End of one week!

I've been distracted by bikes for awhile now...until this car got me back into cars....wow..it'll be my 1st car...I'll work hard!







Went to eat dinner with sam just now at the Boon Tong Kee Chicken Rice near her place...before that she went for some interview at Tanjong Pagar. While waiting for her it began to drizzle...and the CTE tunnel was like a suana! Freaking hot air all over! And what makes it worse? There was a huge jam! The cars were practically not moving! But luckily i'm riding and i squeezed through all! It was a bit scary...but quite ok.

Sam's at my place now...yakking on the phone..typical girls...and me...being a typical guy is sitting in front of my computer surfing chatting etc. What's new? Going to book our place for our Bangkok trip tomorrow...i guess that's the only thing i can look forward to now....this coming 8 weeks can be short..it can also be long..just want to get it over and done with. It's my colleague's wedding tomorrow and surprisingly she invited me too...i've no choice but to go...don't want to appear "dao"...haii got to prepare a $50 hongbao...it'll be an expensive dinner hehe.

Went to meet Sam and Mw after work yesterday…bought this Belgian milk chocolate coated American nuts from Marks & Spencer…it’s quite nice..you guys can try it..i’m snacking on it while typing now..hehe

Anyway I know that Henry don’t read this blog…so we can openly discuss…what you people suggest we get for him on his birthday this coming Monday? Who is willing to share? Those that shared for Sham’s birthday present can step forward…Hehe…please leave your message in my chatterbox!

After Chris came, me and Sam left…wanted to go eat Punggol Nasi Lemak but Sam tricked me…she told me we could go to Chinatown to eat and also check on the travel agency…in the end we only had our dinner…Anyway while at the carpark yesterday I sat on someone’s Honda CBR…some kind of sportsbike...the riding position is really weird...uncomfortable and low. Those riding might get a hunchback over time, and their crotch area will definitely be injured when doing E-brake!

This morning while at the carpark of my workplace…I also sat on someone else’s BMW big MAMA bike…it is incredibly comfortable…the seat is a bit high but still managable..but I believe it’s quite hard maneuvering it in low speed (I’m sure it’s darn heavy) . HAHA beware of me next time if you own a bike...if it’s nice and something I’ve never tried before I might just sit on it without your permission!

Enquired my motortiam on how much I will have to come out if I were to change my Phantom to a X9 Evo…he told me at least $2300! GOSH! Looks like I can only dream about it for now. Now I’m thinking on how I’m going to spend the rest of my hours here…someone please entertain me…

Wednesday

Went jogging again after work yesterday....an improvement over the last time...jogged all the way without walking this time...but still got 12min 50secs! Dammit man what's wrong..i thought i ran quite fast already...anyway for those that don't know..i will need to run below 10mins to get A..Will be going down again today...hopefully there will be a 2mins improvement everytime hehe.

After jogging i went home for dinner. Then at around 9+ i went to sam's house to fetch her to go for a spin. We went to Mount Faber..it was pretty happening there...with pubs, bars and restaurants. The sight was good but i think it will be better if we went during the day. On our way up the hill there was this big house along the road...if i didn't remember wrongly, my uncles told me that it was haunted..and many years ago while i was still very young (more than 10 years ago) we went in b4...don't really have a vivid impression of whats inside but i definately remember that outing...

After that we went to Kallang's KFC to grab a bite..i just had dinner and ate more...going to be a fat pig haha. By the time i fetched her home and reached home...it was already 12.15am. What a night..at least it was fulfilling..better than sitting at home and watching tv..surfing net (something i do at office everyday) and sleeping...hehe

Good morning people

Guess what..while preparing to ride to work today..an old woman from a house near where I park my bike came to talk to me…she told me my bike number came out 4D 2nd prize recently…I told her I knew..but didn’t strike! How come so many people can remember what numbers came out especially when there are 3 draws a week and 23 numbers with it each time? Morever she’s like 70-80? Her memory definitely isn’t failing her. But humans are just weird..my grandma used to be senile…but when we play mahjong with her..she is 101% alert! She never misses a “PONG” and never fails to calculate a fan wrongly…she also taught us that the “EAST” (Zhuang) gets an extra fan if he games..but we don’t normally practice that.

Morning is boring as usual. Ate bread with kaya. Went to Fortune centre to meet Sam yesterday after work to have dinner with her. As I went up the Fortune Centre carpark, I realised that the barricade blocked the whole road…preventing even bikes like us to go through…what can I do?? I had to turn back downwards…it was really dangerous as it was spiral and narrow..if a car comes up we’ll be snooked. Luckily all went well till towards the end when a pickup came in…but I was able to squeeze past..phew. In the end I parked on the pavement and waited for her there.

After dinner we went to esplanade to meet our project group members. Anyway for those riding...parking at the esplanade is free! After discussion, they went on to have their dinner while i fetched Sam to her auntie's place because nicole needed guide on her chinese. I left and wanted to go to the stadium to jog, but it was closed. So i just jogged around my estate...can feel my stamina slowly improving...KAMBATE!

