was pathetic and more than half of it was bones. I then dropped her with her parents to go meet wayniest to buy her birthday gift. We then met up with puss at Sim Lim and we walked around for quite some time for a bargain and finally found one. I hope didn't get cheated lah. The camera is real slim and really handy. Its smaller than any of our wallets, i wanted to keep it for myself wahaha.

A pic of the camera i bought. Casio Exilim S-20.

We then continued walking this time from bugis village then to suntec then back to sim lim again for my bike. Can you imagine the tiredness on our legs after that. We then went to Sam's auntie's house for her birthday, it was nice seeing everyone again. My gf had a nice birthday with no sabos or anything..just nice ang paos and presents haha.

After the birthday celebration we all went for a movie at Lido. The late night movies at Cine are all almost full house, but the ones at Lido are nearly empty. Anyway we caught The Terminal.

The show is alright, only that many of the scenes were exaggerated. But there were sure many hilarious scenes. And i didn't know the film was by Steven Spielberg...cool cool worth watching. Try not to miss it. Cheers you up.

AVP

Was so bored at home the whole afternoon yesterday. Was supposed to go clubbing at Shanghai Sally and i jio my marist friends...but one by one they are all getting busy. In the end only 1 or 2 were keen so i didn't go too.

I then managed to find cheap bird weijian to go out with me. Met him in town and we walked around. Walked from Pacific plaza to Cuppage plaza just to decide on a place for dinner haha. Finally settled for a small thai food koisk at Orchard Point...cost me $7.60 for a bowl of tom yam soup and a plate of rice...dammit..my carrot head got chop again. After dinner we met Puss at PS and cheap bird left shortly after because he was supposed to meet his friend for cycling. But after he left his friend messaged and said he couldn't make it hahaha...wassup with putting ppl's aeroplane nowadays..is it a new trend?

I then went to Great world city with puss to watch Alien vs Predator. Well...not a bad show...at least there's action. Predator is supposed to be God and is worshipped by humans in the past. Earth is like a pulau tekong to them...they used human to breed aliens so that their predator warriors could be trained to kill and to maintain their superiority. The show ended in such a way that a part 2 will certainly be filmed.

After the movie we went the the roadside hawker opposite centrepoint for supper. We soon left for home. The end.

Meh Meh

Meh Meh revealed his true colours today...i never thought what's behind that innocent chubby face is this.

Nick: "So what is your type of girl?"
Meh Meh: "Well...she must be open...willing to open..haha"

Nick: "Haha a 45 years old woman got whacked up by a 22 years old guy at the linkin park concert because she asked him to stop smoking."
Meh Meh: "Haha you can't ask somebody to stop smoking like that. Smoking is like sex...it both involves putting a stick into a hole."

HO! What the?! That's meh meh for you! I thought i was bad wahahaha..this is quite funny.

Anyone watched the school belle and hunk show on channel 8 just now? Stupid show with low standards! The girl winner sucks! So ugly! The other girl looks reasonably cute though. They tried to make the show looks as if they sprang a surprise on them but come on! We're not stupid! So damn obvious they planned everything beforehand... and badly too! The way they chose the winner really cannot make it...

Our Decisive force!

OMG did anyone watch the army show on channel 8 just now? Army looks so damn fun! I think its gonna be a really fun and exciting adventure. Tekong looks nice and the army school looks like a country club! I think its going to be like Outward Bound School...can't wait can't wait!

WTF..Cat idol?

Its irritating living beside a primary school...especially a dodgy one. Was awaken early this morning at around 7+am by singings...awful singing. I can't remember what was the first song i heard in my dreamy mode...but shortly after..some boys were singings the national day song Home by Kit Chan. I mean what the...national day is like 3 weeks ago..what is Catholic High up to i asked myself.

I looked out the window and saw a stage with small boys performing. On the stage clearly states....CAT IDOL. WTF idol fever again. And what a song to choose for a singing competition...Home?

Haha anyway i watched on for awhile and witnessed many lousy smallboyband wannabes performances. Can't they let me have a nice good sleep. But you have to be impressed by their thick skins and guts. When i was their age i had stage fright...maybe even now too..but better abit. Moreover, they are embarrassing themselves in front of their friends, schoolmates and teachers. These embarrassing moments stay in our mind forever. Remember Singapore my home and kungfu fighting follow marists? LOL

Had dinner with Sam yesterday before going on to watch Bourne Supremacy yesterday. Was at the booth at 8.35pm but i bought the 9.30pm show haha...because i didn't see that there's an earlier show at 9pm. Anyway it's a very confusing show and if you don't concentrate you can get really lost. I wanna watch Alien vs Predator...who's game?

Monday!

Anyone read newpaper today? There's a new kind of danger for motorcyclists on the roads. Kites! A motorcyclist was actually cut by a kite string while travelling down ECP. The papers had a pic of a long cut across his chin. And there was a small report on motorcyclists being killed in Pakistan and Malaysia by kite strings. Hard to believe but real. Many of them were cut deep at the throat and killed...gross but real. Looks like full face helmets need to be protect our necks too.

My colleague bought Dim Sum for us today. One of my colleague Evelyn was offered a Ha Gao (Prawn dumpling) but she kindly declined. Out of the blue, one of my male colleagues suddenly said Eve cannot eat Ha Gao because she's old...eat too much will become Lao Gao. I might not have put it in a funny way but when my colleague said it...we all burst out laughing...luckily i didn't choke on my Ha Gao haha.

Saturday!

Enrolled for my Class 2A course online after 12 last night that's because that's when they allow me to enrol..exactly one year later. SSDC had sent me a letter asking me to take my lessons with them...want to die! Lucky my mum don't open my letters haha.

Had park my bike in my estate's carpark the night before and got another summon! Dammit how unlucky can i get..another $25...arGHH..

Okay so i went for my 1st lesson today..rode the super 4. It has been a long time since i rode a manual bike. Needed some getting used to. The riding position was also very different from my scooter...i had to lean forward and bend lower. But it sure was fast and the engine sounds fantastic.

I didn't expect to pass my lesson 1st time and i didn't. I wasn't very good at the figure 8 and crank course. But the instructor told me my weak point is the bumpy course. I need to ride through the bumps slowly and clock at least 8 secs...i had thought that i need to clear the bumps within 8 secs! Dammit...how blur can i get...thats why i failed the lesson...nvm i hope i can pass it on my 2nd try.

Music

Just finished watching Singapore Idol. Don't like the fact that the judges are trying too hard to Simon Cowell. Somehow Singapore Idol isn't as good as American Idol. The music isn't good and the singing isn't loud enough. There's no atmosphere on stage everything look dull..even the audience.

I guess the 3 to go into the next round are Olinda, David Teo and Jeassea...pretty obvious right? Haha don't flame me if i get it wrong though. I don't think i'm going to waste 50 cents calling or smsing to vote.

And i finally realised why Dwayne Tan look so familiar. He was one of the performer at Igors the night i went. I miss the performances and singing there..i think it's so much better than Singapore Idol..the money i paid was well spent. Pity Dwayne chose the wrong song..i think he's going out. But then they'll be 3 chosen contestants from each round right? And there's supposed to be a top 10..i think he'll be the trump card or something? Haha.

Do certain songs give you memories? Or even remind you of a place or person? For me, S Club 7's Have You Ever remind me of the days i take the bus to my former school Temasek Polytechnic. And PetShop Boy's Go West reminds me of Hougang South..known as Kovan now...haha don't ask me why. Oh one more...All 4-One's I swear reminds of of my holiday in Australia Brisbane when i was in primary 5! lol

The standard of music has become bad recently..is it because we download too much? Love smoothing love songs...but where to find new ones now...haii...

