Work hard play hard study hard!

This will be my 350th post ever since i started this blog more than 3 years ago. Quite an achievement i must say, if you've ever blogged yourself, you will understand what i mean. Its not easy typing so much and telling people so much about yourself online, you need to overcome laziness too. It can take nearly half an hour to an hour to type a long post just like this you know..you need to plan, recall, type and then edit..just like what you learn in school on writing a good composition! Ok lah actually i don't really read back and edit..like i said..laziness..so if there are spelling mistakes, missing words or sentences with no meaning..don't blame me!

Anyway this weekend has been somewhat eventful again, i'm a person that treasures my weekends a lot and believe in not wasting them away! Anyway i'll be using my upcoming weekends for studying next week onwards, i really want to score well for my exams and prove to people that my O-level results was no fluke lol.

Met up with Bernerd and Puss for dinner on friday night. I suggested being heartlandish that day and we ended up at Ang Mo Kio Central, a place we haven been to for ages although i don't live very far from there. We ate steamboat at a coffeeshop there at $10 per pax...it wasn't bad..we managed to make the soup tasty haha.

After dinner, we went to watch Singapore Dreaming where we met up with Ethan. The show is about a typical singapore family whom favours the son over the daughter. But the son turn out to be a failure in life although they saved and sent him to America for studies. The dad striked a $2 million Toto draw one day but died of a heart attack a few days later...typical story you might say lol. Aiya don't want to elaborate too much..go watch the show yourself.



After the show, we went to Butter Factory. In case you nerds were wondering..we didn't go there to see how butter is manufactured...its a club lah! Puss and Ethan's friend was celebrating his birthday there and they managed to get in free without having to queue. Although they managed to get my name on the guest list too, we couldn't leave Bernerd behind alone. So poor Bernerd and i had to join the crowd and queue..and guess what..we managed to get in only after 45 mins! Tmd i never queued so long for a club before..not even Zouk lah. The club is pretty small..their house beer is Asahi..but it taste just like Tiger. They played R&B all night and its the first time i've been to a club where there seem to be more girls than guys! P.S oh the door girl is really hot too. After clubbing, we fetched Ethan home before they decided to go to Jalan Kayu for supper. By that time i was really high plus tired so i slept throughout...by the time i woke up...i was at jalan kayu and then home lol.

I spent my whole saturday morning and afternoon sleeping and recouperating. The evening was the highlight. I went out for dinner with my mum, sister and Kok Bin. We ate at this North Indian Restaurant at Swissotel called Shahi Maharani. Because of the IMF shit, before we could get into the Swissotel area, we had to be scanned and our bags searched, so scary right.

After dinner, mummy and i went for our Forbidden City musical while my sis went to walk around with Kok Bin. Forbidden City was good, and i now recall that i've indeed watched it before...lol. The setting, the stage, the music, the artistes...everything was good...its not too late to catch it..you have till the last performance on the 30th September..do it before Kit Chan retires! Her voice is angelic! You're currently listening to one of the song by her from the musical! Hehe.



Went for my Terry Fox Run this morning..although its only 9km..its quite tiring. Morever, it was raining all throughout the run and my shoes are all wet and soggy. Nevertheless, it was a good run. Will be going out to play mj later..till i blog again!