Monday monday

I'm losing ideas of new titles to put in every posts..just don't know..or maybe don't bother hehe. Yesterday i went to work as usual...went home watched holland v and went out to meet my laptop buyer hehe. The laptop has some software problem but he claims that his friend can solve the problem..so tada..i finally got rid of the laptop..might be getting a new one..not sure yet..may not actually need one.

Brought my running shoes, shorts and tshirt today..i am prepared to go jogging everyday after work from today onwards…am really embarrassed by my timing..time to buck up. Will be taking my napfa on the 2nd Sunday next month…if I don’t do well I will have to enlist early and be in the PTP batch…NO!!!

My long weekend

Went to school on saturday, after school, we went Tampines mall to eat Genki Sushi. After which we decided to catch a movie..The Park. Haha the rest of them didn't like the show..saying it's lame and all...it's partially true..some parts are indeed quite lame and funny haha. There were a few points in the movie that the whole theatre were laughing. But overall it was quite ok to me lah..with a few scary scenes..at least it's better than the Ring and Dark Waters.

After the show we decided to go to Kheng Hong's Holland V's house to play mahjong. It was raining on our way there and you know how i hate riding in the rain..but then i didn't have a choice. We took 7 hours to finish one round..pretty amazing right? And i managed to win $1.40 virtually..Sam lost $8.40 so my winnings were debited. By time we finished it was already 12 midnight. I went to meet my MD buyer at Sembawang..it turned out to be a fat ah lian hahaha..but she's a nice polite and sincere person..unlike her brother who is so impatient and rude. But then who cares i got rid of it for $150..it has served me well these 5 years and it's time for it to go. Sam stayed over at my place because she didn't want me to make so many trips by sending her home...really appreciated that because i really needed some rest. Slept like a pig and woke up at 12+.

I sent her home in the late afternoon and decided to go jogging. I went to YCK stadium and decided to time my 2.4km run...i shall not reveal my timing because it's embarassing! I walked for half a round because my stitch was really bad after 3 rounds...how to go army like that...alamak...

Back to work again tomorrow...sigh....9 more long weeks to tahan..it's time to plan carefully for my future..

Deep - PA - ALi ah?

Went home after work yesterday..had dinner at home and caught Holland V. After that i went to meet sam at suntec..she was there with Junfong and Xiaowen. Oh ya we're ok now hehe. We watched the Rock's new movie the Rundown. It's a pretty nice show..humourous thrilling and all. Saw my dream bike Suzuki Hayabusa at Suntec's carpark yesterday..hehe so jealous.

After sending sam home, i met up with wayniest. We went Beach road to play lan and went the S11 beside National Library for supper. It was pretty crowded there despite it being already 2am+. The people there mostly bu san bu si one lah. Then you could see racing cars zooming past every now and then..seem like some rally race or gathering. But their engines were pretty noisy...irritating. On the way home we were caught in a jam at little india. Stupid place...those buggers were chasing each other playing around on the road...there were firecrackers and sparklers everywhere..it's also irritating to ride in a jam...although i'm a bike i normally don't squeeze when i have a pillion.

Moving further we realised that it was a garbage truck stopping at the side of the road that was causing the jam. Stupid truck...i believe the driver either parked there to play with the rest of his garbage friends or was there clearing the garbage people wahahaha. Anyway i slept at 4am and just woke up! No plans for today..i wonder what i can do...

Why

Why why can't sam just understand? She's pissed with me because I didn't feel like riding last night anymore after reaching home. Remember me telling you guys about my problem with the gears and all making my knees all aching? Yeah because of that I didn't want to ride and she don't understand. She's angry that I didn't go and fetch her last night and let her go home alone.

I mean what's wrong with that? Anyone Meiwen goes home alone too? And before I have my bike don't she go home alone too? And she thinks that I'm having her on about my knees being pain. She said: "u still ride to work today despite complaining of yr severe knee ache yesterday why is it when come and fetch me then will severely ache and not when u are riding to work?? cuz u dun see the need to go pick me..u feel that i can go back myself when u dun pick me up...". What the hell you tell me people...if I ask you out tonight and you rejected me because u wanted to rest tonight does that mean you can't go out tomorrow?

Why can't she just understand I had a long day...I reached home at 7pm and haven had dinner haven bathe haven rested enough...why force me to leave house at 8.30pm? I really had a bad bad bad time with my bike yesterday and none of you all will understand...she can't too. Nobody understands me..not my mum not my sis not my auntie not my gf...no one...

Good Morning

Can you believe it...i didn't know tomorrow is Deepavali (public holiday) till i read meiwen's and sam's blog...haha i was still prepared to come to work tomorrow...alright..looks like i can party tonight and sleep late tml!! Woohoo!