Rain rain go away

Had dinner at Sakura in Toa Payoh with my family and sam to celebrate her birthday early. The funny thing is i wasn't aware that the purpose of the dinner was for that. The food was alright...a large variety but not everything is nice lah. Had my share of sashimi..lost interest in raw oysters though.

After dinner sam, me and my family parted. Sam wanted to walk around and get some hair clips and hair net. I kept rushing her to go home because a downpour might be approaching, she dilly dallied but still couldn't get the stuff she wanted. On the way home...my worse fears came true. It started to rain. After i drop her off...it started raining cats and dogs. My visor got fogged and i can hardly see anything..but the worse thing is feeling all wet and heavy.

Anyway i was already wet so no point stopping somewhere to seek shelter right? And moreover i wanted to get home soon and i'm feeling tired. Along AMK ave 1 somewhere...the rain suddenly stopped. One side was pouring and the other side was dry. But by the time i've already become a souped chicken. My jeans were so heavy i can hardly walk properly haha. Stupid rain...ok now i want a car. I can take my class 2A this coming sat...woohoo!

My Weekend

Watched Collateral with Sam and my mum after dinner on friday. Well the show had an exciting end to it but its pretty ridiculous. Tom Cruise could still stand up, walk, shout and run even after being shot on the face. But i heard this show is based on a true story...really? Anyone knows?

Hmmm don't really have the mood to type more today. Might edit later if i suddenly have the mood.

The twins effect

Watched The twins effect yesterday with Sam, i have to mention that this is one of the lamest movie ever filmed. The whole show was about how this twin found her bf having an affair with her twin sister because the bf thinks that her sister was her. She started hating all men and when she managed to be queen of the country..she made women the more powerful sex and all men as slaves and toys.

Then comes Crouching tiger hidden dragon, a warrior whose duty is to protect Jackie chan's equally big nosed son because he is the one who can dethrone the evil queen. They then set out on their journey to find this excalibur which is supposed to be able to assist him in doing it. Its a super lame show..the evil queen even had one spell which make all men grow breasts when there's a full moon...haha how corny is that..hahahaha.

There were many stars starring as extras in the shows. But its a good show if u want to see some babes...many of them were hot..including the evil queen wahaha. Conclusion...don't watch it unless your mummy, daddy, gf, bf, friends or dog dump you and leave u alone to bore to death. Its the type of comedy that makes you laugh at their stupidness rather than the jokes.

Anyway, i want to mention meh meh again. Bloody fatty make me lose money yesterday. I had already decided to go home and not bet yesterday but he had to drag me the spools and as usual i couldn't give in to temptations and i lost money in the end. Bloody fatty fatty...i understand that its not entirely his fault but i can't help but scold him wahahaha...fatty fatty. Stupid meh meh!

Fate

Does anyone of you believe in fate? Without fate will we know each other? Without fate..will the powers of our mummy and daddy combine to produce us?

Work

I got this job through a marist friend of mine fishy..he has since left the job because he's flying off to the states soon for studies. Ever since i've started work here..i've been betting non-stop lol.

Here i got to know another guy..also a temp..also a graduate from poly. We call him Meh meh..or rather he named himself that..reason why he tried explaining but i just don't get it lol. Anyway he's rather pityful...he's always being aimed by the staff there. Since the start of work here, he has been given black faces and lousy work by fellow colleagues in his department. Just today while signing our time sheet...his boss told him that one female colleague has told him that he has been coming in late for work...9.30am..when we're supposed to start work at 9am. And of course he had to take away half an hour away from his OT which means $5+.

The weird thing is fishy has been working here for so long and coming in late so often and yet no one paotoh him. Colleagues can even joke and laugh with fishy but not meh meh. And meh meh isn't exactly a bad guy you know..he talks to everybody and is a chubby blur guy haha. Only thing is half the time i don't understand what he's trying to say. Anyway 90% of the staff come in late..including myself of course and no one says anything..he had to be the unlucky one haha.

During lunch time today, it was raining...so we decided to take a shelter way out of the building. We ended up at one exit door we thought we could use. I pushed it and goddammit the security alarm started to ring..it rang so loud everyone around the building started staring at us. I was so embarrassed but also partly amused. The stupid old malay security guard had to give me a nagging and took down my ic number..anyway nothing happened...but it sure gave me a shock for awhile.

This job is fine...the work is easy and not tiring. I even get to chat and surf the net quite often. This is one job i don't dread going to early in the morning...time passes quickly there and i'm glad for that. Can't say the same for meh meh though..that poor sheep...all he does is filing and sorting huge stacks of documents throughout..i pity him. If you read this fatty cheer up k..tahan 1 more mth..i'm with u ;)

New singapore

Reached home at 7.50pm yesterday...switched on the tv expecting to watch some channel 8 drama...but turned out they were showing the handover ceremony live. Alright how about channel 5...same shit..central? same shit..CNA? same shit..channel U? same shit..I? Same shit..there's nothing to watch other than that. Okok its a big thing..once at least every 10 years...but its boring..and the president is nothing but an accountant and puppet. His whole speech was on how Mr Lee chose istana for the ceremony..Mr Lee this Mr Lee that..haha..that shows his power. (Oh no will i go to jail for this?)

National day and post national day activities?

Met up with my marist friends jackie, teck and barthez on national day night in town to chit chat and slack. I had a chicken cutlet and we all shared an earthquake at swensens haha. That was actually how i spent my public holiday...played a little bit of soccer in the morning with church friends though.

Just yesterday i met up with more marist friends again. This time horse, jackie, fishy, bear and gf. We had dinner at the new food street beside specialist centre. They don't serve food there...you have to queue for it yourself..we played open numbers and i was the lucky one in charged of looking after the table. The food there was alright..not exactly special...don't bother queuing if the queue's too long or if you're famished.

While walking at cineleisure..i saw 4 of my colleagues..looks like this is a popular hangout place for Hitachi staff.

Just woman just called me just now on my handphone saying i won some consolation prize by signing some form at a supermarket..the thing is..i've done no such thing. The prize consists of an italian watch worth $100+ and 8 days 7 nights stay at Thailand..i think its crap. And fan told me the newspaper actually reported and warned the public of such scams...im thinking if i should go down..if its not a scam then how..haha.

Long story

Went to sam's auntie's house yesterday and watched a movie on vcd together with them. Its a show about organ transplant. The lead woman is sick with some lung disease and badly needs a transplant. But her rare bloodtype AB makes it even very difficult for her to find a suitable donor. To make matters worse, she needs people to die before she can get a transplant.

Her husband loves her very much and desperately wanted to find her a donor but time is against him. The max his wife can wait is 2 years and it has already been 15 months. He joins the donors club and got to know this woman that can be a suitable donor. He has an affair with her so as to help convinced her. Unfortunately her wife found out about the affair and had a huge quarrel with him. During the argument, while quarrelling his wife accidentally said that "he'll have to kill someone to actually save her life". His husband realized that what she said is true and with his deep love for her..he started planning the murder. He succeeded and his wife got the transplant. The movie ended stupidly with the wife having an affair with another man just to take revenge. After all the things the husband did for her, this is how she repaid him haha. You know what? I don't know the title of the movie.(Since when did i become such a long storyteller?)

While travelling on the CTE today..this stupid old man driver in front of me took 10 full secs just to change lane...piss me off. Unknowningly, i started singing "old man donald had a farm...E YA E YA OH". Haha ok i changed the lyrics a little..i can be cranky on the roads ya know.

