Post birthday treat

Met up with Sham on Sunday night to watch the movie both of us had wanted to watch so badly. Yes its the movie 300. Well...i must say that it was kinda disappointing..it didn't turn out to be as good as i have imagined it to be. The whole show was made for women or gays to admire the actors' nice toned bodies. I'm not someone that enjoys admiring another man's body..thats because i'm a man myself! However, i did enjoy the few scenes where the women in the movie appeared nude too haha. I would have loved the movie better if the soldiers wore nice cool armours to battle, but unfortunately they didn't. The dialogues in the movie were witless half the time, the show made the people from that era all sound like himbos..the scriptwriters obviously didn't put in much effort. The show did however induce me to read up more about this battle from wikipedia. I found out from there that the show was pretty accurate except for the fact that the soldiers didn't fight half naked. Watch the show if you're a history fan, don't watch it if you're someone that dislikes imbecilic conversations.



Celebrated my birthday a second time on Monday, this time with my family. We went to East Coast Park. We dined at one of the many seafood places there..this one call Fisherman's Village. Had lots of seafood including a plate of nice chilli crabs. All my life, I've always who has been conscious about consuming crab's eggs even though many people has testified that its delicious. The reason is because of my mum. She's always nagging and telling me how much cholesterol those eggs contain and how bad it is for health..so i don't really eat a lot of it. But i had quite a lot of it that day because both the crabs we ordered were female! I had better start running to lose all those cholesterol thats in me now!

Had to wake up at 3.45am this morning to fetch my sis to the airport. She flew off to Cambodia's Siam Reap this morning for a vacation with her secondary school friends. How i envy her, i long for a holiday myself too!