Yet another F**k up day

After i left my office..i met Henry at Aljunied MRT and we took a cab to UBI..my motordiam to collect my bike...they charged me freaking $44.70...$30 for towing and $13.70 for the clutch cable..Sigh... That was nothing...the guy didn't fix my clutch properly and my gear keep on jamming the whole journey..i couldn't change my gears up down smoothly...and riding became uncomfortable...we managed to find our way only after a long time..was 40mins late for our medical appointment but who cares...at least they don't...we don't too.

First station we went was to check our hearing...second urine and blood...third X-ray...fourth eyes..lastly weight height, check some heart stuff and then check cock. For us wanting to sign on...we weren't asked to sit for the IQ test and take measurements for our uniform and shoes. But we insisted on taking it because i didn't want to come back again for it another day. The IQ test was long and brain wrecking...especially when i haven eaten the whole damn day..i just didn't have time to buy anything to eat. I finished my IQ test 1st and left to meddle with my bike again...it worked for awhile and reverted to it's problematic self. I had no choice but to go back to the motordiam and ask them to adjust it for me. You can never imagine the uncomfort riding the bike with it's gears like that...my knees were aching and my hands were tired...It was the first time in my life that i felt that i hated riding...Just couldn't wait to go home..lie on my bed and rest...and most importantly eat!

So i messaged Sam and told her i wasn't going to fetch her from her aerobics lesson already...she got angry and is ignoring me now...i really didn't want to ride today..i really wanted to rest...

A new day

Came to work early today because i took public transport hehe. It's just such an irony that most people are more punctual when they take the public transport. I think it's because they already know the timing of the train/bus that's why they leave their home on the dot. For me i always dilly dally because i know i can leave home anything and need not wait hehe.

Guess what? While i'm typing this 2 guys just walked past me..they look really familiar..i'm quite certain they are from Temasek Poly. They won't be attached to my dept i guess. Guess they'll be at the sales dept. Both are guys..sian.....hehe..

Leaving office early today to go for my army medical checkup at 1pm. Don't think i want to come back here after that. Thinking if i should collect my bike 1st or go after the checkup.

F**Ked UP HEHE

Can you believe it..my bike died today! While i was turning into a parking lot at Changi airport T1...my clutch went "piak!", the bike jerked forward and the engine stored. The clutch could not function anymore..when i asked other bikers around..they all told me that my clutch cable has broken and i will need to have my bike towed..DAMMIT! Anyway i was at the airport to fetch my mum..she came back from China Beijing today. Luckily my sister's bf droved and i got car to take home hehe..My poor bike is still at the airport now waiting to be towed tomorrow morning..i was told that it will cost me $30 to tow it..i wonder how much it will cost to repair the shit..hope it will be covered under warranty...i only got my bike for 1 month you know...

Anyway earlier in the day i left office early...at 4.30pm. Because i was asked to go down to a store at Thomson Plaza...Stupid me ke kiang today took a different route to exit my carpark and i ended up lost! Wanted to U-turn but saw the ERP station to re-enter CBD area so i changed my mind...i ended up in Alexander queenstown area! Dammit what a freaking damn day..but luckily my grandma's house is there so i know the roads around quite well..i made it to Thomson but only after a long ride!

Went home for awhile and met up sam to have dinner at her aunt's place. After dinner was which i left for the airport and any happenings after that have already been mentioned..what a day..sums it all up...but nevermind i will still put on a smile and sleep well tonight!

Update

Went lunch myself today because my colleagues went to attend their friend's husband's funeral. I ate at Burger King and started walking around..i walked from Funan to Raffles City then to CityLink and back. I controlled myself and didn't buy anything hehe.

Guess what..last wednesday my bike's license plate number came out second prize...7815....dammit..why didn't i buy..shit. I could have settled my bike's loan once and for all wahahaha. Sigh..can't believe it's only October..2 more months to tahan..someone spare my all these boredom please....

Busy the whole morning

Busy with what? Busy searching for bike pictures and loading it to my collection! Hehe i guess i'm really obsessed..i'm comtemplating on starting a bike blog hehe..don't worry about me i'll get over it soon i guess..that's just me.

Feeling hungry and all now...George Bush coming today..i guess there's going to be an escort of 50 police bikes, 30 police cars, 10 helicopers, 5 F-16s and 2000 policemen...hahaha..Heard that there'll be a road closed for him...wonder what he's here for..anyone knows?

Anyway i didn't manage to call in for the impreza challenge today..tried once..and was simply too "busy" to continue..hehe...

Good Morning

I came to work today all dry and fresh although it was raining..thanks to my new raincoat and shoe protector hehe. I realised that I’m becoming a bike fanatic, I look at bikes everywhere I go and the singapore bike forum is a place I go to without fail everyday when I’m online. Here’s an update of my dream bike hehe..