Watched the village today...please don't watch it..its crap. Unbreakable was 5 times better..Signs was 10 times better..6th sense was 20 times better. This show is total crap..don't even want to sum it up haha.

Chinatown

Met my mum, my sis and Kok bin for dinner last night. We had dinner at Chinatown point's mouth restaurant. My mum had a 2 for 2 voucher meaning we paid for only 2 people ;). Its a chinese buffet and there are lots of variety...they even served a bowl of buddha jump over the wall..but only one serving for that..can't order more haha. The most expensive dish we could order non-stop is the steam sea bass...but there's always a limit to what you can eat at a buffet..after awhile we were all bloated. I went to the toilet and wash my hands in the middle of the meal and my appetite changed. I saw shit in the toilet bowl and i almost puked...disgusting! AWWW...

Oh my sis and kok bin applied for the pinnacles at duxton and they actually got a unit..haha looks like i've a wedding to attend within the next 6-10 years hehe.

What title again

I'm going to announce something...something i've acheived for the first time in my whole life. I just won TOTO yest! But damn only 4 numbers..i don't even know how much i won...is it $30 or $90? I bought system 7 btw.

Met Sam at Tampines Mall after work yesterday and had dinner at Pasta Mania. Wanted to catch a movie but there ain any nice movies and the timings weren't right. She then wanted to go K-Box and sing karaoke and i obligned. Towards the end of the karaoke i just laid there and i fell asleep hahaha.

Horsey asked if i want to go to Hoobastank's concert this 15th August...i'm quite keen..never been to a rock concert before. Anyone interested?

13 going 30 and the media

Saw 13 going 30 on dvd with Sam yesterday. Its a nice show..about this 13 years old wanting to be cool, flirty and successful..so happen she got her wish and was thrown 17 years into time. She woke up looking pretty and realised she got all she ever wanted. A career, a handsome boyfriend etc etc. And the story goes on and i'm lazy to elaborate..so do watch it haha. I was thinking...would anyone of you sacrifice 17 years of your life just to be rich and successful?

Jennifer Gartner is totally hot..check her out.

Also caught average joe hawaii on channel i yesterday. I was thinking there's no way the woman will actually choose any of the disgusting looking guys..some fat, sweaty dirty and totally weird. But then again i believe the whole media industry is never what it seems...whatever we see is 99% not true. Taking for example beautiful people where my twin classmate Meiwen starred..they purposely made their good friends can't differentiate between them...even i can close one eye and tell them apart lor haha. Survivor, Bachelor, Love island etc etc...none of these are actually true reality shows...they are scripted, staged and acted. That's what i believe at least...they are not much differences from WWE wrestling haha.

Now to the topic of dramas..wassup with channel 8 nowadays? Are they promoting incest or something? First there was the Laksa show...jeanette aw liking her elder brother tay ping hui...and now..the 9pm show..fiona xie liking her brother. Although in both cases they ain real siblings..its still wrong..so wrong..just feel weird thinking about it...complain!

How God can actually prevent rapes in the first place

Thought of this...lame it is...but think about it...it works.

God could have just made females the hornier sex in the first place. That way...no rapes can ever take place..because no matter how hard she tries..if a guy don't want to do it...his thing won't stand and there's no way intercourse can take place with force.

Moreover males are generally the stronger sex so in that way...there'll be no more rapes in the world!

Yahoo Messenger anybody?

For no reason, i couldn't log into MSN messenger the whole day today in office. Not only me, my 2 other friends too. We suspect is either they blocking us or the server is down...hmmm...

Icq had been inaccessible all along ever since i joined the company..can't connect at all. So i turned to Yahoo messenger...was logged on the whole day but nobody online on my list the whole day too! But at least yahoo messenger let me know when i have a new mail..something i don't get using msn. I just downloaded the latest yahoo messenger and i must say it looks quite good...anyone with an account please add me at "nicholaslimsg" so that i'll have somebody to chat with in the office!

Polo

Whats the first thing that comes to mind when someone mention the word "Polo" to you? Is it the Polo sweet? Is it Polo Ralph? Is it the polo sports played on horse, water polo or could it be the polio disease? Just curious lol..

Brotherhood

Caught this korean film today with cheap bird...its a good movie...very much recommended. Its about the how these 2 brothers fought alongside in the Korean War. Elder brother sacrificed a lot just so that his brother could go home and look after their mum. Its a very touching and sad story...4 out of 5 stars!

Road madness amazing world

Experienced a little bit of road madness yesterday myself...and yeah it was me myself. While riding i'll start singing and making all sort of noises like "woohoo!" Haha no i'm not mad..i'm just bored. And when some car drives too near to one side preventing me from squeezing through i'll shout "fuck off please" beneath my helmet wahaha. Learn a bit of road manners....nick's way!

Just saw built for the kill on national geographic channel...do you know that a chimpanzee actually preys on monkeys? Something new yeah...and a male praying mantis actually gets his head eaten off by his mate while mating and can still go on with his poking for several hours...this world is so amazing wahaha.

Mambo

i went for mambo night at zouk yesterday after a long period of absence. Its usually friday nights when clubbing with my poly friends. My clubbing partners were my sajc classmates. We met up before 9 thinking entrance will be cheaper then but it wasn't to be. We had so much time we went to play billards first. After one game it was time for mambo.
Guess who i saw first..a marist..adrian yap...chao hi lang (deaf boy) is his nickname..guess what he told me...he's now in commando camp..how is that possible when he is deaf in one ear? Hmmm...
After that i saw Zheng Yukai and Kenny Mok..haha ultimate nerd and ultimate loser...just kidding haha. And to top it all up..i saw Cen Zhuoxiang too...looks like marists love mambo. But yesterday wasn't entirely retro...there was a bit of top 100 chart type of songs.
Towards the end we danced at Phuture...hip hop R&B..the more familiar type of clubbing music recently..
I left early and not join them for supper after clubbing because i have work the following day..here i am in the office..but i'm surprisingly not too tired...meeting my poly friends later for another gathering ;)

Bloody old actor!

Met Sam after work today and we went to Parkway Parade for dinner. After dinner Sam wanted to watch Mean girls so we headed for Suntec. While turning into ECP, this stupid silver MPV drove out from a give way filter lane and cut my lane! While travelling at the back of him, Sam told me to point my middle finger which i did wahahaha...not sure if he saw it though.

I decided to overtake him and guess what...it was Zhu Houreng..the Mediacorp old actor. Haha bloody old man...cut my lane...i'm gonna condemn your shows.

Mean girls is not a bad show...a show of backstabbing bitchy slutty scheming girls making use of each other and out-doing each other. Its pretty hilarious and well worth to watch. Somehow the characters in the shows remind me of the mambo girls in CJC...hmmm

Imagine this.........

I'm sure most of you saw the Heineken ad before..the one with Jennifer Aniston starring in it. Well...something similar happened to me yesterday...ok the woman that asked for my help wasn't exactly pretty...and of course she's no star. And another thing...the beer package she wanted was high on the shelf on the NTUC shelf and i'm no tall guy myself haha. But i used the first level of the shelf as a leverage and got her the beer. :)

OT with King Arthur

I worked till 8pm today...you cannot imagine the tiredness and reluctance i felt after it's past knock off time. Although its $10.50 an hour for OT...but still...

Anyway for the first time, my boss delegated work to me personally. She had me copy customers' profiles from Microsoft words to Microsoft Excel...Its one of the most tiring things i ever did during my time there. Although there were only 40 customers, i took nearly 2 hours to complete it. And my pinky is numb and pain from holding on to the "Ctrl" button everytime i need to copy and paste.

