I strike 4D today!

Haha remember the last time i striked Toto? Seem so long ago right..today i striked 4D..it was really lucky how i arrived at the 4 digits. I was driving along SLE on the way home and there's this toyota corolla in front of me with number plate 7832...then i looked to my left and this vehicle's number plate was 2873..i looked in front of that vehicle and its number plate was 8372...i took in as a sign! 3 vehicles with similar number plates all at the same place and the same time! I decided to buy the 4 digits 24 permutations. Sat was unlucky..i got 3 digits for 4 of the prizes..but luckily i covered back today..striked consolation haha..$60...not too bad lah ah...first time in my life i strike 4D hehe.

Won't be going back to sungei gedong tomorrow..will be attached to stagmont for 1 week hehe. Won't be seeing ppl that i don't like for a week hehe. Will be having my kit bag inspection this coming friday..the aussies are really fussy about what will be going to their land..we have to make sure everything is dust free etc..haii.

Oh somehow the unit anniversary was enjoyable. Played frisbee and soccer..my frisbee team played 1 match and lost and there wasn't any other game for us haha. But i did play soccer till my legs went numb. I even got cut at the toe..but it was fun! There are many people in my unit that can really play well...we can really form a good team i must say. After soccer, we went back to the chalet to prepare for the BBQ and wash up..guess where we washed up..the swimming pool there! Haha i didn't prepare extra underwear to bring there but i still went to swim. Of course i didn't go underwearless lah! Haha me and a few other friends went to Cheers and got ourselves a pair each..haha Crocodile brand. After BBQ, some of us stayed to play Ban Luck and i won $20 over dollars! Anyone that played banker that day lost like shit wahaha..it was really a bad day to be banker. Luckily i didn't give in to their pressure to be banker!

I went home after that and slept only for awhile because i had to wake up early the next morning to fetch sam from the airport! Reached the airport at around 8am fetched her and one other colleague back. Slept for awhile at her place but was forced by her to go for breakfast. Had brunch at parkway parade where we tried the parkway thai restaurant..it was buffet but i didn't eat much because i'm not really a thai food fan haha. Went home straight after brunch where we slept the whole damn afternoon wahaha. Went to watch movie that day..haha yes movie again. It was flightplan this time and it was pretty entertaining..exciting at times. Eh no other comments on it wahaha..actually i'm lazy lah..going to shower now!

Why am i at home?!

Haha no lah today is my unit's anniversary day and we got the first half of the day off. Will be going down to pasir ris coasta sands resorts later for the celebration...hope i enjoy myself haha.

Met up with henry and sham yesterday. Had pepper lunch for dinner (haha ok it sounds weird) and it tasted better than the last time i had it with sam, meiwen and chelsia. Maybe because i ordered another dish..try the chicken and beef combo..its pretty good. After that we went to watch Goal!..persuaded them so hard before they went to watch the movie..amazing right..considering they are soccer fans themselves too. They would rather watch into the blues which i will miss anyday..the show is just for us to see Jessica Alba thats all i think..nothing spectacular about the storyline. Goal! on the other hand was alright..the story about how a poor mexican boy rose up to be a first team english premiership soccer player. Its inspiring but definitely not for us singaporeans to follow haha. Oh its a trilogy..he gets to go to Real Madrid FC in the next sequel...cool eh.

Oh and guess what..there's this really good offer for you people if you decide to watch a movie from monday to thursday. The cafe there is selling ice creams at a 1 for 1 offer..thats means $3.50 for 2 scoops..and guess whats the best part of it..you get to buy movie vouchers at $6.00 each with any purchase there..you can buy as many vouchers as you like..valid from monday to thursday..any movie you like! No catch! How good is that man..not only did we save $1.50 each for our tickets yesterday..we even got to enjoy a scoop of ice cream..sweet!



Just went for my first servicing for the car..waited 2 hours there man..and cost me $409! Because i did this anti rusting thing for the bottom of the car..hehe..but it has a 10 yrs warranty and regular checks for it..guess its worth it haha.

The puss is older!