This bike is 1.3 litres and I’m definitely not licensed to ride it yet..i will at least have to wait 3 years. But I’m infatuated with it. I’m a fickle person so you might see me uploading another bike picture and say it’s my new dream bike anytime soon hehe.

Sunday

Slept for nearly the whole day..woke up at 2+ and went online. Arranged to meet bernerd to play snooker at 4..guess what my clock was 1 hour slow all along! It was actually already 4.30 but my clock indicated 3.30! Luckily he called and told me the correct time..and anyway he had just finish cutting his hair and was also late..so everything went smoothly hehe.

Stupid angelfire changed their policy and don't allow us free users to make use of their service anymore..so i jumped to snapfish..it's so much more mafan but haii..what to do?

Just changed my tires

I finally changed my bike tires today. Got Metzeler for the rear wheel and Dunlop for the Front wheel. Costed me $160 for both. Somehow the brakes seemed to react quite slowly...not sure if it's because i'm not used to the new tires. Hope this pair of new tires is better and prevent my bike from skidding. Went to pay my bike installment today too...$103...oh man..spent $263 today...i'm feeling so poor..someone help me...ARMY the solution? hehe

Oh ya while changing tires today i saw my old church friend Philip. He is riding a Honda SP, a racer. He just sent his bike to the shop for repair because he got banged by a car, but was too shocked to take down the car's number plate. And he told me that he got his license revoked once because of speeding..but he's backing to riding. He's kind of the Ah beng type so not surprising he rides. He warned me that my license might be revoked if i don't put up my P-plate soon. But then he also told me road blocks will seldom check phantoms, they aim the racers haha. After that i asked if he's going to take 2A he shaked his head, he prefers to drive a car. As for me i'm quite keen on upgrading..Want to try the higher cc bikes hehe.

Are you sure there's no free lunch in this world?

This South African Bata IT manager came today. And it’s a practice to treat them lunch once..all bills on the company…so I gained too. Went to this Chinese Thai Restaurant at Capitol Center called Sakura. The food is pretty good…2nd time I’m eating there..the first time when a Pakistani IT manager came. The set consists of chili diced chicken, Fried Garoupa, Egg Doufu, Sambal Kang Kong (I didn’t touch) and Tom Yam Soup. All these for a price of $48..4 of us shared..pretty reasonable I guess. Love the egg doufu especially…diced chicken is nice too!

Going for some entrepreneur talk later at International Plaza with my classmates. Might leave earlier to send my Mummy off at the airport, might use this opportunity to tell maybe my sister about my bike..not my mum yet..let her enjoy her holiday hehe. Must rack my brains to convince them that riding is not that dangerous liao…haii…why…

Thursday

Oh ya I forgot to mention something about yesterday, while I was stopping at a traffic light along Orchard Boulevard yesterday, this Toyota Camry stopped beside me. I looked inside…hmm..familiar..OMG it’s my Boss! Haha is Singapore really that small? Can’t believe the coincidence.

So glad that it didn’t rain this morning. Came to work feeling dry but still sian haha…don’t want to work anymore leh..hehe. Army recruitment center sent me another letter yesterday. They booked my medical appointment on the 22nd this month. I really don’t understand why they love Wednesdays so much. Henry will be calling them to request for a change of date..if it’s not possible I’ll try to ask for half day again.

Stupid colleague of mine haven’t pay me for my survey at Jurong Point AKA Malaysia. They owed me for a long time already..paiseh to ask..but I will have to ask eventually one day. Shall do it soon..need money..

Can’t believe it..it’s only 10.10am..still got a long day to suffer. I’m feeling hungry and sleepy too…maybe I should go down to Old Chang Kee downstairs and grab a curry puff. Tried one yesterday..it’s pretty good.

Day SUM UP

Just came back from fetching sam home and jogging. Feeling quite tired. Was interviewing my friend jeremy on signing on..asked alot of questions..guess i'm clearer on certain things. But he signed on for the Air Force while i applied for Army..there might be a bit of difference.

Finally got my raincoat and shoe cover today. Costed me $38 and $12 respectively. Got my raincoat from this Arai shop along little india that stretch of road...it's Arai so it's damn branded...but it's only $38..hope it's authentic wahaha. The shop only had 2 different type of raincoats, one being mine..the other is $98...so it's pretty obvious what help me make up my mind. After that i was told i can get my Shoe cover at Ah Boy in Kelantan Lane...a very famous and popular bike accessories shop. Kinda lost my way till i asked this guy on a scram..what an eye opener..the shop was freaking crowded..looks like a pasar malam..1st time i see a shop with such a concept. Sellers were behind a counter and they stretch out a tin on a stick to collect money..and they throw the goods across..They didn't accept Nets there and i didn't have much cash..the cover was supposed to be $15..but they lowered it to $12...what a relief when i found a $1 coin and 2 50cents coins in my pocket..so i used them with my last $10 note to pay. There's another shop there called Regina that i went in 1st thinking it was ah boy. But the customer service was so damn bad..they make me wait and wait so i walked out and that's when i found the real Ah boy. Bought my stuff and left in a huff because i wanted to catch Holland V haha.

