Sunset Way

I never knew this place existed until sis recommended that we dine there last wednesday. My sis had just sent in her car that day for servicing so she wanted to borrow my car. And since i was to have school that day, we had dinner first before she fetched me to school.

Anyway Sunset Way was like a mini Holland Village, complete with a pub, foreign gourmets and some interesting restaurants. Its located just in between Clementi and my school.

We walked around for awhile before we settled for this small buffet restaurant called the Fortune Cuisine. What drew us was the sashimi on display...i'm still a sucker for sashimi after all these years...who isn't?

It was great..with good service, reasonable pricing, a nice variety of food and tasty cookfood. The best thing was when we got there, there weren't many customers except for us. And that means that the waitresses were particularly attentive to us and we can have almost all the buffet food (esp sashimi) all to ourselves! Wooh!

Don't we all just love this? No wonder Jesus gave fishes to his people

They cooked for us too

The desserts were reasonable for a small place like that

Kinda satisfied!

Watched 2 movies over the weekend. First was Definitely Maybe, which was alright. A typical love story...won't make you go gooey and all nor will it make you laugh till you cry...but its okay.

Next up was An Empress and the Warriors. It was terrible..as compared to 3 Kingdoms. There were few fighting scenes and the story was unrealistic and not intriguing. Kelly Chen was gorgeous but irritating in the movie. A girl like her just don't belong in a period show like that..her face is way too modern lah!
