Friday

Do you people know that BMW is the acronyms for bayerische motoren werke AG? Gee I didn’t know that, I didn’t even thought of what it might stand for, it’s so chim I doubt anyone of you will remember though.

Like I blogged, I went to Sembawang Shopping centre yesterday to help set up the computer because it’s a new store opening. When I arrived, it was already 5pm, but then those doing the computer counter didn’t do it correctly and the monitor didn’t fit in. They cut, they drill, they saw etc etc for for around 1.5 hours and I couldn’t set up the computer till around 6.30pm. The wires were short and the sockets were so inside I had a hard time stretching to connect. I got myself into a dirty state and the damn computer couldn’t connect to the Internet. I called my colleague in the office and surprisingly and fortunately she was still in the office. At the end of day it still can’t work and I’m went down with her again later today to do it since they have to open the new store today. By the time I finished it was already 7.15pm. I was supposed to collect my bike but it was already so late, I called them and they told me to go down today instead. So I took the bus and MRT again this morning. The repair for the seat will cost me $60, luckily it’s nothing much, so relieved.

I just came back from Sembawang. Left office at around 8.30am for Compasspoint then took 3 buses to Sembawang Shopping Centre. The problem was with the telephone wire, it’s spoilt..tamade. We then took one direct bus back to cityhall..the bus journey was 1 hour…backside pain.

Came back in time for lunch. Didn’t want to eat because I had Macdonalds breakfast in the morning while waiting for the Compasspoint branch to open, but Peninsula’s store manager wanted to treat us again. During my time here, he treated me a total of 3 times already..feeling so paiseh. He’s always so generous and he will always order chunks of food. Had so much today I’m feeling so bloated now.

My FYP group’s coming to my place for discussion today and I didn’t know it till just now. Ok nevermind it’s fine with me. Will be collecting my bike later, my sister already know about my bike, probably I will offer her a lift one of these days. Recently there’s so many shows and news on bike accidents, morever my cousin’s side malay nephews all had accidents with their bikes, so I guess now is not the right time to tell my mummy hehe.

Thursday

I went to my bike shop yesterday to collect my friend’s ic and also my bike’s insurance. I also left my bike with them to fix my cushion, I wonder how much they will charge me this time sob…

So I came to work this morning on bus and mrt. Haven’t caught those old “friends” of mine on the train, saw some familiar faces but of course I didn’t say hi. So here I am, back to when I have to squeeze around with the rest hoping I can enter the train,
stand around hoping I can find a seat and remembering to scan my ez link card when I alight from the bus. Hate doing all these, but if I have a direct bus that can take me from my home to my workplace in time and have no lack of seats for me choose, I will gladly take a bus to work. I can sit down whichever way I like and either take a nap or enjoy tv mobile…now that’s comfort on a public transport. Will get my bike back on Friday…looking forward.

I lost my water bottle, not sure where it went to, I think sam misplaced it…now I come to work everyday without water…thirsty lah. Don’t drink tea or coffee or hot water so I seldom go to the office’s pantry.

Bata is opening a new branch in Sembawang Shopping Centre, if I’m not wrong, that is just beside Singapore Satay Club? So I might be going there today to do setting up. Other than that, yet another boring day with nothing to do.

Wednesday

I did almost nothing yesterday..woke up at 12 noon, ate my lunch and went back to lie down on my bed...haha. But guess what i did do something really stupid, i went to d.i.y cut my bike's cushion seat to make it lower...now although it's much more managable, it's uncomfortable...sob sob...

Should be going down to the bike shop to ask them how much it will cost me to replace the cushion..what a stupid thing i did..now i'm sure i have to spend more money..why didn't i just spend $50 and let the shop do it...now i have to spend probably $100-$300 to replace the cushion..so not worth it..dammit.

Eve of Hari Raya Puasa 2003

Went out with weijian aka cheap yesterday. We went to queensway shopping center before going to beach road to play lan again hehe. After that i bought fish ball noodles for sam and brother from lavender food square before going back. Nothing interesting I will say hehe.

Cheap is the only lucky one that I know who have a long weekend this week, the rest have to book in yesterday and book out today..what a waste of time and money. Oh anyway cheap is going dating again today, looks like his chances are quite good hee.

Called my bike shop just now, they quoted me a price of less than $300 for a repair of my bike. Dammit a few falls cost me $300..heart pain. But if I don’t get it touched up I feel uncomfortable inside knowing that my bike is not so perfect I don’t know why..so I guess I’ll just spend that money. An expensive lesson for me but at least I’ll be more careful next time and I never got injured in any incident thank God. They told me everything will be done in 7 days so I guess I’ll be bikeless for 1 week soon.

Will be meeting Jackie, Odette, Ivory, Horse for dinner later, Sam might be coming along (She’s giving excuse not to go course she’s sick). May my eve of a public holiday be a fulfilling, happy and faultless one..cheers!

Weekenddd

Went home after work on Friday and i rested till around night before i met up these 2 guys from the forum. One was riding a Piaggio X9 Evolution and the other a red Aprilia Atlantic, same as me. They were really nice..they came all the way to Ang Mo Kio when i asked them for help. I suspected that my handlebars were not aligned with my wheels after i dropped it the last time and my bike shop told me my suspension fork might be bent and wanted to charge me around $120 for servicing. I didn't believe of course and morever i have to leave my bike with them for around 1 week to service it NO WAY. As for the scratches on the bike they told me they can do touching up for me but of course i didn't want them to do it..don't want to spend more money. I was told i can use Tamiya paint and do some touching up...might try it soon.