After work i went to meet Sam and the first thing is told me: "Why act hardworking for what?" As if i deliberately wanted to work OT...i dread it too. Anyway we caught the movie King Arthur. Its not a bad show..pretty much like Troy, LOTR and many other battle movies..its the "in" type of movie now anyway.

I felt that the director and scriptwriter failed to justify why King Arthur and his knights had to stay back and fight when they can just retreat. They tried hard to portray him as a hero but where were the so called villagers they were trying to protect? Why didn't everyone just retreat together with the Roman army? Haha i find it pretty hard to comprehend...but then again its just a show..i shouldn't think so much. Oh the show also taught me that conscription used to be 15 years during those times...i'm so glad its only 2 years for me...if it was still 15 years..i wouldn't want to imagine what will happen to me after that.

I love Fridays...the feeling is so good...

Michael Jackson

I realised something yesterday. Michael Jackson don't sing live during his concert 90% of the time. I was actually watching the dvd of his concert live in Gothenburg Sweden last night and its actually pretty obvious his lips movement don't match the singing. No wonder the songs sounded so much alike like in his CDs...there is usually at least a little bit difference when singers sing live..but not for him. Now it all make sense..how can he maintain singing so smoothly while dancing around and making so much movements haha.

But he's an immense talent nevertheless..if he were to come here for a concert i'll definitely go. Who else can sing, dance and write songs like him now? Only a loser Justin Timberlake is trying hard to impersonate him..

My past few days

The past few days has been blowing hot and cold for me. First the misery...i had diarrhea on Monday and early Tuesday morning it got worse...i woke up in the middle of the night to visit the toilet at least 4 times. When it was 8am..the time i usually wake up for work..i finally decided that i wasn't fit to go work that day. But i could hardly sleep given my misery. I really do not know what i ate wrong, can't be JB's food coz non of the rest suffered, can't be the noodles Sam cooked coz her brother ate too and nothing happened to him too. The only possibility is the food my mum brought back from my grandma's place...but then again highly unlikely too...coz i'm sure my uncles/aunties and her all ate the same food..something is wrong with me :(.

Anyway i visited the doctor and got my MC. Now for the joy. After betting for so long...i'm finally out of the reds...i won a tidy sum betting on Malaysia..yeah call me a traitor whatever..its only betting our national team..i never quite supported them anyway since the Malaysian Cup days anyway.

Anyone realised there's a sudden influx of new CD compilations advertising on tv? Has the problems of piracy and downloading of free mp3s finally been curbed? Hmmm at least i'm still downloading..wahahaha. I like the WOW praise and worship CD and the new compilation of love songs...they are tempting to buy.

A day of adventure, exhaustion, darkness and brush with singapore customs

Went JB again today with Sam, Puss, Bernerd and his friend. We headed for Holiday plaza as usual first and walked around. Sam bought a pair of slippers and a pair of earrings..and we all bought DVD movies to watch. I bought Michael Jackson and Kenny G's concert haha.

After walking we went back to food street for our dinner. Our orders were nearly the same as the last time...claypot rice, stingray, sotong and char kway tiao.

After dinner, we walked around City Square before deciding to go home. This turned out to be one of the most embarassing, scary and fucked up return back to Singapore. The custom police opened Bernerd's car boot and found 2 boxes of chewing gums. They then searched our bags and found pussy's DVDs, Bernerd's friends cigarettes and the rest of our chewing gums. Sam hid our DVDs so they weren't discovered haha.

They found one of pussy's DVDs suspiciously R-rated so they had him break the disc and throw it away. They gave chance and returned the rest of them to him. But they took the chewing gums and referred us to the customs, Pussy went in for a long time (read his blog for his experience) and we waited there by the car as if we were criminals for like half an hour.

It was a terrifying experience..i have now encountered the normal polices and custom polices in my life now...whats next? Not the traffic police please....

This isn't the end. I had Bernerd sent us back to the Turf club where i parked my bike. The gate was closed so we alighted at the gate and walked in. The whole place was quiet..not a soul..not even a horse. We had a shock when we saw the carpark. It was pitch black...there wasn't even an "EXIT" light lit inside. I'm so glad for the small torch on my Nokia 5100..it proved its usefulness yet again..although not by much. I'm so glad i had Sam there with me...haha ok i admit...i would have been quite freaked out going in the carpark alone..ghosts one thing...dogs another haha. We walked cautiously in close to each other and guess what...we walked past my bike without even realising it. We had walked quite a distance in front before turning back and seeing a silhouette of my bike. You can imagine my relief when i see my bike...for awhile i was so afraid i'll be the next victim of another bike theft. I also let out another sign of relief when i turn on the bike and the headlights came on...what an experience...fun it is..scary it is..cool it is...

Turning point in life

Today...or rather this week..shall be one of the turning points in my life...i boldly told my mum that she don't need to give me pocket money anymore. I'm going to pay for my own expenses by saving up and working. I hope i pull through...

I'm so glad its a friday...how good friday feels when you're working..

Tell me why

While browsing the singapore bike forum a few days ago..i saw this guy selling his newly bought Honda CBR1000RR..he claimed that he has only travelled 200km with it and is sick of riding haha. 200km? That's hardly a full tank of petrol used...he must be insane.

Just today i saw another ad which is more ridiculous. He's selling his newly bought Yamaha 04R1...guess his mileage.....12km!! WTF...i can even jog that distance if i'm fit enough...what kind of a person will buy a bike and sell it after travelling only 12km? Might as well don't buy lah..waste money..

The easy side of work

Went to work with one side of my eyes sore today...don't ask me why..i dunno why too. 1st thing that happened in the office today was a fire drill...i was late as usual so i didn't take part in the drill wahaha.

My colleague won TOTO yesterday...he got 4 numbers...don't laugh...it's only $30 god damn dollars..how pathetic is that. Haha anyway fishy and i persuaded him to share his luck by treating us lunch. We ordered one whole chicken plus dofu and 2 bowls of rice each from a chicken rice stall at Ubi..haha we were too paiseh to make him pay all $20 with his pathetic winnings so we paid $5 each haha.

Worked till 8pm today..latest i've ever worked. Anyway anyone of you heard of a program call Macro Express? The person who designed this software is a god damn genius. He made working for people like me so much easier haha. The program is designed to note common keystrokes, mouse moves and practically everything else to do your job for you. All you have to do is program the macro properly and tada you can be one big slacker in the office. It made my job of partial data entry so damn easy....i can allow the macro to do my job for me and go to chat with my colleagues or waste time in the toilet haha. I wish i can openly read magazines, newspaper or storybooks but i can't.

Of course work is not as easy as described in the paragraph above..there are still work waiting for me to complete...but overall this is a realy good job for me to kill time before enlisting and earn enough money for my next bike haha.

I watched spiderman 2, played mahjong with my colleagues and lost during the weekend....i'm a bit too lazy to elaborate....wahaha...spiderman 2? 3.5/5 stars bah

Friday, July 02, 2004

Friday!

Would you believe it...i was 1 hour late for work today...i supposed my alarm went off and i off it without knowing it. But i'm glad the people are flexible here..they come in 1 hour late themselves so it's ok.

Stayed up to watch Greece the underdogs vs Czech the dark horse, and oh my what a game..managed to win a bit of money and in the end..the underdogs emerged victorious. Thus the finals of Euro 2004 will be a repeat of the opening match. I predict a portuguese victory but they might not do it within normal time...just my predictions though...always take the opposite..haha

It's finally friday...i want to watch spiderman 2. Haven had time for it and Sam has been busy. But i'll definitely catch it. Spiderman is definitely the best looking superhero of all time...with the mask on of course.

