Update

Just took my Napfa test yesterday...just passed on the dot! HENG AH! For my standing broad jump, i actually jumped 215cm but i needed 216cm to passed. So i pleaded with the female tester to give me that one more cm so that i don't need to waste 2 months of my life, to my relief...she agreed! Now i don't need to go through PTP...phew. After that came the 2.4km run, they didn't make use of the school's running track but instead make us run at the reservoir...how weird. But anyhow, the run proved torturous to me...i was so damn shagged towards the end my stitch was giving me excruciating pain and my whole world started spinning a little. But i managed to clock 12.07mins...just nice for a silver.

Today...my whole body is aching...going to do project tml...nothing on thursday...friday should be sentosa day if all goes well...anyone game? Will be celebrating mazi's bday at MS this sat if all goes well too...making full use of my holiday...

Valentine's day

I haven blogged for nearly a month now; I would say the reason is I’m lazy.

Today is Valentine’s Day, woke up late in the afternoon and decided I needed to study. I’m not the kind that can study in the own comfort of my room, temptations around will still prove victorious over any determination on my part, if there’s any. So I decided I will go to queenstown library to study because it’s near Sam’s workplace. When I was young, my mum will bring my sis and me to this library every week because my grandparents’ house is just across the road. Just like most libraries around, this one changed a lot too. It got a major makeover and it’s now more modern and new. But then most of the patrons there are of the older generations…why? Because it’s queenstown. Managed to finish one of 3 subjects to be tested this coming term test, but somehow I feel that I still don’t understand a shit.

After the library closed at 5pm, I went to Sam’s workplace to meet her. But she can only leave at around 5.45pm so I waited. Killed some time by taking a Toyota car list and browsed through it. The new Toyota Corolla Altis 1.6 cost around $71k while the Corolla Altis 1.8 cost around $82k. Why pay $11k more for 200cc more? Don’t make sense to me. Ok although there might be more features here and there….but then again…$11k is a lot of money…you can always use it to buy a motorcycle? HAHA.

While waiting, I also went to Harley Davidson’s showroom which is just across the road. There were quite a number of Caucasian Harley riders there. Seem like they hang around there every weekend. Found out that my dream Harley bike the V-rod costs around $42000, which means an installment of $700 over 60 months. CRAZY.

Sam bought me a box of famous amos packed in a heart shaped tin and baked me a chocolate cake for vday this year. Although the cake is simple with no decorations or fillings, I know she spent quite some time on it and I appreciate that…thank you darby! Had decided to bring her to any jewellery store to choose a new pair of couple’s rings for her present this year because she told me she lost hers (it’s a lie) and mine was broken. But when I told her about it, she didn’t want it so we didn’t get it. Instead I decided to treat her to a sumptuous meal and we settled on Crystal Jade Kitchen. Ordered sharks fin, steam Sun Hock, fried cuttlefish, fried chicken and the bill amounted to $84 in the end. Come to think of it, it’s so not worth it. After all, Igors only cost me $75 and there’s performance and entertainment to go with it. What does Crystal Jade has here that make me pay so much? Bon Bon shaking ah ma waitresses? Come on….lol…

After dinner we decided to go for a spin around. Ended up house browsing at Nassim Road (2nd most expensive property….on Monopoly), 2nd avenue and 6th avenue. We also passed by Queen Astrid Park…the most expensive property on Monopoly haha. Passed by many fabulous looking houses I can only dream of owning…some even have their own security guard house…with security guards guarding of course. Some were old but still humongous….spooky though. While riding aimlessly, we ended up all the way in NUS…somewhere near Clementi…amazing yeah. Explored the school compound for awhile and decided to head back for home.

After that I met Weijian and went up to his house to watch Man Utd vs Man City for awhile. When I got back to catch the last 30 mins of the match, the score was 1-0 to manu and manu had one man sent off. Amazing in a blink of any eye, manu started attacking and attacking and goals became abundant. The score was 4-2 to Manu in the end. After that went to play lan with weijian and here I am…just reached home. Have enough significant on goings today to blog about, hope I’ll have inspirations in the coming days. Good night.