Oh anyway both of them helped me out for nearly 1 hour. They screwed out these and that to see what's wrong and adjusted abit. But after adjustment it still didn't feel right, they told me that my handlebar might be bent and recommended a mechanic in amk to go to. But so far i have no problem riding and i think i'll skip the servicing for now. While dismantling halfway they needed a spanner but we all didn't have one..as i lived the nearest of course i went home to get it. They were really thoughtful and the atlantic guy gave me a lift to my block..(we were at the multi storey carpark opposite my estate..so it's quite far). This is the 1st time i'm being pillioned on an Atlantic and the 2nd time i've ever been pillioned in my life. I have to admit i don't really like being pillioned, i don't have control of the bike and i don't feel good haha. Now i understand how you pillions feel...but i guess once you get used to the rider and being pillioned..it'll be ok, just like Sam...she fell asleep on my bike once. They left at around 10.30pm as they were supposed to meet some others at ermmm 10.30pm. They all planned to go to JB to eat and also pump petrol. Might be meeting them again because they offered to help me out with my I.U unit..(it's currently under my seat).

Oh ya they told me not to travel above 70km/h until i clocked 1500km on my mileage and not above 80km/h until i clocked 2000km. Once i reached 3000km i can go any speed i like..this is called a run in of the engine and it supposingly can make my engine perform better in the future. I'll heed their advice so now i'll stick to the left lane of the expressway!

After they left i made my way to Punggol Nasi Lemak Coffeeshop at Hougang South to meet Jackie, Odette and Bernerd. We all went there feeling full, so we all had a drink first. I parked my bike by the side of the road and after awhile, the police came and of course i had to flee, i hope they didn't take down my license plate number. I then parked at some carpark at the back where Jackie parked his car too. We continued having our drink and chit chatting until it rained! We expected it to be a passing shower but NO!, it was a cumulomnimbus cloud and it continued to rain and rain! We then decided to eat, so we tried the AMK house of noodles, minced pork noodles...it was delicious..very much like the one in AMK S11. Had our fill but it was still drizzling..we decided not to wait and left. But of course all of them had cars and i'm the only one without any shelter for my journey home. Got home late and had to turn in early because there's school tomorrow!

On Sat, went to school. After that went to Changi village because Sam wanted to eat the Nasi Lemak there. We went to the red house in Pasir Ris because she wanted to see it...it was eerie...there were offerings placed at the front of the gate. We didn't want to look longer and left.

At night we went for Havana Night, tickets courtesy of Phillip Morris. Their dances were great...sexy bodies were flying all around. The guys were freaking strong as they threw the girls around as if they were only 1kg. I ate my Quarter Pounder inside as i didn't have time for dinner before the concert and was feeling really hungry. Hope the rest of them didn't smell my burger hehe. After the concert we all left, Sam went home with her brother and so i'm left to leave alone. Anyway we had arranged to play mahjong at jackie's house, i picked pussy up at Paya Lebar MRT and went there. Horsey was late as usual and we didn't start playing until 12 midnight. Ended at around 3am and i lost $2, Pussy Han lost the most and Horsey won the most. We then decided to go to Bedok 85 for supper...supper was courtesy of Horsey having won our money...had the yummy soup minced pork noodles and yet another night i'm going to sleep with a full stomach, don't be surprised if you see a ballooned me next time.

Had nothing on today..Sam went to the Bird park with her family and i'm left at home alone. Shall start planning now...blog again tomorrow.

It's friday!

While arriving at the carpark today, for the 1st time in 5 months i saw the owner of the Piaggio X9 Evolution always parked at the same carpark. He was a balding old man and he's really friendly. He came up to chat with me..asking me how much i bought mine..what engine i using etc etc. He also asked me why i have wires tangling from my bike..thinking it was some radio thing when it was actually my ERP I.U unit. He told me it can be quite dangerous with wires dangling like that and tell me to get the mechanics to do something soon..i understand. I also found out that he has all 3 classes license of riding...he told me that he used to owned 500cc, 250cc bikes but since he's already old he don't need something so powerful. He works in the same building as me and i think i'll see him around more often.

Went jogging with Sam at upper Pierce Reservoir yesterday. Nice quiet surroundings with no lack of fresh air. But that girl got tired after jogging awhile.....so lousy....HEHE...

Going back to school tomorrow. Hope today pass soon....

SOBBBBBB

Today will be one of the moodiest day of my year. While i released my bike from it's mainstand in the carpark this afternoon...i never hold properly and the bike dropped! KNNNNNNNNNN......damn pissed off...now the bike has quite jialat scratches..the "I" and "C" from the atlantic fell off but i superglued it back...pissed off with myself...shit man..why did i do that...ARGHHHHH

I'm at home WOOHOO!

Went CMPB to submit some edocument shit..this is the 4th time i've been there already...those inefficient morons...why can't they just settle it at one go chop chop? Anyway it's ok...i settled everything within half an hour today and i came home first of course! Going back to office later after lunch....the day will be easier and shorter to pass of course. I just cooked myself a packet of maggi mee (actually myojo mee) and nuggets and i just finished them. I has been months since i ate maggi mee can you believe it.

