Finally found the time to make an effort to blog lol

Haha that just didn't sound right didn't it? Well i certainly made full use of my break after wallaby the past few days. Been waking up early, sleeping late and going out. Just last sunday, helped my cousin with his wedding by being one of the chauffeurs that day. Had to wake up at 6am in the morning and be at his place by 7am. There was a convey of cars and i had a hard time catching the bridal car which was going so fast! Lol. Had to drive some of his wife's cousins around following wherever the newly wed couple goes. Went to central mall and also in front of supreme court there for photo taking. The photographer was a really humourous guy..many of us took his name card so that we can hire him again for our wedding next time lol. Would love to post some of the photos here but i dun have the pictures right now..maybe next time!

Then on tuesday..i woke up at 6am again because i had to be at the airport at 6.30am to fetch sam! Haha as usual i was smart and didn't wake up on time because as u know..there will always be delays and unaccurate timing on sam's part..i reached at around 7.15am..as expected she was late and we didn't leave the airport until 7.45am. Fetched her home and didn't sleep! We went for breakfast at bugis first...had some nice pork porridge and ordinary tasting prawn noodles. After that i sent my car to paya ubi there because i wanted to install bodykit for my car...now my car has a new look..will try to post pictures next time! After collecting my car..we went to shenton way to meet mingli and xiaowen for lunch to celebrate the latter's upcoming birthday. Guess what happened...first i went past the erp gantry without my cashcard...byebye $10+! Then i parked at internatinal building which cost $2 per half hour! i literally used up all the value in my cash card in one day that day..sob..Then one more thing..the place we had lunch in..amara hotel's element restaurant had really bad service. We had to wait 30 minutes for our orders..i was famished sitting there waiting...They later apologized by offering fruits and orange juice on the house..but it didn't really work...maybe a room for a night there will haha.

Woke up reasonably early today as well to send sam for her basic theory trial test at comfort driving centre. Then we went to tampines mall to catch Harry Potter and the goblet of fire..i must comment that the show is quite good..definitely more exciting and more interesting than the previous episodes. Ok i know i know..u all might have already caught the movie long before this post..but i just came back mah..........



Then we met my mum, sis, kok bin and sam's bro for dinner at honjin japanese restaurant somewhere in shenton way...(ya shenton way again). Because they had this 1 for 1 offer for UOB card holders..$48 for 2 persons all u can eat jap buffet. The sashimi was alright..but the service sucked again..had to wait ages for everything. And i spilled kikoman sauce on my jeans when i was signing for the bill..haha ok this was my fault. And guess what..the car park cost me a bomb again...don't ever drive to shenton way and park again!

I'm back!

I'm finally back from the awful, hot, dry and boring terrains of australia! I've been there for 25 days..but it felt like almost a year. Haven seen sam for ages now! Here i am back in singapore but she's away at South africa! Sigh.

Life there was boring..but the meals were acceptable...better than the food in my camp i must say. Brought A$200 but came back with A$100 haha. And most of the money was spent in the canteen..one plate of chips can cost A$2 and one can of coke $1.50. The only cheap thing there was the beer..the same price as a can of coke.

Spent my R&R period in rockhampton town, was lucky enough to be given a single room at Central Queensland University as accomodation..all the regulars got it actually haha. The rest of them were put up in twin rooms in other motels far away from us. We regulars were allowed to do anything we like during this period..which means free and easy. The NSFs were forced to join a heritage tour.

Me and 2 other friends rented a car to travel around and it was quite fun i must say. We drove at night on dark roads and explored the small little town...frankly there really wasn't anything much to see at all. They didn't have a proper famous brand boutique there..not even Levis or Polo Ralph or anything...nothing...just a KMart and some other small shops. Now you know why i didn't spent much during my R&R period.

But i did watch a movie there..cost me A$13.50...ridiculous right? But its alright...just an experience..and for killing time..coz there wasn't anything else to do haha. Watched Saw 2..the sequel to Saw...interesting and thrilling plot to the show...and i must mention that the director and script writer are both very psychotic and imaginative sadists haha.

Been away for so long that i really don't know the latest news around. But my sister did tell me that Wong Li lin is 5 months pregnant again...they can really keep it going i must say haha. Its my cousin's wedding tomorrow...have to wake up really early because i've been assigned to drive them around lol.