Had the chance to book out early yesterday because of the armour wospec evening dinner that took place yesterday at the neptunes. I didn't know where the place was at first and had to call puss to help me find out..i told him to look neptune courts for me at first but it turned out to be a condo at marine parade or something. He then told me that there's this the neptunes near clifford pier. I decided to try my luck and it turned out correctly fortunately haha. Oh i didn't mention..this dumb dinner cost me $70...its ridiculous..i could have eaten at equinox or something wahaha. The food turn out to be the normal chinese restaurant 10 course meal type. First up was an opening address by the formation RSM and a short video clip. Then the Mccee made us play games..he's quite a funny guy..made me laugh quite a bit haha. There were then performances by the neptune dancers...even topless ones haha..but its so damn boring i left early.

I then went on to meet Sam, puss and the rest because its puss's birthday. Puss treated the rest to Ding Tai Feng. Bought me a cold and sticky pork chop too haha. We then decided to watch a movie and they bought 40 years old virgin at 12.15am...which means we have more than 2 hours to waste. We then fetched Meiwen to City Hall to meet her sister for clubbing and we went on to the cafe called Timbre at Ford Canning to chill out..it turned out to be a really nice cosy place with a live band singing. Anyway 40 years old virgin turned out to be a really funny show...definitely worth the money to laugh if you're feeling down lol. Its a boring day today..sam is flying and i've no one to go out with now. Meeting puss and cheap slut for another round of birthday dinner again later haha.

Good day!

Had a good day in camp today..for once! It was practically very relaxing and carefree..the bosses were all not around and the rats came out to play...haha i'm not the rat lah. After last parade, we went to play soccer...feels so good exercising after not doing any shit for a long time. But then i drove home sweaty and all..didn't like it haha.

After i reached home..i went up to get a pail and went to the multi-storey carpark opp my house to wash and wax my car. Woah i swear its damn tiring..my arms feel so "used" now haha. Now i know why people hire the bangladeshi to wash their cars for them haha.

Oh went to watch "Wait till you're older" yesterday with Sam and my mum. Its a terrific show..special storyline and very touching. Go catch it if you can! Cheers!

Marksman!

I earned my marksmanship badge today! Fired 24 shots and got 22..but thats only after getting a 2nd try haha. The first time i tried..i only got 16 and its 20 for marksmanship. Will get to sew on the badge on my uniform but won't get any money coz this ACS doesn't have any money incentives sob sob.

Reached home around 4.45pm after the shoot today and it felt good..i just had a wonderful afternoon nap..something i haven got to enjoy for a long time now haha. Will be going to watch a movie later! Probably wait till you're older by Andy Lau.

Will be going to tekong for dunno what next monday and to australia at the end of this month. I must say i'm actually looking forward to these 2 trips haha..good luck to me!

Bought a Honda Jazz!

I've been wanting to update since last week but just didn't have the mood and time to haha. But not to worry here i am posting again..i will try my best to recall and blog down my happenings for the past week till today.

Last saturday, i experienced a turning point of my life. I received my first car of my life. I must say it wasn't easy making the decision on which car to buy. I didn't blog about this but i spent the month before that going to almost every showroom in singapore to look at and test drive the different models..it was fun haha. In the end i finally settled on the Honda Jazz. Reason being its small, its affordable, its nice and its fuel consumption is reputably good. It sure feels darn good to own a car and the feeling of sitting in it and driving it is good. The smell of the new car excites me and makes me never want to leave it haha. Ok i sound like the guy in Dukes of Hazzards haha. In that show he named his car General..what should i name mine? Sergeant? Haha. Anyway here's a picture of the model.



Anyway that Sunday we celebrated Sham's birthday. Spent the morning shopping for his present at Bugis Junction and the girls started walking around to shop as usual haha. After that we decided that we wanted to eat steamboat..as some of you may know..there's no lack of steamboat at Bugis. I thought that we settled for the famous 7 storeys steamboat but in the end they told me its something else. Haha and before that i told wayniest to wait at the 7 storeys steamboat which he did and got lost haha. There was so much food that day that we had to play games to forfeit someone to finish up the food haha. And there was this disgusting cow's stomach dish that we described as "mucus" and "digested grass" which we were forfeited to eat too...it really stank..i ate one haha...oh or rather i tasted it..i secretly spat it out when nobody was looking wahahha.

During the week, my unit had a RSM assumption ceremony...hmmm wait a minute its not worth talking about my unit at all..ok next.

Hmm let's see..what else did i do during the week...basically nothing much i guess haha. I'm interested in getting a new phone...its about time my lok kok 5100 rest in peace. I'm looking actively for its replacement the 5140..anyone knows where to find it?

FRIDAY!