Don't know what to do now..1 more hour to go before i shall go back to office. Nothing much to blog about today. I'm contemplating if i should DIY cut the cushion of my bike to lower to seat...haii...wait spoil i'll cry...

My tuesday

Working as usual....with nothing better to do. I went to clean my baby during lunch just now and guess what! I notice a few minor scratches by the side! Damn pissed off..who is the bastard that anyhow park scratching my bike in the process...i'm gonna to whack him up...although the scratches are really small i still don't feel good. After all i spent my fortune on it..i feel as if my bike has been molested HAHA.

Yesterday i went to my bike shop to install an I.U unit for $152...they told me there's no where to put the I.U on the bike so i have to temporarily put it under the seat. Anyway might as well since it's more pleasing to the eye without an I.U and my cashcard won't be stolen this way if i forgot to take it out. But the bad thing is everytime i go pass an ERP station i have the take the I.U out because the station might not be able to detect the I.U and i'll get a summon as a result. There's a grotesque stain on my handlebar and i asked the bike shop to change it for me. But they told me i can go down only on thursday since that's when the new stocks arrive. I saw a petite Malay girl riding a new Kawasaki KRR Kips yesterday...and guess what..apparently it's Sham's cousin. What a small world.

That night at the private estate opposite my house where i always park my bike, a couple on the same Red Aprilia Atlantic rode past my parked bike. Anyway i seem to bum into Mazi's younger brother Jack all the time...he seem to go home and go out at the same time with me all the time..i don't know whats up with that haha. They seem to be going for a spin around..at least they don't seem they're there for a reason. I look at them..they look at me...both of us seem shocked that we have exactly the same bike and exactly the same colour too hehe. His bike is FX too..seems like he got it not long ago too..will want to meet up with a few other atlantic owners to chit chat one day hehe. They can teach me a trick or two on how to maintain it and at the lowest cost too!

Shall continuing stoning now..will update my blog when i feel like it.

Hey some more new pictures of me my friends and my new baby!

Fellow bike lover

Found a fellow bike lover's blog...boy does he own alot of bikes over the years..check it out..

HERE

Be really careful at Bangkok

While talking to my colleagues during lunchtime, my colleagues warned me about Bangkok. Especially Sam, Meiwen, Meiting and Carrie read carefully hehe. Apparently more than 10 years ago, my colleague’s uncle’s colleague’s brother went Bangkok for honeymoon together with his wife. They hailed a cab and the wife boarded first, before the guy even boarded the taxi sped off and apparently his wife was never ever seen again. My colleagues told me that his wife was really pretty and kidnapping was not uncommon in Bangkok/Phuket etc. So you guys better board any cab/tutu etc first..preferbly holding the hands of your love one. If not you might be the one being kidnapped and forced to sell backside for the rest of your days! EEEK!

Anyway if this really happens during our trip to Thailand, I’ve come out with a few solutions to it.

1. Bite that damn taxi driver’s ears and poke his eyes. Never mind about the crash..better get injured then sell your body for the rest of your life.
2. Bring along some insect repellent or insecticide and spray it onto his eyes.
3. If all else fail…JUMP CAR!

Anyway with Laijin around during the trip nothing will go wrong since he’s the incredible BAO of our class. And I’ll pack a parang, a chopper, a fruit knife and an army swissknife in my luggage…..HAHA..fear not ladies!

Long weekend

I suspect that this will be a long post from me because I certainly had a long long weekend…a lot of things happened and I’ll try to put them down in words from what I can remember.

On Friday, I handed over my Phantom to it’s new owner after work. He came to City Hall to collect it afterwhich I went to meet Puss. We took a bus down to orchard and alighted at the bus stop beside Taka. We walked for quite awhile before we finally compromised on where to have dinner…Crystal Jade noodle house…that stupid puss ordered so much food I got so bloated. And the worst thing is that the different dishes he ordered all had the same pork filling in them…crap. After dinner we went shopping, I was looking for my mum’s birthday present and he wanted to buy a wallet. He finally settled for a Braun Buffel wallet and I settled for a $55 pillow instead of the $240 Tempur pillow I initially wanted to buy. Present finally settled!

On Saturday, I woke up at around 12 noon and went to watch the past few episodes of Holland V that I missed. Halfway through, my family finally decided we should go to Jack’s place for lunch to celebrate my mum’s birthday. So I didn’t managed to finish watching my Holland V and had to go prepare. Midway through lunch I got a call from Dom that I can collect my new bike! But I had to find a guarantor first before I can go collect my new bike, I got my cousin which he readily agreed! I went with sam and met him at Paya Lebar where he drove us to the shop. It was raining but fortunately it wasn’t heavy. We settled everything and I got my bike…the seat is quite high but it’s lighter and much easier to handle than the Phantom. My pillions complained that the seat is too high and they feel insecure. But I think it’s more fun since you can see further and the air up there is always fresher! The one problem I’m having with the bike now is that there’s no I.U unit! Now I can’t go through any ERP station and not get summoned! And you people know I have to pass by at least 1 ERP station everyday to come to work! I called the bike shop and I was told I have to pay $152 to install one and it can be done earliest by Monday…dammit man…more money to be spent.