Got a call from cmpb the other day asking me if i would like to enlist early on the 22th of July..i had to reject them because i already have a job. Why reject me when i requested for it and tell me only now that it's possible after all...crap

What do you think

While watching tv just now..i suddenly had an idea of how the world actually revolves. What goes around comes around. For example if Elvis Presley didn't die of drugs abuse years ago, his fan Theresa wouldn't have committed suicide because of grief. And if Theresa didn't commit suicide, she might have given birth to a son that might have made great inventions that would have greatly affect our modern world.

And if Hitler parents didn't die, he wouldn't have had a bad childhood and have developed anti-semitic feelings. And if that didn't happen, he might have been a different person altogether and wouldn't even enter politics and try to take over the world. And if his army didn't kill those million of jews and POWs, i'm sure many of them would have made a difference to others' lifes and even the world. One of them might have set up a company to topple microsoft?

Ok i think i'm being carried away here..i shall stop here.

I got a parking summon again yesterday...$25 god damn dollars..but this time its my fault..i had park at my house's carpark because of laziness wahaha. And today i finally realised why my bike's handling have been weird..one of the handlebar is bent...i think when i dropped it few months back. They told me i might have to change my whole handlebar..i wonder how much that will cost tmd.

Oh by the way there's a new 2004 Honda Phantom..saw it at the bike shop today. Quite an improvement i must say....ignition is now found at the front and there's a low fueling warning light (something the old phantom don't have)...the seats look nicer and more classy now..the design is overall very much nicer..3 cheers for Honda! HIPHIPHIP

What if

What if one day you found out that the world actually revolves around you? Everything that happens in the world happens for a reason and that is because of you. God made some things happen because he wants to reward, pamper, warn or even punish you.

For example when you bet on a football match, God made the team you bet on win because he wants you to be happy too...thus as a result making other people in the world win and cheer together with you. Vice versa he can make things happen the other way around.

He might create a world war so that you'll experience sufferings and death of your love ones so that you'll learn to be a stronger person..bring others into your life so that they will teach/love/care/entertain/accompany/anger you.

He probably made Brad Pitt exist so that he can act Troy and Ocean 11 for you. Unbelievable? Ya i think so too.

If there's really such a person then isn't he the most important person in the world? He'll be dub VVVVVIP all over the world...world leaders around will be observing his every action and consult him for every decisions they make. Of course all these are just my imaginations..i don't believe such a person exists....Jesus will only stand on earth once and there was 2000 over years ago. But then again...God might have thought of having more children thus giving Jesus new brothers and sisters? Hmmm...wahahaha

Life at work

Had lunch with 3 other colleagues today..they are all born in the 1970s but they do look younger. There's one of them that has got her riding license. She told me that she got it when she's 21 yrs old..and that it was 8 yrs ago...she definitely don't look that old haha. Anyway she's the super fit type...she blades home after work...office's at kaki bukit..she lives at East coast...most of you will go: "what the?!" now. I'm equally surprised...blading that far and on uneven roads is surely not easy.

I also chatted with this guy colleague of mine last night over dinner. He's 27 this year and boy is his life quite similiar to mine. He graduated from Temasek poly years ago..and was at SAJC for one yr..don't that sound familiar?! He came here after he ORD and has been here since..that's about 3 yrs now.

Oh and i want to mention i have this colleague by the name of KyuKyu (at first i thought it was QQ)..she came in at the same day as me. When she introduced herself to others...they all didn't know what to say..QQ? Tan KyuKyu Phua KyuKyu or KyuKyu Ng KyuKyu Ong i don't know..haha

There's work non stop today..even better..time passes more quickly..its almost 6pm now..but i'm not sure if i have to work OT... *fingers crossed*

Company dinner

Its only my 2nd day of work today and i had a company dinner..or should i say department dinner. I'm in the returns department and 13 people turned up for today's dinner...11 girls and 2 guys including myself. Found out that many of the ladies are born in 1981 and 1982, and they feel old..

While having dinner..which is at Amara Hotel by the way..they went out to do some shopping..they came back with a pair of Charles and Keith slippers each..i must agree that earning a woman's money is real easy. Anyway the buffet was quite ok..a large variety but i must say the tempura and soft shell crab there tasted funny. Its 30+ per head but i didn't have to pay so who cares haha.

First day of work

Its the first day of work for me today after what seemed like a long break for me. I had difficulty sleeping on sunday night after freshly quitting the night owl club. I turned off the lights in my room and watched tv..putting it on sleep mode. F1 racing started at 1am and it kept me awake all the way till 2.45am...and what a race it was....only 12/20 drivers left at the end of the race with the rest either crashing out or retiring.

At 2.45am..you know it..euro fever. Spain vs Portugal also kept me awake all the way till 4.45am..it was only then that i decided to stop extending the sleep mode time of my tv and try to sleep. Success at last but i had to wake up 3 hours later at 7.45am to get ready for work.

I avoided using CTE to go to work because of the 2 irritating ERP gantrys there. So i used Upper Serangoon Road and then to PIE. Along potong pasir, there's this guy by the road taking down plates of vehicles driving on the bus lane. I hope he didn't take down my plate, because i had squeezed past a few cars by cutting into the bus lane. If the summon really comes...it will be really expensive...if i'm not wrong it'll come with some demerit points too..god damn.

Managed to report for work right on time at 9am and to my surprise i wasn't the only new staff that day. There were other temp and perm staffs reporting for their first day of work too. I had practically nothing to do the whole day except for a little bit of understanding and operating the SAP system plus printing reports. I surfed the net and chatted online to kill time..occasionally also accompanying my friend fishy as he takes a fagging break downstairs.

The office consists of predominantly females. But fortunately, unlike bata, they are generally young people haha. The lights will go out on me early tonight...no more late nights for me...good bye fellow cyber owls

End of my holidays

Caught around the world in 80 days with Sam yesterday. Its quite a ridiculous show, but then again it wasn't meant to be realistic and i had my share of laughs...definitely not worth the $8.50 i paid. Oh yeah and i must mention they use famous people as their extras too.

I also played mahjong for 3 consecutive nights with different groups of people...lol i guess i'm just enjoying myself as much as i can before i start work tomorrow.

Work is going to be at Hitachi at Kaki Bukit..i hope i'll learn something there, make new friends and enjoy myself. Going to miss those late nights and chatting with my fellow night owls.. ;)

My johor trip

Went Johor yesterday with puss and bernerd. Went to fetch puss at around 10.45am and headed for Kranji MRT. We then took a bus from there to Johor because i didn't want to ride in. I've been absenced from Malaysia for a long time now and yesterday was my first return to the causeway after nearly 10 years.

First we took a cab to Holiday Plaza. It was this place that i used to visit with my family long time ago. It brings back old memories and it looks like it has changed though. The Macdonalds and KFC is still there. We first had lunch at KFC and the meals there is half as much as that in Singapore...cheap! The whipped potato also had that classic taste...the ones i used to eat. After that we headed immediately to the pirate shops...i bought lots of games and puss bought lots of movies. We soon realised that the place is boring so we took a cab down to City Square.

City Square is big but quite boring..soon after we were bored again. Bernerd drove in to meet us at around 4pm and we drove to Pelangi Plaza (Giant). We walked around there for like 5 mins? And we got bored. We then headed to Eden Gardens and it was boring too. OMG JB is super boring.

There's a stretch of food street beside City Square that have many stores. We had a good feast there buying a big stingray + sotong for S$10! We also had claypot rice, chee cheong fun, ching teng etc...good stuffs..i'll definately go back again.

I might be starting work next week...the agency girl just called this morning. Very well because i've lost all my money betting at Euro2004..i'm so not meant for gambling..