Wednesday Update

I’m feeling so poor..i finally succumbed to temptations. I bought the crumpler bag cum pouch…cost me a whopping $69.90…  Bought plastic fasterners from Challenger today too to secure P-plate on my bike..haven do it yet hope it works.

Going to buy my raincoats later and if they have tires at the right price I will change them too. That means more money flying away…… : (

Puss asking me to go mambo tonight but I’m having 2nd thoughts. Another $20 to fly away? I’m still considering..hehe..anyway if anyone is interested do contact me! Sam is sick again..she’s having block nose, flu etc…I got a feeling it’s because of the dust while on my bike..but surprisingly I’m fine..shall go take one doctors’ mask from my sister later hehe. She’ll look “orbit” on the road but then it’s a precaution..better than being sick all the time.

I calculated my foreseen expenses yesterday and it added up to a whooping $946! KNN! But that is if I included the $600 set up cost of my marine fish tank lah..so shall take my time on that. Need money…hope the commandos accept me..then my problems are all solved..hehehe

A new day

I don't get it...why does it always rain on me...i hate the rain..hate it especially when i need to ride. I tried riding with my slippers today...big mistake...my toe hurts from changing of gear! Haha not that i'm gu niang or what...but why will i want such unnecessary Pain on myself? I really wonder why some uncles, muts, ah bengs etc like to ride with their slippers. Unless they ride an auto scooter I have nothing to say…Anyway something bad happened on the road today…for no reason and for the 1st time in my riding experience my engine died off in the middle of the road and I couldn’t restart it. I stopped at the side of the road and tried and tried..i then turned off the ignition and turn it on again…VROOM it worked….what a relief..i thought I will be stucked there..i suspect it has got something to do with me riding with my slippers..shit.. As a result of the slight delay I couldn’t make it pass the ERP before 8 and I have to pay an extra $0.50 today…shit again. My shirt and pants feels slightly wet, my track suit is seriously useless..i will definitely go down to the shops today…no more delays!

Tuesday update

I left work at 4.30 today..early by 1 hour because my colleagues needed me to go down to a store in AMK. So on my way there i went to pick sam up, she wante to come my house. As i park my bike at the carpark in central, i left sam there with the bike as i wouldn't take long. And silly her left my sidebox unlocked and wide open as she went to the toilet in Macdonalds which was quite a distance from the bike! My goodness my discman and all are in the bag which is left in that sidebox...morever my bike's key is left at the ignition slot and my cashcard was also in the I.U. I'm should thank GOD i didn't lose anything!!

Had KFC for dinner because sam wanted to eat that...feeling unhealthy already because i had BK for lunch remember? It's time i get more nutrition hehe. After sending sam home at around 10+ i went for a jog...finally...after 6 long months i think. Can't really estimate the distance i jogged but i did time it with my phone...7.5 minutes. I will need to complete 2.4km in under 10mins for my NAPFA test to get GOLD..hope i make it. Anyway i was feeling all giddy and tired after the jog...that really shows how unfit i've been haha.

It's after 12 already..about time i sleep...blog again tomorrow...good night

Tuesday

Just went for lunch alone at BK just now coz i wanted to go Funan to find a pouch to put my new discman..don't wanna scratch it..wait next time want to sell very hard hehehehe. I chanced upon one at challenger...$10...but as i walked i saw a crumpler CD wallet...i assumed it can contain my discman and was tempted...i abandoned the $10 one and took the crumpler which was $42 by the way. But as i walk on...i saw another crumpler..it is a digital camera bag..i abandoned the $42 one and was browsing the digital camera bags...the one i wanted costed $69.90 by the way...wahahaha i'm crazy...it's so expensive. I didn't buy it in the end but i will. Looking for better lobangs or either that a challenger member so i can get it at a discount.

Now im back in the office with nothing to do. Going to spend quite a lot this coming 2 weeks. I have my bike installment to pay which is $103, probably change engine oil etc etc more $$$ involved. Intend to change my tyres too..found out that it is $130..better change it soon or else i might skid one day. Please give me more $$$.........

After work yesterday, i went to Rainbow at Serangoon North intending to look at the marine fish and probably buy something..but after calling Clarence my experienced marine fish keeper, i decided to wait a little longer. He told me Rainbow normally charge people 3 times the normal price and i need to drill my tank to start! Oh my!

After that i made my way home and caught Holland V before going out to meet my sis and mum for dinner at Jack's Place..My sister wanted reward for working so hard. My mum will be going to Beijing this Thursday, nothing i would like to get there..chey..

After dinner i went to meet Sam, she wanted to eat supper. So we went to Jacksons at Macpherson where she ate porridge and 2 chicken wings. We went for a spin after supper at Punggol21..wanted to look at the houses there..OMG they really look like condos....pretty amazing..And the surroundings were serene and peaceful..can be scary yet calming.