Anyway I fetched Sam to Suntec where she was going to meet xiaowen and mingli to celebrate the latter’s birthday. Weijian met me there at Suntec too and we went Beach road to play lan. After that we went for a spin and we ended up in Marina South. Later on I went Jalan Kayu to meet Clarence and friends for supper. They didn’t believe I changed my bike and even came prepared with a camera wanting to take me riding the phantom…(something they find hilarious)..HAHA. Anyway here’s a few pictures of my new Aprilia! Pictures ain taken too carefully so bear with it!

Sunday, 16th november 2003….one of the most unlucky day of my year. Ok the Sunday started normally, I went for mass with Puss afterwhich we had lunch with Dom, Dot and Fabien. After lunch I headed for Sengkang to my cousin’s house for her baby’s MAN YUE (1st month?). Guess what…my sister found out that I got my motorbike license. She asked me while I was eating along the corridor. She didn’t scold me or anything, she just told me that by now I should know whether it’s dangerous riding a bike. She told me that while at A&E, this biker came to the hospital clutching his groin and his testical dangling. Apparently he got hit by a truck..he was a malaysian. I’m not trying to generalise but I think those malaysian bikers are really reckless. They squeeze through cars like nobody’s business and they seem to always speed on the expressway. Yesterday I witnessed 2 bikers riding freaking dangerously on CTE…the traffic was relatively heavy and they zoomed between cars at ridiculous speed. One of the bike even had a pillion…crazy people…don’t they even treasure their lifes? At that speed…one wrong move and they’re gone. Anyway they are not malaysians HEHE. I guess it’s anytime soon that my family will find out about my bike, my cousin told me that my sister and kok bin suspected. I’ve been trying to hint…leaving bike pictures on my computer desktop and leaving my bike magazine around. I just hope they won’t object violently to it and will eventually accept it?

After leaving my cousin’s place, I went to fetch Sam up from her workplace Borneo Motors. We then went to Geylang to eat her Turtle soup…one small bowl costed a whooping $10, it’s already the cheapest. After dinner we got Nicole her favourite chicken rice and sent it to her place. Her parents weren’t at home and Sam wanted to accompany her because she thinks it’ll lonely for her. I didn’t think so since her maid and grandpa are at home. Anyway I persuaded her to accompany me to Regina…this bike store near Lim Ah Boy. She wanted me to install this backseat cushion to make it more comfortable for her. It costed me $37..$40 actually but I didn’t have enough cash and they didn’t accept NETS. After installing it we went back to nicole’s place and stayed there for awhile. I had a bath and that’s one of the worse mistake this night. We left after awhile as we were both tired. I sent Sam home and went to AMK to pump petrol. After filling up the tank I realised that I didn’t have my wallet with me! I left it in Nicole’s bathroom! So guess what happened next..obviously I panicked..no money to pay..i called the one living nearest to the koisk…Fabien..he didn’t pick up his call. I had no choice..i told the cashier and filled up an I.O.U..travelled all the way back to paya lebar and back to settle the payment…dammit..what bad luck. I definitely spent more than $100 this weekend alone..feel so sad. Going to start saving now….

Friday

Ate at this muslim stall yesterday, the food wasn’t bad..in fact it’s quite nice…expensive though…it was $15 each. After that we wanted to catch wishing stairs at Lido but they didn’t have it so we went to Cineleisure. Got our tickets for the 9.40pm show and boy what a show. The show has many shock scenes and can make u jump out of your seat. The show combines horror (Ghost of course), thriller (killer) and disgust (the part when the girl’s toe bleed…the sound was disgusting. And also the part when the fat woman fell on her own vomit…yucks). I guess it’s worth the money…it’s capable of making your imaginations go wild but not to the extend of giving you nightmares..catch it if you’re into such shows. The show ended at around 11.30 and we all headed home.

Talking about today, I’m left with only $4 for lunch today..hope it’s enough..spent too much yesterday…shit. Going to part with my Phantom this evening…the new owner is coming to collect it here after my work. I hope I can collect my bike by tomorrow…

Thursday

Guess what happened today..this ang mor from Bata Toronto gave everyone in the office including me 2 rambutans each. Ang mor give ang mor tan......haha..is that a racist comment? Opps?

Going for Hani's birthday later...meeting them at far east...i think i'll be going home first...want to change and bathe and slack awhile first. So far the buyer of my Phantom haven call me yet so i guess i might not have to hand over the bike today after all. I intend to be a good guy and give him a full tank...or should i? Hmmmm...

I'm so bored now...still left with 1.5 hours...tahan!!!

I got myself a new bike!

Can you believe it? I got myself a new bike. It’ll be my last day riding the Phantom today or tomorrow. Don’t scold me don’t flame me I’m not fickle. I promise I’ll stick to this bike till I get my class 2 then I’ll upgrade to the Suzuki Burgman 650 hehe. Anyway here’s some pictures of new new baby...