England vs France

This must be one of the most exciting match i've ever bet on. Daniel, Bucky and myself had each place $5 on a 1-1 draw between the 2 sides and watched the match together at Jackie's house. The odds was $6.50 and we could have won $32.50.

England opened the scoring during the 1st half with a bullet header from Frank Lampard much to my delight. After England's goal we were supporting France all the way. The 2nd half was breath taking. First, England was awarded a penalty...David Beckham steps up and misses! We all shouted in delight. But it wasn't over and we needed a France goal.

Then one minute into injury time..France was awarded a free kick. Zinedine Zidane steps up and curls in for the goal! All 3 of us stood up and starting jumping around and high-fiving each other in delight. 1-1!!

To our horror, our delight was shortlifted. With only 1 minute left on the clock before the referee will blow, Steven Gerrard made a terrible mistake and accidentally pass the ball to Henry in the box...David James tried to stop him but trips him...penalty! WTF?! We were all lost for words...in other words we were dumbfound. We were praying for another miracle. Zidane steps up again and unfortunately he scores. We were fucking pissed...we thot we had the money in the bag...OLE KNN!

The start of Euro 2004

I had a shocking start to euro 2004...i'm sure i'm not the only one. The host country portugal fell to the mights of the lowly greece 2-1. Obviously i lost money. But i'm glad i won back my money for the 2nd match Spain vs Russia. I hope to win more throughout this month...OLE

I found a job

I found a temp job at Hitachi. Its located at Kaki Bukit and the pay will be $7/hr. Good money but then the job came just before Euro2004 is about to start. What luck...but nvm money is more important.

I'll most probably get the job although its not confirm yet. I'll need to wait for Adecco to call me before i know when i am to start work etc.

Long day...very rare for me nowadays

Had a field day today. Although i did wake up only in the afternoon as usual...i decided that i wanted to collect my hi-fly pay and then meet bernerd for snooker. I reached neil road at 2.30pm and parked at some double yellow line in a neighbourhood nearby expecting to pick up the money fast and leave. I walked down neil road only to find shophouse 150 and not shophouse 155. I called Laijin for help as he had already collected his pay yesterday. His directions were confusing...i walked up and down and still couldn't find the place. All along while looking for the place, i was worried that i'll get a summon for parking illegally. After all a summon for parking on double yellow will be at least $50 and paying $50 to collect my salary of $80 is ridiculous! Moreover i was already freaking late in meeting Bernerd for snooker..we had arranged at 3pm. After walking for nearly 1 hour, i decided that i didn't want to look any further..i gave up and wanted to come back another day. As i was riding out..i rode past neil road 155...it was within walking distance from where i parked. God dammit can you believe it!? I walked so far and the place is just so nearby? I was so in a hurry and tired i just rushed in without smiling or anything. I took my pay and left.

After snooker bernerd and i had dinner at Edo Sushi Paradiz Centre. The food suck big time...it was expensive..unfresh and they don't serve ice water. I'm never ever going back there again..to think they even gave me a Edo sushi loyalty card..a chop for every $10 you spend..and you have to accumulate the chops within a month. Do they think that i'm stupid?! Boycott Edo!

After dinner i met Sam and brought her to KK hospital. No..not what you think it is. Her 3 months old baby cousin has been admitted for an overdose of medicine. Her mum had apparently understood wrongly and fed him medicine every 2 hrs instead of the correct dose of twice everyday. Cute chubby fellow that was crying away when we arrived..his face seem slightly swollen but they doctors did what they're good at and he's ok now. Glad for that and hopes he'll sleep soundly tonight just like he did just now.

I just got back from supper at jalan kayu with pussy. The number of big new bikes i see that just makes me so envious. There were 3 new Honda CBR1000-RR, a few Suzuki GSX-1000R and one Kawasaki Ninja. After supper we decided to explore some quiet and spooky territories. We went to seletar camp which is near Jalan Kayu. There are many houses there but the place is as quiet as it can get. But occasionally a car or two will pass by. It was yet another cold night but we endured. The spooky abandoned house we explored a few months ago was dark and totally different at night. We freaked out even wanting to shine my high beam on it.

After exploring seletar camp, we went to Punggol. The haunted house that i was brought to by my teachers during my sec 2 adventure camp is now situated prominently in front of an LRT station. It still look scary though because its dark. We then headed towards Punggol beach. That place is also a long stretch of dark roads but there is life there. While riding, there's this dog lying on the road as if its dead..and thats what we thought initially. Only after we pass by it then it suddenly sprang onto its feet in shock. Obviously we were shocked too and we sped off. To our horror at the next turn there's another dog sitting down there staring at us. I had turned into a dead end and was slowing reversing...after i changed direction the dog suddenly started to bark and chase us. Of course he couldn't get near us..we're glad he didn't decide to attack when i was reversing...we would have died...

We also past by Punggol Marina and puss told me many couples go there make out. There's also a nice fishing place there and i think i want to go fishing there one day. Who has rods to lend?

The best bet

Just watched the latest of Jack Neo's production..the best bet. Nice and reasonably funny show. Lots of hokkien and chim hokkien idioms and phrases they came out themselves. Not much to say about it...Watch it to feel Singaporean again

Rossi is awesome!

I am mad..i just finished eating 4 pieces of kfc chicken, 4 nuggets, 4 whipped potatoes and i still have popcorn chicken to go. I had to order so much for them to make the delivery (i lazy go buy) and i have to finish it myself. I had wanted to rush home for motogp after soccer. But somehow i'm glad i'm not so bloated.

Just finished watching the live telecast of motogp..its at italy today. Valentino Rossi is simply awesome...they were countless times he was overtaken during the race but somehow he just manages to regain the lead momentarily. Today's race was exceptionally exciting and dramatic. WIth 5 laps to go, it started raining and with Rossi leading, he opted to pause the race. Every rider went back to their pit and changed their tyres. The race restarted 15 mins later and the ended with the same 3 leaders b4 the pause making it to the podium. Rossi 1st Giberau 2nd and Biaggi 3rd.

If only anyone understands what i am saying....................i wanna be a racer!

8 days

Was reading 8 days just now, fairly interesting magazine. And by the way, Zoe Tay looks a perfect wife. Beautiful, famous, rich, non-temperamental (i think), gentle, non-slutty nor flirty etc etc..everything u can ask for a wife. Geez..

And i just read that the ancient Troy is actually Turkey in modern days. The legendary Trojan Horse can be found not in Greece but in Turkey..something new?

The interview of Carrie Chong and her car was also interesting. She actually mention stuffs most people will do with their cars. Eg. taking extra care to wash and clean your car the first few months you wash it...and she said it right..it gets a bit tiring and plus the novelty justs wear off.

Oh ya pussy is back from Greece..he just messaged me...can't wait to see the pics!

They polices hate me...do i have a punk face?

While walking home today, this police car stopped and checked me. This isn't the first time it has happened to me...in fact its the 3rd time. The first incident was the worst..don't wanna mention it. The second time was ok..just a routine check and there're off. This third time was even better, they took my ic to check while the other officer chatted with me. He asked what i was doing and when i told him i'm waiting for my enlistment, he told me to enjoy myself as much as i could blah blah blah.

What i don't understand is why do i always get checked? Do i have a punk face or what? Do i dress like a punk? Do i walk like a punk? I don't think so...the polices just hate me. Every time they check me, its embarrassing when people passing by stares at you as if you've done something wrong.

I understand that they're doing their job and they're here to keep the neighbourhoods safe...but screw them!

Harry Potter and the stereotyping of polices

Nope don't be mistaken...its not the next part of the Harry Potter serials..just my very own story.

