So many things to say so little energy to type!

I have so many things to talk about that i believe this post might just stretch all the way to the bottom! Lol. Just kidding..i don't have the energy to type so much.

Ok let me start from the day i went out with my poly classmates..i can't remember the date..but it should be on a saturday. Anyway, that day was arranged for us to celebrate Henry's really belated birthday, Valencia's birthday and also for us to exchange Christmas presents. We decided to eat at this new japanese restaurant i saw featured on Todays papers. Its Yoshi Restaurant located at Hotel Royal@Queens in Bugis area..its a japanese buffet..$35++ per person. The food was alright..but the service was good...everyone seem so friendly..and morever we got a nice japanese styled private room for us to dine. After dinner, we went to Golddust at orchard towers. Yes its that kind of a place..its opened by Singapore's most famous transvestite Kumar. They really got us cracking that day..we laughed till our mouths went numb. And yes, just like my birthday the other time at Boom Boom Room..my 2 birthday friends were invited on stage for a mockery session. I have a few pictures take a look!





Ok i kinda remember the date for the Golddust night now..it was 10th December 2005. Now for the next event...i went to Hong Kong! Flew last friday..just got back yesterday afternoon haha. Here's how my trip went.

Day 1:
Our flight was at 1545hrs and we checked in 2 hours beforehand as usual. Spent some time shopping in Changi Airport's Transit area..It was kinda fun i must say. Sam bought an inflatable neck pillow, some cakes and we ate a banana split at Gelare!





Ok we flew a budget Airline...Jetstar Asia..there were no free meals onboard. Sam bought a "nan-chi" looking rice meal for $8 though. The ride was alright...the seats were leather..we had enough legroom..the service was alright..taking off and landing were smoothe too lol.



We arrived at around 1930hrs at Hong Kong International Airport. I was looking forward to seeing this airport..afterall..it has to be good..it took the best airport award from Changi Airport this year afterall right? But it didn't impress at all..but i must say the staff there were pretty efficient. They were all ready to upload us and our baggage the moment we arrived. When i walked down the ladder from the aircraft..i felt the cool air outside and it felt so good! If only Singapore's weather is like that once in awhile too. We had to take a bus from the landing site to the airport..upon arrival..an agent from our travel agency was waiting for us outside. We were told to go downstairs to wait for our bus..waited till 2030 before our bus finally moved off. We weren't the only passengers though...there were other people too and the bus was to send all of them to their different hotels. We had the misfortune of being the last to disembark..so by the time we checked in and settled down..it was nearly 2200hrs+ already. We decided that we didn't want to waste our first day like that..so we went out! Our hotel was located near the ladies market and some other market. We walked around although we were dead tired...we then settled at one of their restaurant stores for dinner cum supper. We ordered 2 bowls of chu qian yi ting noodles..sam's with beef..mine with chicken wings...not too bad only lol. After that we walked around somemore but didn't buy anything..we decided that we were too tired to continue..we went back to our hotel to rest.

Day 2:
We planned day 2 for us to visit the all famous Ocean Park in Hong Kong! Woke up early in the morning and went looking for breakfast. Saw this restaurant serving dim sum and so we went in. Afterall..i always wanted to eat dim sum in HK..we ordered so much that people gave us that "Can they finish so much food" look haha. We did finish most of it though..but i must say the dim sum there is ordinary..there are places in Singapore with more delicious dim sum!





After breakfast we went to take their MTR..something like our MRT..actually very similar haha. Navigated our way to their Central Station and took a bus there. (Oh i must mention travelling in Singapore is much cheaper than there haha) The bus took us directly to Ocean park and the place was surrounded by beautiful sceneries...the sea the mountains made it a really picturesque sight.





They had this really long escalator that brought us up to the park which is built on highland..its supposed to be the world's 2nd longest escalator! After we got up..the first thing we did was to take the rides. We took the wet log ride, a mine train roller coaster, viking, a corkscrew roller coaster and some other mini rides. We gave the freefall ride a miss though..i dun like sitting on that too haha. We visited their Shark Aquarium and Atoll Museum too..it was beautiful! The place is better than our very own Underwater World! The concept of the place is kind..i dunno why but i think this place is better haha. The fishes and sea animals were huge..some of them were cute too haha. Late in the afternoon..we went to watch their dolphin show. Once again..the show is kinda similar to the one i saw at Sentosa...we were bored at some stage haha. Anyway all these activities took place at the highland area of Ocean Park. We then took their cable car down to the lowland area. There were nothing much at lowland except for some go-cart, snow city, panda place and some other crappy things. We walked around for awhile and left.