This morning, i rushed to work. When i reached my bike i realised that i didn't bring my handphone with me. I rode back, parked at the road in front of my house and went up to get it. Along Ave 2, i got a shock. While braking, my back tyre skidded slightly..my bike went out for position slightly too..luckily i didn't lose my balance..scared the hell out of me wahahaha..so for the rest of the journey i rode very slowly. I had lots of advises from Singapore Bike Forum's experienced riders to change my IRC tyres, i didn't thought much of it but after today i had better change it soon! I have to pass 2 ERPs every morning on my way to work..one outside SLF building and another beside the Istana. After 8 i will have to pay $0.50 for the one outside SLF building instead of $0.25 before 8, and i won't have to pay for the one beside Istana if i pass it before 8. So...instead of the usual $0.25 i pay for ERP everyday, i paid $1 today because i was late. Intending to visit one of the bike accessories store today too..need a raincoat real bad, my tracksuit don't help much...the bottom part of my pants and shoes will still get wet.

Feel all lousy and bored as usual now at work........

My Sunday

I went to sleep at around 10.30am and woke up at around 2+. I wanted to use this day to go look at fishes..so i went to fetch Sam before heading for Qian Hu fish farm in CCK...the journey there was freaking long..my hands were practically numb from the cold wind. We managed to find the place though and looked around. It was pretty crowded and there were many fishes. We didn't stay long though because i realised they didn't have marine fishes! Darn...Bernerd told me there were some marine fish farms around though so we rode around looking but to no avail. But it was nice looking at the serene surroundings with plants and trees all over. We felt like we were at some countryside, real nice feeling...fresh air and all.

We had to go though coz sam was meeting her family to eat dinner to celebrate her grandma's birthday and i was going to meet darren to attend my ex classmate's mum's wake. After dropping sam, she realised she lost her purse with $9 and her bus-pass inside. She placed it in her jacket's pocket she claimed had a hole (the jacket is new, i bought it for her for our 2 years anni just 5 days ago..remember?)...lousy MANGO. She suspects she dropped it while we were riding on the expressway..i offered to trace our route and try to look for it (Since it's on the expressway nobody will take it right?)...but she didn't want to partly because she had flu and didn't want to blow wind and also she thinks it's uncomfortable sitting on my bike.

I went for my friend's mother's wake next with darren hoe. Clifford told us about his recent ongoings and all..all he, his brother and dad appeared strong. Oh he was my classmate that appeared on the weakest link the other time. Anyway he told us that his mum had a fall but didn't think much of it. But apparently there was servere internal bleeding and her head was swelling badly...she had an operation to remove her bone on the forehead but the swelling was getting worse..things got bad and she had to rely on a life-support machine. After a major family discussion they decided to let her go. How sad...she's only 46. You people better don't belittle a small fall or knock next time..it might prove fatal.

After sending darren home, i realised that i haven had dinner and i was supposed to send puss' present to him. So i went to meet him at his area and have dinner there. After dinner we both bought a discman each..all his darn fault..he tempted me wahaha..actually i was only tempted by the $99 offer..but i found the sony one nice so i bought that instead wahaha. As usual puss spent more than me but his is slimmer.

My monitor is getting from bad to worse..more black lines have appeared..it's time to spend more money again....piss off sony....opps i just bought another sony. Anyway work's boring today...thinking about my career..how i just screwed my career up..hope they'll still consider me...keeping my fingers crossed..although i know my chances are real slim...don't feel like asking for a 2nd interview..makes it sound like i'm desperate. I'll be taking my napfa test soon...shall go jog everyday now..hope i make it..and i also wish to brush up on my communication skills..i'm just too quiet and shy sometimes..i want to change..wahaha..you people help me..next time u see me just joke around with me and talk to me like you've known me for years...i need to break out of this freaking shell!! haha

My posts becoming essays today if you realise..it's nice once in awhile to do this. Get to brush up my writing skills and also let you people know my days in details. I hope blogger will still be around 30-50 yrs later, so i can read up on what happened on these days of my life then...hehe

My Saturday

Saturday was bad..i met henry at queensway before going for my army interview. It was terrible..raining and all...my trackpants didn't help...my socks and jeans got all soaked..it was so darn uncomfortable. And my interview was totally screwed up. He asked me "what makes you think the army should even consider you", "what are your qualities", "what makes a good leader", "what makes you think you're suited for this job".........shit man i couldn't answer any of these properly..i didn't expect this..and of course i wasn't prepared. I totally screwed up the questions and he told me i wasn't good in communication.....piss off i said..looks like my chances ain good..i don't know what i can do though. Ask for another interview? Haii...