Went shopping with weijian today. Bought a set of boxers cum briefs while shopping. Its the kind of boxers that are tighter than usual...new kind of underwear for me..haven tried it yet..hope its comfortable. Weijian bought a set of underwears too..not the same as mine though.

While he was trying on shoes at beetle bug in Wisma, he left the taka paper bag with his box of underwear on the seat. We had walked till Far East Plaza before he realised he left it there. We walked all the way back and guess what...it's still there on the seat..untouched unnoticed...nobody wants his stinky underwears haha.

Met Sam at night to watch Harry Potter and the prisoner of Azkaban.

I have only one thing to say about it..very harry potter..full of fantasy, mysteries, new creatures, magic etc etc. Catch it if you're a Harry Potter fan...if not..don't waste money..nothing special about this as compared to the others.

On my way home..i encountered another road block along AMK ave 1. Seems like a major operation coz there were at least 5 police bikes and 3 police cars...unless they were all gathering there to slack of course. Just like any road blocks, the polices only retain the sportsbikes and sportscars for checking. Family cars, taxis and scooters like mine were given the signal to move along...that's good of course. When i passed by..a mazda mx-5 and Honda Fireblade were stopped for a check. The MX-5 deserves to be checked..he sped past me before that and was driving dangerously..stupid ang mor driver with a chick inside. My police friends had told me that these polices stop cars and bikes with babes on it just to look at the babes..chao tikos.

Polices are stereotyping...they are prejudiced against sportsbikes...but that won't stop me from getting one in the future..good luck to myself ;)

Kushin-bo

Heard of this jap restaurant? There's actually a commercial on it..Kushin-bo blah blah blah. Anyway went there to eat today with Sam, my mum, my sis and kok bin today. It is a buffet and the food is good. Chawamushi, soft shell crab, loads of sashimi, some hot paper bowl thing called kani kaminabe(yes it sounds vulgar) and lots of others. All these for a whooping $32++ each. Costed my mum $172 at the end of the day....

And geez..i didn't know wednesday is a public holiday till recently..this happens when you have nothing to do everyday and everyday is a holiday to you.

Some pictures from BIT young minds 2004

The day after tomorrow

Caught this movie with Sam today.

Putting a big poster of it to brighten up my blog haha.

Its a movie about the polar ice melting and causing a major climate change in the world. The northern hemisphere of the earth starts flooding and the freeze.

The father walks from Washington to New York in the blazing snow just to rescue his son. They (the actors) could actually run and escape from the freezing temperature just by closing the doors...and there was one part when 3 helicopters were flying and suddenly their fuel starts freezing and the helicopter crashed. Inside the crew weren't affected by the -150F temperature until they open the door...and of course when they open the door they started freezing immediately.

My science teachers lee boredom and sugar soh taught me that temperature only can't travel through vaccuum so come on...make the show more realistic people..we all take science.

Overall, i think the movie is fine. Other than some ridiculous parts, there were scenes of anxiety and some touching moments. Worth catching...watch it during the weekdays though..nick rates 3half/5 lol.

I'm a loner

Went to fetch Sam from from her SIA training today, had thought of going out with her but she was sick, So i fetched her home to rest. I suspect that most air stewardesses are single..is it true? Looks like it to me.

Anyway i decided to go to AMK central for a walk and also have dinner. I loithered around in popular bookshop, read some magazines and walk around at the pasar malam. After that i went to eat my favourite bar chor mee.

I then decided that i wanted to visit my former favourite hangout place...Serangoon North. I used to visit that place 3-4 times a week with bernerd just to look and check for new fishes. The owner of one of the shop we nicknamed mad uncle even recognized me. The first time he said to me when he saw me: "Long time no see!" Its true i haven been there for what seemed eternity now. I don't rear fishes anymore now that i sold my arowana..won't be starting again anytime soon i guess.

Oh and did i mention i only scored 1140 for my SAT 1? God damn..there goes my slim chance of entering SMU.

No more soccer for me today

Was supposed to play soccer with the guys back in temasek poly today at 4. But i was still struggling with my onimusha at 3.30. By then the sky was dark and a rain looks inevitable. But that didn't stop me from leaving home at 3.40 and try to rush down to school. Soccer got the better of me..how dumb i was.

Not surprisingly, just as i was riding off, it started pouring. I decided to make a U-turn and seek refuge at the ESSO petrol kiosk near my house. I bought a delifrance kaya bun and newpaper and sat on my bike waiting patiently for the rain to stop.

By 4.30 i started messaging the rest and i was told soccer is off. God dammit...why didn't i just stay at home..why did i have to leave home when the sky is already so dark? God damn stupid me..now my poor mum has extra wet clothings to wash and i've just wasted more of my precious holiday time haha.

Bloody computer

My computer is falling apart like a lousy DELL. Although its better than DELL, its Sony..its giving me problems after serving me for nearly 2 yrs now. Ok to be fair, actually only the monitor is giving me problems. It started off with a thin black line across it many months back. The following day another black line appeared and a few days later another and another and so on so forth. Its giving me the eye sore and right now as i type, some sentences look cancelled.

To make things worse, the built in speakers on the monitor is also starting to give me problems. Heavier songs will be accompanied by noise disturbance and huge vibration. No more heavy metal no more rock. God damn monitor...i better send it for repair real soon.

Job Lobang

My friend Hilmann told me he had a job lobang. I was told the company deals with live science and IT stuffs. He arranged for an interview with his manager 3pm today. Guess what? While walking there, i realised that it is the exact same place the Bernerd had brought me the last time.

Apparently they had diversify into other businesses other than just selling those dumb magnetic quilts. Without a doubt, i immediately told Hilmann that i've been brought here before. We chatted for awhile and they tried their best to persuade and convince me while i tried my best to not look interested. Inside my heart i just wanted to get out of there real quick.

The methods they use to convince me was exactly the same as the last time..using car, money and good lifestyle. I didn't allow much of their talks to get in my head, i look them in the face and just nod, but the words just go in one ear and comes out from the other.

Here i am back home with nothing to do again. I had better find a job soon, with my present lifestyle, i'm going to die early. I have only one meal the whole day...how healthy is that. God help me.

Fred Durst!

Wow weilun just pointed me to a link..

Here

You people just have to check it out..this blog belongs to the lead singer of Limp Bizkit Fred Durst! Apparently weilun told me that it's not fake and it's linked on the limp bizkit's official website.

Just look at the number of comments on his every posts..can't be fake. A celebrity with time to blog..i'm so amazed *EYEWIDE*

Back

Just back from you know what...mahjong again. Lost around $9...all to sam..never pay her lol.

Bought a bike magazine that day..its god damn cool..there are naked women inside..and there's a classified section for swingers, sex, fetishes, chatlines etc etc..They also used the F-word in some of their articles.

Oh guess what..their sportsbike of the year? The new Yamaha R1...guess it's a really good bike..good reviews from many different magazines.

Been playing Grand Theft Auto 3 on my Xbox recently..god damn cool game. You get to be a mafia, hitman, taxi driver, ambulance driver, punk, sniper, fire-engine driver etc etc all in one game. The missions are fairly interesting but guess what screwed up recently these days...the CD. No matter how many times i tried, the game wouldn't start. Just when i was enjoying it..SHIT.

Gonna play soccer tml 4pm at Maris Stella..who's game?