We then went back to Central because we wanted to go to the Peak next! We walked around for so long before we finally found the tram station to go up to the Peak. The tram literally travelled vertically all the way haha. It was kinda fun..we passed by many condominiums along the way up too..how nice will it be to live there..with the nice weather and scenery..now thats life. It was really nice at the peak...it was colder too! Haha we had a really expensive meal there. All sam's fault lah! Anyhow order..in the end the bill came up to HK$600 over...which is equivalent to S$130++! And can you believe it..we only ordered 6 items! 1 coke, 1 glass of red wine, 1 carbonara speghetti, 1 chicken rice and some cold dish appetiser...madness right? Haha. But the food was nice..i drank the glass of red wine too and it kept me warm in the cold weather there haha.





No its not the end yet..after the peak. We went to their avenue of stars. Its located at the place where the TVB people always film their shows haha. It has a nice view of the city area right across the sea. Here are some pictures!







Day 3:
Sam planned this day for us to visit the Giant Buddha place at Lantau Island. The scenery there was good too. But i don't like seeing all these buddha things haha. And oh we had to pay to enter the monastary too haha..they sure know how to chop tourists too haha. We walked up this really long flight of stairs before we reached the big buddha. Visited some exhibits there..nothing much haha. Here are some pictures!








We then return back to Central area because we decided that it was time for shopping! First, we went to their biggest shopping mall..Harbour City. The place was boring! There were mostly only branded goods boutiques there..nothing much to shop at all! We then went to their Temple Street. Now thats somewhere we can shop. It was a giant Pasar Malam down the whole street. Bought many things there..many christmas gifts too haha. After walking the whole damn day, i decided that i wanted a foot massage! Found a really nice place soon after..it was really impressive..the place was beautifully renovated with excellent service and ambience. Although it wasn't cheap...my feet felt so light after that i felt it was worth it haha.




Day 4:
It was time to go home. We had to wake up early in the morning because our bus was due to arrive at 0730hrs. Didn't even had time to eat breakfast or anything. Just like when we came..the bus wasn't meant for us alone. It went on to fetch so many other people..some on their way for their Shenzhen tour. And we had to be the first one to embark this time! Dammit.





Didn't sleep the moment we reached home. Took a cab to my place first because my sister didn't have time to come fetch us from the airport. She didn't use the car that day so i fetched sam home from my place. Played mahjong at her place before going out to watch King Kong! Haha yes i was damn tired. I was dozing off towards the end of the movie..when King Kong was escaping from the humans in New York City haha. The movie was alright..action filled..but i didn't enjoy it as much as i had expected..maybe because of the fatigue!

So i've finished my post..hope you didn't have a hard time concentrating to read so much. This must be my longest post to date. But hey i'm wondering who even visits my blog nowadays..maybe you can leave your name in my comment box? I know there ain many but I want to know! Please? Hehe thanks.

Day at Sentosa!

Had a long day today. Woke up automatically at 10am..then met sam and puss at around 12+. Decided that we wanted to go sentosa haha. I thought that will be a nice place to go and $8 entry fee including 3 ppl and 1 car whole day parking is rather reasonable...compared to parking at some other CBD area carparks at $2 per half hour haha.

But the amount of money we will spend there was unforeseen by me haha. Our first stop was the cable car station. We saw mediacorp's crew there..i've no idea what they were filming but i saw candice and julian hee. We had lunch there..ate some pizza and fish and chips..it was alright..quite tasty..nothing much to say about this actually haha. We also realised that there was a new attraction there...some luge ride. Its a cart-like thing that goes downslope..its really fun haha..but can get quite scary..even scarier than motorcycles haha. After getting down...you get to take their cable chair up. All for $8 per person. Here's a picture of me on the cart!



Up next was images of singapore. Its like a museum with all the history and stories of singapore all the way back to when man-eating tigers still roamed the deep jungles of singapore and fishermen lived. Haha all quoted from there lah. Its a nice place..too bad stupid sam didn't charge her camera and we didn't take many pics before the battery died on us. This images of singapore tour cost us $10 each.

After images of singapore we went to the underwater world. I was really excited being able to go there again after my last visit nearly 10 years ago. Haha i remembered the nice fishes i saw the last time i went and i really liked it there. Its one of the reasons why i even reared fishes before. The visit this time was alright..the main attractions were the new crabs they brought it and actively advertised beside the escalators in orchard. Many of the animals were a sight to behold. Sometimes these just make you wonder how God actually created all these..its really amazing. Before our visit to the underwater world, we also went to the dolphin lagoon to watch a dolphin show. The dolphins were really well trained...i really wonder how they make them do certain acts..you must see to believe haha.

After it all, we left sentosa. We went to fetch sam's auntie from her office because sam needed her to collect her musical tickets from sistic. We then had dinner at Suntec. Ate at Soup's restaurant...the food was alright..one of the healthier meals i've had outside for quite some time now haha. The meal was courtesy of pussy because he managed 2 As for his exams haha.