After the interview we headed back to queensway. Henry wanted to get a pair of sandals and i wanted to get a pair of dry socks! He got his Teva rip-off sandals from one adventure shop there at $19...real cheap..i got 3 pair of adidas socks at $17.90. After that we headed to Queenstown swimming complex for a swim. Swam 30 laps! It's not tiring but it can get really boring swimming like that for so long with nothing to do and no babes to see underwater (No goggles) hehe. So i was wondering when someone will invent a totally waterproof audio gadget like a radio or discman etc etc so we can listen to it while swimming..isn't that just wonderful?

After swimming i went to PS to meet sham, nash and sweelong for a movie. It was free, complement from Philip Morris (sham). It was quite a sucky show to me..forever dark..the sound effects were good however..but sometimes too much..will freak out those with heart disease. Oh i forgot to mention, PS was freaking packed that day! And i mean freaking packed! All that darn Carrefour's fault...the queue from CTE's exit all the way to the road in front of Istana and PS was long like shit...but as i'm a motorbike i got certain privileges hehe. But while beside PS i made a mistake while squeezing..my handlebar knocked onto a car's sidemirror putting out of place. I hurriedly put it back in place and use my hands to signal my apology to the female driver inside and cheong off wahahaha. It was either a lexus or a toyota camry..luckily nothing serious hehe..or else my pocket is going to be emptied again.

No my day didn't just end here. I met Bernerd for training again before i met sam at 11 to go Meiwen's house for mahjong. For the whole night i played barely more than 5 games and all to replace those that had something to do. I didn't mind that much anyway because i was watching WWE Unforgiven and also England vs Turkey. After 2 i was getting real bored..i went out to the living room to sleep only at 4. They finally stopped playing at around 7 but guess what..stupid rain..it was pour real heavy and we're stucked. The downpour slowly reduced to a drizzle. We left then and i reached home at around 9.30. What a long day..quite fruitful though...My Sunday next...........

It's friday!

My colleagues had to go to Tiong Bahru's Bata store today...that leaves me alone to have lunch..actually i don't really mind having lunch alone..will preFer to lunch alone most of the time. However today my sam is sick so she was resting at home. So I rode down to her place and had lunch at Boon Tong Kee chicken rice, she didn’t eat because she already had her lunch. Lunch costed me $5.20 + $0.50 (ERP) hahaha…dammit..so expensive..

Just rushed to finish 2 fortnightly ejournal at one go…shit them man why have to write that too when we already have a reflection section at our logbook every week, do they think we have something new to add..when I asked my LO the other time he told me there’s difference between the 2 but couldn’t explain what…useless..haha

Anyway it’s really tough sometimes that I ride and most people around me except my friends know that I ride. Especially my family, it won’t be easy telling the..for those of you that don’t know..my dad was killed in a car accident 20 years ago..the more they won’t accept me riding easily. It’s not that I don’t want to tell..it’s just so difficult on my part. I don’t want to give up riding..i really find nothing wrong with it…it’s just my mode of transport..it’s really really cheap and as long as you don’t do anything stupid it should be quite safe. I have to hide my motorbike from sam’s family too..they don’t know too..hehe…my bike is like a criminal…can’t be shown to anyone…so poor thing

Summary of my day

I just finished ransacking my wardrobe, room and a few cabinets in an attempt to retrieve all my poly result slips. After so long and much sweat, i only managed to find 3 semesters and they are all located in different locations..can't find my year 1 semester 2 result slip...damn i better be more organised and neat next time. You must be wondering why the sudden attempt to look for them...you see..i have an interview this saturday at cmpb for my commando application..i'm thinking of signing..partly because of the prestige, the status, the coolness, the job stableness and also of course the MONEY. If i were to get selected and i sign on..i'll be paid $2000+ a month...that's damn good starting pay for someone with only diploma ain i right? But so many people are discouraging me from doing it..i know they have their reasons but i have done much thinking...i think it's a good move in my career and also my life. I'll wait till saturday to see what happens before i think further.

Anyway listening to Alex Toh now, love a few of his songs...like listening to them nowadays...i know i'm slow but come on i'm no YES! 93.3 fan. Oh ya while ransacking my stack of letters i found a few boxes of letters,postcards, presents that i received in the past mostly from church friends and a few from puss, wayniest, reloo and sam too...they were all pretty nice. Feel ashamed that i only read them abit and chuck them in a box..taking them out to read again and really bring back old memories and put a smile on my face. Shall try to be a more sensitive person and treasure those around me...good night people!

I said bye bye to my asian green arowana yesterday..someone offered me $300 for it and came to collect last night..so byebye precious....



He brought a big pail + a big plastic bag to collect the fish. But while it's in the bag it jumped out and flipped all over the floor..poor fish..haven been out of the tank for almost 4 years liao..time for him to see the world outside hehehe. He told me he's going to add him to a tank with 2 arowanas already inside..probably he will find a partner there..he has been deprived for so long..finally seeing someone his own type hehe..last time he was together with a few fierce catfish..but they are all dead now..he's the last one standing. That guy's tank is in his shop in golden mile shopping centre so maybe i'll go take a look someday hehehe..