Shrek 2

Went out with sam, her brother nicholas and her cousin nicole today. We went to watch Shrek 2. We had wanted to catch the 3.30pm show but it was packed, so we chose the 5.05pm one instead. While waiting for our movie, we had lunch before i left them for awhile because i wanted a quick haircut. Found QB whatever at lucky plaza and it was surprisingly packed. I used the new plastic $10 note i had on me and their machine didn't accept it no matter how hard i tried. It was the only $10 i had on me...so i decided to postpone my haircut.

I went to kinokuniya wanting to browse some bike magazines. Guess who i saw there...Bao Zhong aka Chink..oh i mean buozhong..He's my former classmate in Maris Stella and he's going to ORD just like everyone else dammit.

After that i saw Xiao Ji (Small chicken) Roy Tay, another of my former classmate in MSHS. He's no longer "xiao" and he's really broad and muscular just like his smaller brother Charles Tay who is in the same BIT course with me in TP. Anyway Roy disrupted his NS and is sailing for Singapore now..good life yeah...oh and did i mention there are rumours his gf is the recent star search winner? Lucky dick.

After short chats with the two of them separately, i went back to cine to meet sam and the rest for Shrek 2.

Boy was it a god damn funny movie, not the least disappointing like what some lousy newspaper critic rate it to be. People in my threatre applauded for some scenes..for whom i wonder. It was as good as part 1 if not better. It's definitely a must catch movie this year. So, CATCH IT.

After the movie, guess who else i saw. Yet again another ex marist, Phoon Hassan aka Shouye. 3 marists i see in one day, and 2 of them in a bookstore, marists are intellectual? Maybe..lol

I went to play billards in the evening with bernerd and his friend. This time we played number ball and boy did they play big. It was $1, $3 if you understand. I paid $27.50 in total after everything including losses and for the table. I don't think i'll ever play that again..so god damn expensive.

You might think that's the end of my day? Not really...i went to desiree's house to play mahjong with valencia, khenghong, peicheng and desiree. My luck was pretty good with a few chance of 5 doubles but i only managed to game once with it..zi mou somemore. Won $5 at the end of the day...at least i recoup some losses..not too significant though...heart ache :(

My day

Started the day by going for the singapore buddha tooth relic exhibition at expo with sam.

The exhibition occupied 4 halls and it was grand. Entrance is free but there's a lot of things to buy inside of course. It was quite an experience..you guys should just go take a walk although you don't believe.

Later in the evening, i went for a movie. It's Val Helsing. OK it wasn't my choice, my mum wanted to watch it..and morever there's no other movie that i haven caught yet. So Van Helsing it was.

Ok the movie didn't turn out as bad as i have imagined it to be. It's better than dawn of the dead, dracula 2000, supernova and even passion of christ. It was dramatic with lots of nice effects and boobs. Kate Beckinsale looked super hot in the movie but i hate their accent. A pretty ok movie to watch if you're bored, not a must catch though. Miss it if you must. ;)

Feeling sick now..

My curiousity got the better of me this afternoon..i went to download the beheading of Nick Berg by the iraqi militants from Kazaa. Now i feel so sick..initially i had thought that they settled it with one chop..but they actually sliced it bit by bit..now i feel sick..i haven had lunch..but i think i have no need for it now...GOD DAMN

Just back from chionging haha

After a day of work doing despatch again this afternoon..i went home to bathe and rest for awhile before going to sam's house to play mahjong. Played till around midnight before i went home to bathe and change again. After that i met my former sajc classmates edmund, yonghan and chengyu at chinablack to chiong.

The music was alright..a mix of r&b, pop and house? My friend approached this group of 4 girls and introduced himself...only one girl in the group was pretty though..don't worry dar i wasn't the bit interested wahahaha...my friends failed in getting their telephone numbers but managed to get their email address..wahaha.

It was edmund's birthday and we got him to dance at the bartop. The bartenders had initially didn't allow him to go up because guys were not allowed on the bartop...but we managed to persuade them that it was his birthday. While dancing on the bartop they had fun spraying soda water on edmund..he went home soaking wet.

I had to admit..i'm guilty of drink driving again. The journey home was worrisome..i was afraid of bumming into a road block and i'm so glad i didn't..my friend called and warned me of one along stevens road..i avoided that stretch and travelled CTE. I'm not gonna drink and drive anymore..don't wanna lose my license, go jail or worse MATI! **CHOY**

I'm glad i'm home safe and sound...good night everybody..

Another day of work plus Troy

Had another day of work again as a despatch rider..this time sam and me travelled around orchard area and i must say it was really tiring. My haversack weighed at least 5kg with all those brouchers inside can...woah i can feel my shoulders aching and my body growing shorter haha.

Had a well deserved break after a day of work and we caught the latest movie Troy.

Not as nice as i expected it to be. There was no happy ending to it all (opps) and it was somewhat ridiculous at times. One man can determine whether a whole damn army can win a battle. Oh and guess what Weilun and WWE fans...Nathan Jones starred in the movie!!! But as a califiar..haha he super duper extra..he died soon after motivating his army..but he's really huge..

The movie has its share of action and fighting..great to a certain extent...only a 4/5 stars for me..catch it though..

Work again

Had been working continously the past few days. Worked at the hi-fly carnival on saturday but this time it was held in riverside point. To my horror, the day started with them asking us to sell balloons again...i had been told i would be a bouncer. That aside, we finally got to be bouncers late in the evening..guess what...their bouncers are the ones kids jump and hop around in..not the big men we see around pubs..wahahaha..to think i told the girls they only need guys...opps i'm so sorry.

Now i'm doing another job..delivering brouchers for meiwen's aunt's company. I never expected the job of a despatch rider to be so tiring. The extreme heat in the afternoon and the wrong turns made things worse. Covered around 16 locations yesterday and another 18 today...now i look so thai..dark and unrecognisable. Never had my Atlantic been asked to work so hard before..i hope he won't die on me haha..

Oh ya i saw a beauty on the road today...

Hell of a beauty..the BMW 6-series...first one i see on singapore roads...how i wish i can own it..damn

Eventful day

The day started with me and sam sitting for the SAT test...the maths sections of the test were easy...but the same cannot be said for the english sections..there were many vocabs that i didn't know and many hidden meanings behind sentences i didn't understand. I didn't study much for the test but might as well...it didn't need much studying. I'm hoping to do well enough for SMU to consider me.

After that i went to work. I got a temp job working at the Hi fly balloon carnival. I reported early but ended up waiting at the wrong grandstand...but i managed to find the people at last and the first task i was assigned for the day? Sell balloons. I partnered this NTU guy that i didn't know and we managed to sell around 19 balloons ($2 each mind you..for charity though) in around half an hour...not a bad achievement at all...

After that we were told to report to the other tent where they were holding the giant balloons. When we reported there, they told us they only needed one person..so i volunteered...and i'm glad i did. I didn't had to sell balloons again that day and instead i was holding the giant durian balloon with my other classmate zhikai. It was quite an experience parading in front of so many people and walking from the promenade all the way to the merlion park. We felt like we were the centre of attraction with so many people taking our photos (ok..more of the durian balloon rather) and looking at us.

Later that night when i met sam only then i know that i appeared on TV! The news featured my durian balloon and only a few other balloons on the boats..what privilege! Haha but sam said i looked so small on tv beside zhikai...and did i mention this girl helping out at the carnival said i look like a malay? Hmm...

After that the few of us gathered and had dinner together. They chose O'Brien Irish Sandwich Bar (it's ex) but shengxian, zhikai and me opted for Crepes and Cream instead. Met sam at night for a movie...we chose blood brothers in favour of Van Helsing.

Its an ok movie i would say it's not worth the weekend charges of $8.50..watch it on a weekday..

Oh i forgot to mention..i got BBBCC for my final sem..lousy results...what to do...slutty teachers
