Double Marathon

Took part in 2 marathons over the week. The first was a movie marathon on Friday, Madagascar marathon to be exact. It was kind of a mistake because channel 5 showed Madagascar 1 just a week earlier! But it was nice watching both one after the other because both movies were closely connected. You might not get some parts of Madagascar 2 if you didn't watch Madagascar 1. It was a great movie, funny and cute..one of my all time favourite animation film.

After the movie marathon, I had yet another crazy night of clubbing. This time to celebrate my OC's birthday. I've no idea how much I drank that day but I was super high. I even puked in Phuture, something I've never done b4. It was embarrassing alright. In the end, Horsey, Chermaine and Heloise had to insist on sending me home...the first time someone had to send me home after a drinking session lol.

The second Marathon came in the form of the Swissotel vertical marathon! It was my second time taking part in it and I enjoyed myself thoroughly. I found it less tiring than 2006 this year, probably because I was already mentally prepared. It was more of a torture in 2006 because I was rather taken aback by the physical torture of climbing those steps, I ended up mumbling to myself half the time and complaining to every participants that overtook me lol.

Found a new Japanese buffet restaurant in Riverview Hotel call Irodori Restaurant upon recommendation by Pek and went to try it last week with Mum, Sis and Annabel. I thought it was great, the sashimi was thick and fresh. Everything else was pretty decent too. I had a hell of a meal, too much in fact lol. Its around $33++ per head, definitely worth it if you're keen for some japanese food..sashimi in particular!
