Visited Tung Lok's Noble House with Mum, Aunt, Sis and Kok Bin last week. Its located at UIC building down at Shenton Way, a pretty "Lok Kok" building. The restaurant also turned out to rather old fashion and run down. Like Puss mentioned, its an irony that Humble House down at Esplanade is the more expensive and classier branch of Tung Lok while Noble House isn't exactly done up to cater for the nobles' dining.
Yup I mean really "Lol Kok". This is the lift at the UIC building.
Its a chinese food ala carte buffet place, pretty much like the one down at Si Chuan Tou Hua restaurant, only much cheaper ($28+++ vs $45+++). There is a good variety of dishes available for order on the buffet menu, and yes i'm guilty of overeating again! Oh it was rather awkward that day as well, because the restaurant was hosting a wedding dinner. But they had a small section separated for other diners as well, which was where we were allocated our seats. We listened in to their announcements, yum sengs and also peeked at their wedding video.
Shark Fins Soup. They serve this only once. The price of the buffet all depends on what kind of soup you order.
The more expensive option will be this Buddha Jump over the wall soup, which taste somewhat like chicken soup really
They even had chilli crabs!
Complete with buns for dipping
Meat platter
Peking Duck
Oat Prawns
Venison Meat
Salmon Sashimi!
Soft Shell crabs
Steamed Sea Bass. We ordered 3 of these lol.
Pigeon soup
Chinese Wine prawns
Some prawn omelette
Honey Dew Sago
Mango Pudding
Herbal Jelly
Damn we really did order a lot didn't we? Here's the last one. I don't really remember this but I think its red bean soup
2 very satisfied customers