I chose red colour because i find that it looks sportier hehe. Anyway sad to say byebye to my Phantom...it has served me well...Keeping me punctual for appointments, work, school etc and most importantly keeping me safe on the road. I hope my new bike can serve me as well or hopefully even better! Anyway here’s a last look at my phantom…byebye baby……HEHE

Midweek

Guess where i went yesterday after work, i went down to my bike shop to enquiry about how much will i have to top if i were to trade in my phantom for an Aprilia Atlantic. I was told i will need to come out with $1500 to push my bike back into the shop...that's ridiculous considering the $1000 downpayment i paid also...that means they bike is buying my bike back for only $2000 odd...no way. So i got myself a private buyer and might be selling soon, hope it goes through...

Didn't jog yesterday, not sure if i'll be doing it today too hehe. Met up with Sam for awhile after work because she was here to meet xiaowen and friends for some gathering. After she left to meet xiaowen i left too. I took the route at ROM there behind parkmall wanting to enter CTE, it was a very very stupid mistake. By taking that route i left the CBD area and to enter CTE via orchard i had to enter the CBD area for awhile again. I paid freaking $1 for nothing for that darn ERP.

Anyway the army sent me a letter yesterday asking me to go down 20th Nov to submit some documentation...wats up with weekdays...can't they put it on a weekend? Guess i'll just give them a call one of these days to change the date.

Have good news for everyone...more for myself actually. I started to use Kazaa again last night...downloaded a few songs. But a few new songs were screwed up...there were either distorted sounds or the song keeps repeating it's intro. Guess it's their new way of fighting piracy..apparently it's helping. I didn't get all the songs that i want but just some is enough........ : p

Hello

Went jogging again yesterday after work. Tried a new way of training taught by this guy in the bike forum. He told me to run 1 round and time myself..i did that...it was 1min 40secs. He told me to do this continously for 6 rounds resting for around 2 mins in between. And that's what i did yesterday..each round averaged 1 min 40 secs. If i can keep my pace like that for 6 rounds..i calculated total timing to be 10mins...cool..then i can get A...They also told me to eat a banana a few hours before jogging. It is supposed to help but i'm kinda lazy to go buy myself a banana everyday so i'll skip that 1st for now. Maybe only on the day of my Napfa test.

I was so bored last night i went out to clean my bike and decided i should go for a spin myself. I rode around the neighbourhood looking at other people's bike and even sat on a few hehe. It's nice riding at night because of the light traffic and also the cool fresh air. Wanted to go to the airport to look at planes but Sam didn't want to so i decided against going myself.

Work's boring today...my supervisor caught me playing solitaire today haha..die...Hope the day will get better..shall get back to work now...

Weekend's ending

Friday was the 25th month anniversary of Sam and me. I met her after work at City Hall and we went Shaw Centre's (Aka Lido) Crystal Jade to have our dinner. We wanted to catch a movie after that but just couldn't find a time slot and a nice movie. So in the end we went home after dinner.

I slept till 10+ the following day and met up with Pussy. We went to Sim Lim to tempt ourselves. In the end he bought nothing and i only bought an optical mouse, we've nearly curb this spendthrift problem of ours. I bought this microsoft mouse for $33 but i can claim back $10 from microsoft..so in the end it will cost me only $23...cheap stuff..i like! After that we went to a few shopping malls to look for my mum's birthday present. We tested the Osim products..the foot massager, back massager and of course the chair! It was super super super duper comfortable. It came complete with music and it must be one of the most enjoyable thing to do after a long day at work, school etc. I wish i could afford it...it's $5980...and this price is apparently only for this offer period. I will really want to get it for Mum, looks like i'd better wait a few more years. Met up with cheap slut aka kian after that and we walked around shopping. Wanted to catch a movie but just like the day before, we couldn't find a time slot and movie. We even got Mazi to catch Great World City for us but to no avail...all sold out.

So we went to Papa Joe beside Centrepoint to chill out and watch soccer. I ordered Mango Margarita while Puss and Kian ordered Barcadi Breezer and Hooch respectively. I felt a little dizzy after drinking a bit and decided not to finish the whole drink, so i think i was the one that jokingly suggested walking out without paying. And this was what we did! It was freaking scary at that point of time while walking away...but things became better after that. But deep inside my conscience hit me and i didn't feel good....but what the heck...who cares haha.

Planned to meet Fabien, Clarence, Senior, Gab and people at Jalan Kayu for supper at midnight because Fab just got himself a new bike...a honda SP. But we changed plans and went to Hotel Inter con instead. Before that i followed Puss to buy his new handphone from this guy at Hougang. The deal took nearly 1 hour and i got so restless i lay down on my bike and nearly fell asleep. By the time we reached Hotel Inter con it was already 1am and we chatted for around half an hour before leaving. Clarence and Gab came at the time when we were already waiting for the lift to go to the carpark..haha. But we didn't go home, we went to 1 kopitiam at Bishan to eat, drink and chit chat. By the time i got Puss home and reached home myself it was already 3.30am. What a long day.

And today (Sunday), i went to church as usual. After that we met up with Mazi and planned on going to the army market. I thought to myself since i will be passing by kian's house so why not go fetch him there on the way. He was sleeping and had to rush to meet me haha. I dropped him off at the army market and went Great world to fetch Sam. After that we met up with the rest again at Plaza Singapura. I bought this Aloe Vera juice with lime juice shit and i nearly puked! It was one of the worst drink i've ever sipped. It was so bitter my world inside collasped..apparently it's supposed to be like that. I couldn't believe Mazi actually finished it.