Hehe sam scolded me for revealing on my blog about the diamond ring. But its true and everything you read here is from my heart...hehe.

Its finally friday..friday night..my favourite part of the week...there's no work tomorrow and i can sleep late. No more worries and starting of the new week is still far away. Will be meeting sam later for dinner and probably mahjong haha. I want to catch another...feel like watching Be With Me...wonder if anyone of you watched it and any comments on it?

I'm getting real lazy nowadays...i don't even know what else to type now..haha..have a good weekend my friends.

The awakening

Well well 2 months since my last post..the duration just gets longer don't it haha. But ok i'm still the same old ah nick..nothing much as changed since..my unit is still as fucked up and the people there are just as unhelpful too haha. I was just told that my application for leave from the 17th - 21st oct has been rejected because i'm taking too many days together..wth..i just want the 5 days straight so that i can go for a holiday with sam. She has a complimentary ticket from her company so we want to make use of it. Now my PC promise me that there'll be another period in december for me to clear my leave..hope they don't trick me again..or else i'll get really mad and xiaoville's theme song won't be so smoothing anymore hahaha.

Spent the last weekend fruitfully by celebrating sam's birthday. She got herself a room at Ritz Carlton..had a great time there. I made full use of their facilities..the jacuzzi, the steam bath, the swimming pool, the sauna etc etc haha. My time there will be what i call life. Had to wake up early on Sunday morning though because of the dumb AHM. Good thing is the gathering point was at the padang field...which is pretty damn near to ritz carlton. Meeting time was 0730hrs and i get to wake up at 0700hrs..haha isn't that just shiok. Anyway i got sam a bigger diamond ring for her birthday. She has been complaining about the small diamond ring i bought for her 2 years ago with my hard earned savings. This time i got her a much bigger one to shut her complains haha..i hope i won't hear anymore demands for the next few decades wahaha..but glad that she likes it...really did cost me a bomb.

Oh haven posted movie reviews for the longest time now. Let's see..the last movie i watched was The Longest Yard. Great show i must saw...funny, entertaining and emotional..go watch it..there's a few WWE stars for you to laugh at too haha.

YES ITS THEM AGAIN

Ho it has been 2 weeks since my blog got updated. Here's a complaint..yes nothing good about my unit again.

This past week i've been busy hooking up a connectivity exercise just for the sake of this big shot's visit later today. We've been staying back till late (around 10pm) just to get his shit working...actually we don't have to stay back till so late because there are times when we get stuck and can only continue when new equipments and information comes in the next day...but my boss insist we try to solve it...what the heck..its a total waste of my time.

I was running a temperature last night which is why i slept very early and am awake so early in the morning. This morning, i woke up to a very shocking message. Me and 3 other specs have been punished for not keeping the radio sets we've been using in the planning room..which is the place we do our hook up. And because its not only us that has access to this room...my boss is afraid that it might get stolen. Think about it..we'll be using them the next day again..and which stupid idiot thief will choose to steal a bloody lousy radio instead of six 22 inch Samsung LCD monitors which are just beside it!? Even if he's a spy...he will also choose to steal the desktops instead of this stupid radio which has nothing on it right?! And don't get me wrong...my boss did give specific instructions that there's no need to keep the desktops because he thinks that "no one will steal them". He only told us to keep the laptops which i did! Now my punishment is I will not be able to book out next week. I can't take this lying down...i must sort it out later when i go to the office man haha.

And there's another stupid thing happening tomorrow for my unit also. There'll be a stupid cohesion BBQ trying to unite the unit. Why hold it on a friday night?! Fucking stupid bosses...they don't think about their men...i'll be bbqing unhappily later. Never seen me so pissed off with life before? Now is the period.

Things will get better

I'm so glad its friday tomorrow, that means that the weekend is approaching. I dread going down to office nowadays...don't really enjoy working with the people there...the people there are just so unhelpful sometimes. I'm not saying all of them are bad...but those that i work close with just sucks...sigh...hope it gets better for all of us.

Went down to villa francis old folks home to do charity work today as part of armour's anniversary. Me and my team went to clean the roof of leaves and bird shit that was all over. As part of our effort for going there...we were given the rest of the day off. I went over to sam's place for lunch before she had to go on her flight in the afternoon...won't be seeing her for a week because it will be a long flight for her...all the way to L.A. So i arranged to meet up with puss in orchard to shop and walk around. We decided to watch a movie...and because sam didn't want me to watch initial D without her...me and puss went to watch Downfall instead. The movie talks about hitler's downfall at the end of WW2...when the allies were on the verge of overtaking Berlin. Its interesting to learn about the different generals and important people working around Hitler during that time...its unimaginable sometimes that people those time are that patriotic. I can't say the same thing about people nowadays right...especially those here! HA!