Now i'm thinking of going into marine fishes..hehe wait one day i'll go take a look...feeling so excited about it

oh ya I forgot to mention..while I park my bike at the capitol centre’s carpark yesterday, I left my CJC towel on my bike because it’s wet and I wanted to dry it…dammit after work when I went to my bike..i realised it’s gone only after awhile. I wonder if it got blown away by the wind or got stolen..but who the hell will be so stupid as to steal a dirty useless towel? But then again you never know..i walked around and couldn’t find it…so forget it..i might go take my marist towel this time haha.

Anyway here’s what Sam bought me for our 2 years yesterday. One Tom Tailor short sleeve checked shirt, 2 Tom Tailor Boxers and 1 packet of Kit Kat hehe. Just thought you all might want to know.

Celebrated my 2 years anniversary of togetherness with sam yesterday..went to Raffles City to get her a sweater..let her choose her present this time not I bo sim ah..as long as she’s happy it’s ok! After that we went to Parkway Parade to eat at Jack’s Place. Parked at one public carpark there but didn’t had any coupon..paid this malay uncle $1 for one worth 65cents haha…

After dinner we walked around and headed to Balestier to catch a movie. We watched Infernal Affairs 2…and wow what a show..it’s really quite cool…with good looking people and cool gangsters. MONDAY!!!!!!

Dammit it rained this morning and i came to the office with my pants kinda wet..i had windbreaker for my top and helmet for my head so the rest were ok.

Went to Hougang for my dinner yesterday...ate the famous Punggol Nasi Lemak..it was really nice...but it was really expensive too...4 dishes (chicken,egg,sotong ball, otah) = $4.60...hmmm... Anyway it's however still highly recommended...opens daily from 6pm - 5am..closed on thursday...now i have somewhere new for supper. Beside the Punggol Nasi Lemak store was this AMK house of Noodles store...looks kinda nice too with minced pork noodles and other stuffs. Yesterday i was wondering together with Bernerd why Punggol Nasi Lemak and AMK House of noodles are both located in Hougang South...but then what the heck who cares...

I realised that i'm really getting old and forgetful. I can forget something that i thought about just seconds ago and rack my brain thinking thinking and still can't remember what it was. DAMMIT...someone help me

Finally

Ok finally i got my blog back up almost to normal except for the website links that i use quite frequently. And for some friends' blog address that i can't remember i'll do up later. Stupid blogger...maybe it's retribution for taking the $2.50 haha.

Anyway for those of you that haven seen me for a long time, i got myself a new hairstyle..sort of new...told the guy to cut G.I. hairstyle but it turned out to be longer than i expected it to be...but nevertheless it's still short..To some i look funny but to some i look better...for eg i find that i do look funnier, sam however feels i look nicer...my mum thinks i look funny...but my "godma" which is my colleague here at Bata thinks i look better. Most of the other younger colleagues of mine thinks that i look funny but the older generation thinks it's better...haii...one hairstyle can create so many different opinions.

I've got no digi cam so i can't take a photo of myself in this new hairstyle and also on my phantom hehe. Speaking of digi cam...that day while at centro..there was a lucky draw going on courtesy of 77th street...and guess what the person called my handphone and i was told i was chosen to win their grand prize..a che-ez digi cam..dammit dammit i thought it was some prank call or some buyer so i didn't pick it up...what luck..haha anyway weilun got it so not too bad..at least someone that i know got it...And i'm not the only one that missed getting a prize for not picking up their call...mingli was another one..haha..wonder what she was chosen for...

Oh ya i forgot to mention something else that happened at outram mrt today. I was coming down from the escalator and walking towards the ticket vending machine (because sam took my ez link card) when there was a "Ting" sound...i realised that a 50cents coin has dropped from the machine..to my astonishment a $2 note followed out and of course i took it right. While buying my ticket from the machine next door...a woman walked there with a mrt staff and told her that she had inserted money into the machine and it got stuck. I went "opps" silently and walked away after i got my ticket. It's not that because i didn't want to return the money but it would have been embarrassing if they know that i took the money...hehe so i escaped.

It's only Thursday....

Don't have my phantom for today coz i left it with the workshop to install a sidebox on my bike. The rearbox is not enough because after i put 2 helmets in that's practically no more space for other stuffs. So this morning i took my sis's bf kok bin's car..he was fetching my sis to SGH and dropped me outram mrt on the way. My sis has some end of posting examination today..she was supposed to examine a patient in front of a qualified doctor. On the way to outram on the car, i fell asleep...haven sat on the comfort of a car for a long time..hehe..and i get tired quite easily nowadays...i will fall asleep on my bed at around 11pm every night.

Here i am back at my computer in the office..9 long gruelling hours ahead...i wish i had a bed and bolster now.....zzzzzzzzzzzz....