After that we went to Carrefour and i grabbed myself an Aloe Vera drink..i was so thirsty i opened it on the spot and started drinking...i wanted to get the bitter taste off my mouth. We walked and walked...i drank and drank...but while at the counter while paying i forgot to tell the cashier that she's supposed to scan that drink on my hand too! I only realised after we got out and Sam reminded me. I didn't bother going back to tell them. After awhile this staff came to us and asked if we paid for that aloe vera drink on my hand. We showed them the receipt which showed payment for 2 aloe vera drink and he said ok. HAHA! In fact we took 3 bottles and the one in my hand is one of them! OPPS I DID IT AGAIN! Not sure if they realised it after that but shopping became uncomfortable after that. But then again...who cares right. HAHA

Fri

Resumed jogging after work yesterday, i just can't believe it..my timing still remained at 12 minutes...how to improve by Sunday? Die lah...Anyway there was a women touch rugby tournament going on yesterday, the semi finals were between Raffles JC, St Andrews JC, Singapore American School and Singapore French school. The other JCs were eliminated..not sure how many took part but I saw Pioneer JC and Nanyang. Looking at them reminds me of my time in JC, how much I enjoyed those days, excluding the studies of course. It was especially fun in CJC and I think it's the of my most enjoyable schooling days of my life. We used to escape after recess to go Orchard together, play soccer, gather in class or the canteen to chit chat and poke fun at teachers. A pity it was a short 3 mths and my darn form teacher that time pissed me off so much that I refused to stay at CJC...all her darn fault. I can't remember what I did, but she called my mummy up and complained, what's up with that? Oh..i think it's because I missed too many lessons, but come on..it's the first 3 mths..i haven't had enough rest after the big Os and I wanted to have fun haha. In the end, I chose SAJC and I have to say it's one of the worse decision of my life. Although I did have fun there, I wasted 1 year of my life and while friends are getting out of army soon, I've yet to enter.

Shall not look back. Anyway after dinner I went on to fetch Sam to her auntie's place. On our way there past Geylang, we saw Henry...what coincidence. But we were on the road so we didn't stop. We also went Geylang Serai with nicole and walked around. It sure was crowded and I felt like I was in Malaysia haha. Anyway I think it's the first time in my life that I've been there and it sure was a new experience. I rode nicole's bicyle, it was really really really small, I'm sure people around were laughing inside...but who cares...at least I don't hehe.

We bought Putu Piring home, it was brown sugar wrapped with flour..something like the chinese's Kuei Tutu. I don't really like the Putu Piring but apparently Nicole love it. Played nicole's Pokemon monopoly, not really fun since they played with their own rule.

Finally it's Friday and it just feels good. Have lots of projects to hand in next year but I don't want to worry about those right now hehe.

THURS

Didn't jog yesterday...it was raining in the evening...and i still can't find my shoe covers..luckily my shoes didn't get wet. Went out after dinner to return VCDs i borrowed on friday.

This morning while riding to work, this Traffic police bike was riding alongside me for quite a distance...he's a real presence on the road..instilling fear into motorist's heart and force them to slow down. It was stressful riding with him but since i'm on a Phantom they don't usually bother to take a second look at you. You'll get extra attention however if you're on a sportsbike. You will have to ride real carefully and slowly or prepare to see the signal to stop over. Sportsbike also gets more attention during roadblocks..i'm glad i didn't get one..but that doesn't mean i won't get one wahaha.

This delivery man came to Bata today and guess what he asked me?

Him: "Are you from China?"
Me: "No"
Him: "Hong Kong?"
Me: "Nope"
Him: "Haha have anyone ask you these questions before?"
Me: "Haha no lah"

Do i really look like a Chinaman? That's an insult to me...coz i don't like Chinamen wahahaha. Don't like the way they speak, look, behave etc etc. HEHE.

Looking at the dark sky now..i think it's inevitable that it'll rain again this evening...wassup man...give me a break..

WED

I went jogging again last night, can’t believe it, my timing was 12mins again. I think Gold for Napfa is quite impossible now. Running 6 rounds is a short torture for me. I get all breathless and tired whenever running, and I will wish it’d be over soon.

My colleague just told me that Mr Bata would be coming to Singapore again for some major meeting. I don’t really care. Anyway I will be buying a pair of shoes from Bata before leaving, saw one pair I liked that day, shall buy it soon.

I went to eat Bhar chor mee at Amk’s S11 last night myself. Wanted to drink bubble tea too but they didn’t have pearls so I didn’t buy. I went home after that and watched infernal affairs 1…nice show…catch it if you haven.

Bored at work now as usual…

Tuesday

Although the reason of us going to orchard last night was to take a peep at the subaru impreza challenge, but an unexpected calamity befallen and they didn’t catch it. After rain cross sky calm…we left orchard at around 12+am...me and Sam went on and stopped by the road along orchard to take a quick look at the subaru impreza challenge. When we were there, 5 ppl were left and i think 2 were girls. Amazing women....very strong mentally and physically. They look quite pitiful compared to Jamie Yeo and Mark Richmond who were sitting comfortably on couches nearby. Although it was 12.30am, it was pretty packed there...mostly kaypos and probably friends and relatives of the contestants were there. It didn't feel like 12.30am on a Tuesday morning...a lot of skaters were still skating at the youth park...Singapore is just full of fortunate people...unlike me..i have to suffer in the office.