Just heard a very interesting rumour from my broadcaster ah kor...haha don't mean to be rude but that has been her nickname named by her 2 daughters since i was young. She said that the case of the china girl who was chopped up was emulated because the murderer watched ying cha yang chuo recently aired on channel 8...haha the one starring edmund chen. Apparently, the movie said that after chopping the body up into 7 pieces and separately..the spirit will not come back and haunt you. I don't remember andrew seow being chopped up in 7 pieces in the show although he was indeed chopped up. Haha interesting though...i wonder why the newspaper ain talking about this rumour...oh ya! SPH and mediacorp merged! Stupid me....

2 gatherings in 2 days

Had a small gathering with puss, mazi, jocelyn, freddy, deirdre, jackie and odette last saturday at miramar hotel. Haha yes i went there to eat again..for the third time. Getting tired of the food there already...i'm open to more new buffets...anyone that knows any out there? Anyway the dinner gathering was organised by horsey only to realise that its jackie's birthday the following day. Haha we bought him a mini cooper model car because thats the car he always wanted...but then we found out too late that odette had gotten him one a year earlier. I just the gathering was also for horsey's farewell...he'll be going over to boston soon to join fishy and study. We had a time limit to eat because we had booked the place for only 2 hours. After dinner we were tricked by horsey to cross over to opposite miramar because there were "many things to see there". We walked all the way to clarke quay and still saw nothing...then we decided we wanted to watch a movie. The movie we watched is a lot like love because horsey and gf had already caught batman begins. The movie turned out to be a typical love story starring ashton kutcher...but i like haha.

Had another gathering with my ex poly classmates the following afternoon...this time at glasshouse fish & co. Didn't go for the usual fish and chips that i order..this time lemon mussels punne pasta or something..can't remember what its called haha. It turned out to be ordinary but nice all the same haha. After lunch...guess what...yup u're right...movie again! This time batman begins. I nearly fell asleep at the beginning of the show...i dun know if its boring or if i was really tired...but i found out later that i wasn't the only one dozing off.

Yesterday...i met sam after my work. We went to have dinner at Big O at wheellock place. The speghetti that i ordered tasted quite good...sam's sirloin steak sizzled too. After dinner we walked around orchard...she went to DFS to get some cosmetics. We then decided we wanted to see big houses..haha we went rounds around CJC's area and ended up somewhere at thomas...saw many pretty houses that i dream i can own one day...work hard i will! Haha

pck musical

Just went for the musical at Kallang Indoor stadium. The musical supposingly cost 3 million dollars...but i sure didn't seem like it. Didn't turn out as nice as i've expected but still alright. But i must say the band is good. The $35 seats that my mum bought were too far and we couldn't see their face clearly haha. But it was a great getaway place from the craps i've been getting at work nowadays. May the lull period come back soon...i'm getting enough of these incompetent superiors that i have...opps...what have i done again.

Sad

My former poly classmate's sister passed away recently. Its bound to be a tough period for her at the moment...its sure worse than any SOC, any IPPT, any route marches or any other tekaning sessions that we have to go through. Let us pray and help her get over this tough period....

Freedom of speech

My tasks in the office has been building up of late...i even had one day burned having 3 consecutive meetings all the way till 10.30pm. At the last minute i even got a scolding from my officer for daydreaming haha. I dunno how he did it but he found out that i wasn't paying attention and asked me to repeat what he last said and obviously i couldn't answer. I was trying hard to come out some crap but i just couldn't. Fortunately for me...he will be posting out within this week and hopefully i won't get to see him ever again haha.

I had been wondering lately if i signed on for the wrong vocation...the things my unit do are just so complicating and hard to understand. Not that i'm trying to give up...in fact i want to learn..afterall..some of these skills can be of use in the working environment outside should i leave the army.