After the meal we all felt tired and left after shopping for awhile. End of one day and start of another day tomorrow. Will be on night shift tomorrow...wish me luck..hope i don't get bored to death.

Tired!

Just got back from work! Has been at another camp for the past 2 weeks having yet another exercise! Exercise exercise! Not even a rest time for me! But yeah i can finally go off shift tmr till thurs! Was sleeping in the morning today when my PC called in the morning activating me to go down again..it wasn't supposed to be me today but my PS reported sick so i had to take over him...dammit..waste my whole day! Was supposed to go out with sam! Nevermind going to meet her later.

Was chatting to this staff sergeant and captain at the exercise and they are both very avid riders. They even ride up all the way to thailand. The way they described their trips makes it very interesting and exciting..making me want to get my class 2 license soon and buy a bike and join them haha. I can imagine the freedom and fun...riding 200km/h along the NS highway and finally arriving in thailand and receiving a nice good cheap massage wahaha. Now thats life...to get away from all the shit and all..i will do it one day! But i need friends to join me..all the friends reading this please get your bike license too! I wanna go with you guys!

Finally found the time to make an effort to blog lol

Haha that just didn't sound right didn't it? Well i certainly made full use of my break after wallaby the past few days. Been waking up early, sleeping late and going out. Just last sunday, helped my cousin with his wedding by being one of the chauffeurs that day. Had to wake up at 6am in the morning and be at his place by 7am. There was a convey of cars and i had a hard time catching the bridal car which was going so fast! Lol. Had to drive some of his wife's cousins around following wherever the newly wed couple goes. Went to central mall and also in front of supreme court there for photo taking. The photographer was a really humourous guy..many of us took his name card so that we can hire him again for our wedding next time lol. Would love to post some of the photos here but i dun have the pictures right now..maybe next time!

Then on tuesday..i woke up at 6am again because i had to be at the airport at 6.30am to fetch sam! Haha as usual i was smart and didn't wake up on time because as u know..there will always be delays and unaccurate timing on sam's part..i reached at around 7.15am..as expected she was late and we didn't leave the airport until 7.45am. Fetched her home and didn't sleep! We went for breakfast at bugis first...had some nice pork porridge and ordinary tasting prawn noodles. After that i sent my car to paya ubi there because i wanted to install bodykit for my car...now my car has a new look..will try to post pictures next time! After collecting my car..we went to shenton way to meet mingli and xiaowen for lunch to celebrate the latter's upcoming birthday. Guess what happened...first i went past the erp gantry without my cashcard...byebye $10+! Then i parked at internatinal building which cost $2 per half hour! i literally used up all the value in my cash card in one day that day..sob..Then one more thing..the place we had lunch in..amara hotel's element restaurant had really bad service. We had to wait 30 minutes for our orders..i was famished sitting there waiting...They later apologized by offering fruits and orange juice on the house..but it didn't really work...maybe a room for a night there will haha.

Woke up reasonably early today as well to send sam for her basic theory trial test at comfort driving centre. Then we went to tampines mall to catch Harry Potter and the goblet of fire..i must comment that the show is quite good..definitely more exciting and more interesting than the previous episodes. Ok i know i know..u all might have already caught the movie long before this post..but i just came back mah..........



Then we met my mum, sis, kok bin and sam's bro for dinner at honjin japanese restaurant somewhere in shenton way...(ya shenton way again). Because they had this 1 for 1 offer for UOB card holders..$48 for 2 persons all u can eat jap buffet. The sashimi was alright..but the service sucked again..had to wait ages for everything. And i spilled kikoman sauce on my jeans when i was signing for the bill..haha ok this was my fault. And guess what..the car park cost me a bomb again...don't ever drive to shenton way and park again!

I'm back!

I'm finally back from the awful, hot, dry and boring terrains of australia! I've been there for 25 days..but it felt like almost a year. Haven seen sam for ages now! Here i am back in singapore but she's away at South africa! Sigh.

Life there was boring..but the meals were acceptable...better than the food in my camp i must say. Brought A$200 but came back with A$100 haha. And most of the money was spent in the canteen..one plate of chips can cost A$2 and one can of coke $1.50. The only cheap thing there was the beer..the same price as a can of coke.

Spent my R&R period in rockhampton town, was lucky enough to be given a single room at Central Queensland University as accomodation..all the regulars got it actually haha. The rest of them were put up in twin rooms in other motels far away from us. We regulars were allowed to do anything we like during this period..which means free and easy. The NSFs were forced to join a heritage tour.