Actually i'm feeling good being in the office now...i just came back from Bata's warehouse in Tanjong Pagar Distripark. It was hot, stuffy, dirty, dusty etc etc..i spent my morning there and it was terrible...i sweat a lot..collected lots of dust and is aching all over carrying the old POS machines. Luckily the staffs there were friendly and helpful..a few uncles helped me and made my job easier.

I was there to clean off classified information from Bata’s old POS system. The machines were stacked up on pellets it’s quite heavy..i’m glad that I need not carry all 39 boxes of them…thank you uncles haha.

Oh ya there were 2 other TP students attached to Bata and they are working in the warehouse. I feel so fortunate..their job seems laborious, they were carrying boxes here and there. The only fun thing about working in the warehouse for me is the opportunity to drive the forklift I guess…but I doubt they will let me. I’m glad I’m back at my cosy air-conditioned office. I wish I had a bed…no bed also can…a mattress or sofa will do just fine…heeeeeeeeeee

8 more weeks left!

Yesterday was Henry's birthday. We went to Fish & co at Tampines Mall to eat. The staffs there even sang him their own birthday song....freaking funny...I think it was kinda embarrassing both for us and them, but we were giggling all the way.

I need to go down to the warehouse today...and i'm dressed in formal clothing..i forgot that they told me to dress down. Don't care lah...

Guess what...i lost my shoe cover. The cover i went rounds and rounds just to find if you remembered. Darn...i just can't remember where i left it...or was it stolen? Sigh......I'm so sleepy now....slept late last night...i want to sleep........

GIVE ME YOUR ATTENTION!

Good afternoon ladies and gentlemen…can I do a short poll on myself? Am I an easier person to talk to online than face to face? Please leave your answer in my comment box below…just YES or NO will do…additional comments are welcomed though!

Friendster

Friendster suck big time. It's lagging like SHIT. It's getting from bad to worse. I hate going to the site now...although the idea of it is good and i did find some long lost friends, they don't have a good enough server to support this freaking big database. Or is it friendster's tactic of getting us to pay for subscription?

In conclusion, friendster sucks till they do something about their network. I’ve tried www.myspace.com and it’s equally as laggy. So what’s the point………

What a freaking freaking freaking long day!! (NC-16)

My gosh you will never believe what a sunday i had...it all started in the afternoon actually. In the morning i went with my family to visit my father's grave..it was All-souls day and we went to clean his grave. It has been a long time since i went there..really feeling unfilial. Anyway the catholic cemetery was freaking pack and it was really difficult to drive there..my sister's bf drove us there. We dropped by Clementi for a bite and then headed home. I took a short nap before Bernerd came to fetch me..he wanted to show me this marketing company that i can earn some extra money.

The company was located in Eunos and i was pretty skeptical of it all the way. He refused to tell me what the company was, what they sell and what i'm supposed to do. We reached at around 3pm and sat at the coffeeshop beside the building while waiting for his friend to come. Parking in between the building and the coffeeshop were lots of BMWs, SLK, CLK etc etc supposingly all owned by employees of the company. People as young as 19-21 owned cars of their own and supposingly paid for it themselves. In my mind i was thinking: "What the hell? Is this for real?" I felt that this was a con company and i believe i'm right.

Ok here's how the "marketing plan" works. There a 7 levels of distributions rights.

1. Ordinary Distributor
2. Trainee Distributor
3. Direct Distributor
4. C??? Distributor (Shit i forgot what is stands for)
5. Executive Distributor
6. District Manager
7. Senior District Manager

Each level had their own deserved percentage of commission and there's a link between some. For example, if Bernerd brings me in and i make a sale, Bernerd is entitled a small percentage of commission based on my sale. And if you have a really good record of sales, you are also entitled to a car incentive program where the company will let you choose a car model of your choice..pay the downpayment and give you a fixed sum of car funds to pay for installments, parking, petrol etc.

Everyone i spoke to today boasted about cars that they can own within 1 year...i wasn't impressed. Anyway at around 4pm, this senior distribution manager gave us a talk. He was a good speaker and had a pinch of humour in him. He explained clearly what the company does and how they multi-marketing shit works. I started to have a slightly positive thinking towards this shit...but not for long!

After the talk we waited while this other guy came to explain to me about the company's product. It was a magnetic quilt and supposingly can prevent cancer, high blood pressure, heart diseases, strokes etc etc. They even had ISO, doctor's certifications and customers' testimonial to prove it. The only turn off point is actually the price. One quilt for a single bed costed a $1500, a queen size $2300 while a King size costs $2700. What the shit right? From what i observed, they quilts are poorly made and was actually nothing special. Threads were coming out and the material was nothing extraordinary. It looks more like a product from China..but when i enquired..i was told it's made in USA (YA RIGHT I wasn't born yesterday).

However, i was seriously thinking of getting one for my mum....very seriously thinking. I wanted a week to consider...but they wouldn't allow it! They persuaded me for 3 whole damn hours that i it will be better that i got it tonight! Fuck! From becoming a potential salesman of theirs i became their potential customer! Fuck off! I told them i needed to consider but guessed how they responded.