Went to johor yesterday with puss...first time i rode my bike in. Decided to use the 2nd link because i thought the traffic there will be much better than the causeway and damn was i wrong. First of all..the journey to the 2nd link was way way long. I had to use the PIE all the way to the end and when i was there..i was startled to see the queue of bikes there. It was a clusterfuck with all the bikes close together. We took around half an hour before we finally made it across. When we are there...we realised that the 2nd link is very far from JB..it was like 36km apart..but the sceneries we came across while travelling there was nice and it was worth it. But don't expect me to use the 2nd link to go to JB ever again haha.

We spent the whole evening around City Square buying what we went there for in the first place. Stupid puss drew too much money and we had to find ways to spend all the money. We bought snacks, *****, *****, and lots of food. We finally gave our last 1RM to 2 sorry looking kids begging by the road.

Do you realise that my post today could potentially get me some probing from some authority or something? I hate it when i have to fear just for blogging...sigh...

Shit happens!

Ok i had a damn unlucky day today. The day started with a 6km run with my unit...ok that was nothing...nothing much happened till the end of the day. We had a last minute meeting..at 5.30pm! Our knock off timing! And the worse thing is i've arranged to meet my mum for dinner at 7pm at City Hall.

To make things worse...my mum left her handphone at her office and she's uncontactable. Fortunately, she called right before my meeting and i told her i'll be late...probably 7.30pm. The stupid meeting lasted till 7.30pm and of course i had to rush! I took the lim chu kang road and guess what?! I got ambushed!

There was a traffic police camping by the road and he caught me speeding on his speed gun at 93km/h. God dammit! How unlucky can i be? $150 and 6 demerits points! Boohoo! I pleaded but to no avail. He kept asking me where i was rushing to but i couldn't think of a lie...i told him the truth that i was rushing to meet my mum...didn't work. I expected a proper ticket or something but nothing...all he did was copied my particulars on his notepad and said i should be expecting a letter 2 weeks later. Shit...now i must think of an excuse so i can appeal...do feed me with ideas!

After riding for reasonably long...this is my first offence...how unlucky can i be?! There's always a first time alright...no more next time please!!!

Long story 2

Sam wasn't around the last weekend too so i met up with puss, horse and his gf for a movie. We watched Amityville horror..well its fairly scary but i must say its pretty ridiculous too...don't watch it unless you're bored haha.



I can't piece together the sequence of activities that took place. But one of the days i brought sam to the Miramar Hotel's japanese restaurant for dinner after recommendation from my friend. Its a buffet just like Kushinbo only that this time you order and you're served. The sashimis were really solid..fresh and lots of varieties. Its also cheaper than Kushinbo...$30 per pax. The only disappointment is that they dun have soft shell crabs. But it sure was an enjoyable meal...go try them!

Oh anyway i've passed out from Signal Institute. I got posted to a new unit that is situated in Sungei Gedong camp with one other platoon mate. The camp is far like shit...haha sorry for the bad english...but you will never imagine how far inside this camp is. But life as a regular 3rd sergeant there is good alright. Especially as a regular...i get lots of privileges. I get to stay out..i get my own corner for taking my food during meals and i dun need to sign any shitty book-in book-out book. My unit is a classified unit..anything we do and plan is all classified...so don't ask don't probe...just don't bother.

Just yesterday..went for another movie with puss, mazi and his gf. Yeah its Star wars..the super-hyped show. Lots of chopping of hands, heads and bodies in the show...typical star wars otherwise...go catch it just to complete the series..

Long story

It has been a long time since i've posted and quite a lot of things have happened during this period of time! I went to genting and back..got posted to a new unit..watched lots of movies blah blah!

Now where should i start? Ok shall talk about my genting trip first. Booked out that friday evening and rushed home to prepare my clothings and stuff. I then went to meet sam at her place. Our bus was waiting for us beside lavender mrt station and the first thing i did after boarding was sleep! Haha was so tired. The bus there didn't have anything much except a massager chair..but it was comfortable nevertheless.

Reached pretty early in the morning and the damn hotel don't have any rooms for us to check it early. Even got a rude awakening from the damn guard for sleeping in the lobby. We had to wait nearly 6 hours before we got our room..that got sam really real mad haha. In that 6 hours, we sat around..ate breakfast..walked around..played a bit of jackpot..and finally decided to go to the themepark. Time passed really slowly then i don't know why.

And guess who we saw in the themepark...dennis keller and the winner of eye for a guy 2! I shall not spoil most of your fun here and say out his name. They were holding hands taking the different rides and the camera crew was following them all around. The rides there are still the same from the time i went with darien and henry last year...except there's this new flying coaster ride that we had to pay extra money for.