Me and 2 other friends rented a car to travel around and it was quite fun i must say. We drove at night on dark roads and explored the small little town...frankly there really wasn't anything much to see at all. They didn't have a proper famous brand boutique there..not even Levis or Polo Ralph or anything...nothing...just a KMart and some other small shops. Now you know why i didn't spent much during my R&R period.

But i did watch a movie there..cost me A$13.50...ridiculous right? But its alright...just an experience..and for killing time..coz there wasn't anything else to do haha. Watched Saw 2..the sequel to Saw...interesting and thrilling plot to the show...and i must mention that the director and script writer are both very psychotic and imaginative sadists haha.

Been away for so long that i really don't know the latest news around. But my sister did tell me that Wong Li lin is 5 months pregnant again...they can really keep it going i must say haha. Its my cousin's wedding tomorrow...have to wake up really early because i've been assigned to drive them around lol.

Dammit! 4D ah!!

Guess what...just last Sunday..i brought Sam to a 4D outlet. Feeling that my good luck has not eluded me..i "invested" in another system roll. I told her to choose 2 numbers and i'll choose 2. She chose 71 and i chose 78. Ok feeling demoralised that i didn't even smell the win that day..i didn't thought of betting again today.

And guess what?! Check out the winning numbers today...3rd prize 7178! Haha i'm laughing with tears rolling out of my eyes haha..there goes $1000! Sob...to add salt to my wound...my winning number combination 3-8-2-7 came out twice today too! One starter and one consolation! Sob sob there goes $310! Haha i wonder if i'm lucky or unlucky...

Watched Deuce Bigalow the other day with sam...the cineleisure offer ain there anymore! How sad haii...anyway the show suck big time..its lame..super lame...u rather watch Jack Neo's Gao Siao Xing Dong really hahaha.

There's something on the back on my mind today that i wanted to blog about but i just can't recall..my memory is really failing me..i'm becoming stupidier by the day wahaha.

Since i'm driving a jazz i thought i might add some jazz music to my blog as well..here's a local artise Corrine May for you! Will be adding Michael Buble next...trying to find his latest song thats playing on the radios nowadays..anyone knows what the title is?

David Tao is coming to singapore next time...i'm pretty interested in going haha who's interested? Oh ya who wants to go clubbing this weekend? Haven club for a long time now...legs feeling itchy now! Do jio me! Is my chatbox not working? How come i don't see new messages? I can't seem to reply mazi too hmmm...

I strike 4D today!

Haha remember the last time i striked Toto? Seem so long ago right..today i striked 4D..it was really lucky how i arrived at the 4 digits. I was driving along SLE on the way home and there's this toyota corolla in front of me with number plate 7832...then i looked to my left and this vehicle's number plate was 2873..i looked in front of that vehicle and its number plate was 8372...i took in as a sign! 3 vehicles with similar number plates all at the same place and the same time! I decided to buy the 4 digits 24 permutations. Sat was unlucky..i got 3 digits for 4 of the prizes..but luckily i covered back today..striked consolation haha..$60...not too bad lah ah...first time in my life i strike 4D hehe.

Won't be going back to sungei gedong tomorrow..will be attached to stagmont for 1 week hehe. Won't be seeing ppl that i don't like for a week hehe. Will be having my kit bag inspection this coming friday..the aussies are really fussy about what will be going to their land..we have to make sure everything is dust free etc..haii.

Oh somehow the unit anniversary was enjoyable. Played frisbee and soccer..my frisbee team played 1 match and lost and there wasn't any other game for us haha. But i did play soccer till my legs went numb. I even got cut at the toe..but it was fun! There are many people in my unit that can really play well...we can really form a good team i must say. After soccer, we went back to the chalet to prepare for the BBQ and wash up..guess where we washed up..the swimming pool there! Haha i didn't prepare extra underwear to bring there but i still went to swim. Of course i didn't go underwearless lah! Haha me and a few other friends went to Cheers and got ourselves a pair each..haha Crocodile brand. After BBQ, some of us stayed to play Ban Luck and i won $20 over dollars! Anyone that played banker that day lost like shit wahaha..it was really a bad day to be banker. Luckily i didn't give in to their pressure to be banker!

I went home after that and slept only for awhile because i had to wake up early the next morning to fetch sam from the airport! Reached the airport at around 8am fetched her and one other colleague back. Slept for awhile at her place but was forced by her to go for breakfast. Had brunch at parkway parade where we tried the parkway thai restaurant..it was buffet but i didn't eat much because i'm not really a thai food fan haha. Went home straight after brunch where we slept the whole damn afternoon wahaha. Went to watch movie that day..haha yes movie again. It was flightplan this time and it was pretty entertaining..exciting at times. Eh no other comments on it wahaha..actually i'm lazy lah..going to shower now!