SUMMARY
Them: "What are you still thinking about? What's in your mind now? Why are you still considering?"
Me: "I need to discuss this with my mum..morever i don't have that much money."
Them: "Frankly are you seriously thinking about getting it for your mum? Aren't you big enough to make your own decision? How much can you come out first? Don't tell your mum...she will surely discourage you from spending so much money."
Me: "Yes i'm seriously thinking of getting but i need 1 week to let me consider and probably raise more cash."
Them: "What are you still thinking about? Do you know that a lot of things can happen in 1 week? Touch wood something might just happen to your mum within this 1 week and you don't want to live to regret not getting it for her today right? Morever you can earn a lot of money within this 1 week!"
Me (in my heart): Fuck off don't curse my mum. And fuck off again...like real 1 week is a lot of time. You guys are just desperate for business.

Anyway they went on and on about how important this 1 week was until i got damn pek chek! I couldn't get rid of them! I wanted so much to just walk off but decided not to for fear of making bernerd embarrassed. By the time they finished it was already over 9.30pm...was there for more than 6 hours! What a waste of my time! Now they really ruined my sunday..from seriously thinking of buying...it became "don't crap anymore..i won't believe a word you say anymore". A customer will eventually come back and buy if the product is really that good...morever why must you fucking force me to buy tonight?! Not even 1 week of consideration?! Get outta here!

Sorry bernerd but i don't think i'm going back there again. The product is just too suspicious to even consider it. And i guess it's too late for me to dissuade you as you've already bought one from them. But since your parents like it i guess it's money well spent. Just be careful now, don't easily be persuaded to buy anything again...they are just blood suckers that is successful because they get business from people like us!

I don't believe something so wonderful in this world exist, such shortcuts to riches rarely last. If this is the way i'm going to get my car, i rather stick to my bike. Morever i don't think i can ever get along with the people there. They were mostly either foreigners from China, Malaysia etc or local ex-bengs...hate them.

What a freaking Sunday, i rather work in BATA! Oh ya and did i mention? Today is the first day that i didn't ride since i got my bike. Miss riding it...see you tomorrow morning darling...HEHEHEHEHE

What a saturday?

Sam stayed over at my house because her parents went for a cruise. So i had to wake up early to send her to work. After dropping her at her workplace..i went to Yio Chu Kang Stadium for my morning jog and excercise...improved by 50secs today...my 2.4 run was 12mins...dammit...i'm still considered damn unfit. Will strive harder! After excercise i went to Macdonalds to eat breakfast alone and read papers...felt quite good...it has been a long time since i've done that. I know you people are going to call me ah pek or what...but what the hell...it's quite enjoyable..peaceful and quiet moment all to myself.

After resting awhile at home..i went to fetch sam from work. We went to Chinatown to book our tour and pay the deposit. 1 of the places i hate to go in Singapore is Chinatown..i don't know why..but i just don't like going there. Anyway our tour will be on the 29th Dec and it will be 5days 4 nights...we extended 1 night for merely $20..not too bad a deal right? If you guys ever want to go on a holiday please check out B1 of People's Park Complex...there are loads and loads of travel agencies...all side by side...you will have a hard time differentiating them.

My colleague's wedding dinner is tonight and i was late hehe. Reached there at 8pm when i was supposed to be there by 7.30pm. But as usual the dinner didn't start at 7.30pm sharp and it wasn't significant that i was late. I was put onto a table of all females. They are a talkative, humourous and horny bunch! If you've seen what they did today you will laugh the crap out of your butt. They took 2 black mushrooms and one sea cucumber and placed them together in the shape of a penis...that's not all...they added some hair-like crackers to complete it...last but not least they dipped a little bit of honey dew milk onto the tip so that it looks like semen! WAHAHA now that's madness..but it's not all. Then they took 2 prawns (breast)..placed nuts on it (nipples)..a piece of mushroom (cunt)...and of coz not forgetting the "pubic hair" and honey dew milk! Anyway this bunch of mad women did it for a reason...they wanted to tease the newly wed couples. The guy had to eat the female organs on the plate. After that it was the bride's turn to eat. The groom sporting put the "penis" in front of his pants and stand on chair while the bride was supposed to eat it. That part was a big hype and everyone was laughing like mad. Then the bride's mum appeared and scolded the bride for doing that...after that everyone kept quiet and walked away haha. Throughout the dinner i was also not spared...they will tease me here and there..talking dirty and all. Then they will go: "control ah....don't go to the toilet ah..or else we know...HAHA"...then this woman sitting beside me will then check if mine's standing....hahaha I guess all woman will reach such a stage when they get really open about such things yeah. I was fine with everything..easy..laughing along the way..i even joined them for a drink after the dinner at some pub behind Papa Joe near centrepoint. Out of the 7 woman i joined, 3 of them drove...i was pretty amazed...they're only in their early 20s i guess. Anyway i was pretty bored while drinking with them...all they rattled was office politics...nothing i knew about since i'm always in my small little room of mine. I was so relieved when they finally decided to leave after 2 hours...i just got home and i'm sleepy. Oh ya did i mention that i forgot to give the Ang Bao to the newly wed? Can't blame me...it's the first wedding i've attended without my family around and i don't really know what to do. Do i give them the Ang Bao before or after the dinner?

Going to Borneo Motors tomorrow to ask questions on our FYP projects. Need to wake up early again...shall go take a rest now..good night