The first thing we did when we got our room was to sleep! Had to wake up in time for our movie though..we had bought the tickets earlier. Watched Kingdom of Heaven...only costed us $10rm..its really cheap..compared to singapore..its what? $9.50 now!?



The show was alright...reminds me a little of King Arthur. Orlando Bloom just don't suit this sort of movie..wrong role for him to play...he's meant for those pretty boy shows haha.

After the movie we had our dinner at pizzahut..did some shopping and visited Ripley's believe it or not..and trust me...its nice! We spent the rest of the night in the casino playing jackpot and guess what!? We won! $40rm or something...not too bad right? I was satisfied enough haha.

We had a change of bus on our way back to singapore because the air con on our first bus broke down. They switched us to their first class bus and boy was it comfortable. We had a personal tv that we can play game, watch movies and music videos. I watched my boss's daughter starring ashton kutcher and halloween's horror starring dunno who haha. In conclusion, i enjoyed the trip very much and it was a break from all the sufferings i went through in army thus far haha.

After typing so much..i just you people are tired from reading right? I'm tired from typing too haha. Shall post again tml!

I can officially celebrate Labor Day now

I finally brought myself to update my blog for this week. Its the long weekend that all of us had waited for but its coming to an end! Leaving home and back to camp again in around half an hour...and you know what..i'm down with fever again..i dunno whats wrong with this body of mine but the fever just keeps coming back once monthly..just like a woman's period!

Met up with sam for dinner on friday night...we went to the newly opened satay club in east coast and had quite a feast. Then we wanted to go watch a movie but by the time we reached jubilee..the last show was gone.

Then we went out with her family because she wanted to get a new mattress for her new bed. I slept for the rest of the afternoon before going to meiwen and meiting's birthday celebration in aranda. It was nice meeting up with so many ppl i haven seen in quite a while. We left at around midnight and decided we wanted to watch a movie. Watched The interpreter and more than half of the 9 ppl that went fell asleep in the movie..including my gf herself! Haha. Not a nice show to me...i won't want to watch it again.



You won't be reading too much of my life serving the army because of the amount of attention on blogs nowadays...ppl even get sued over what they said over blogs..for all you know i might even get sued for saying that the food in my cookhouse suck! (Opps)

Weekend well spent

Went for weijian's birthday party yesterday. When i arrived..there were hardly anyone i knew there. Then came along some old marist friends. Throughout some parts of the party he weren't there at all because he went to fetch more friends. Then around 9+ he went off to fetch Mingli who just touched down from a flight. I waited and waited and got so bored i decided to go home haha.

Watched 2 pretty good movies this weekend starting with Coach Carter. Its a movie about a school won't don't do well academically and an average basketball team. Then came Carter who transformed the team with his extraordinary training and rules. He's someone that believes his boys should do well academically before they can play basketball. Along the way he faced many obstacles and criticisms from parents, teachers, students, the public and even the school principal herself. Its amazing how thick skin he is..i would have quit if i were to be treated like that. A show worth watching..



Woke up in the afternoon today and went for lunch with my mum at her favourite japanese restaurant at casaurina road near my place. After that we took a cab to Toa Payoh to watch a movie. Haven't taken a cab for the longest time and i must say i like sitting in a cab..haha i dunno why but it sure is comfortable. Watched Guess Who this time...another nice movie. The movie talks about ashton kutchon who fell in love with a black girl and face the uphill task of meeting her dad who is conservative and is particular about the colour of his daughter's bf's skin. Its a funny and touching movie..certainly another show worth watching...a weekend well spent for me.



Oh btw i changed my blog song again..its currently my favourite song and the first thing i always do when i switch on my com is to activate itunes and play this song...hope you enjoy it..cheers!

Start of a new weekend!

I just got back from my defensive riding course at BBDC. Its only my 2nd time stepping in there today, the first time i went...i went to register for this course. So i had trouble finding my way there haha. And stupid me had forgotten to ask what time the course starts..and their stupid customer service phoneline sucks...always busy and engaged.

Anyway i was trying to find out at their website early this morning and fortunately Dave was online. And coincidentally he just went for the course last thursday and he told me that its starts at 8.30am. It was already 8am and of course i panicked and quickly left home. Reached at around 8.45am and luckily i wasn't reprimanded or not allowed to take the course. Anyway i wasn't the last to arrive..one guy came at 9.30am and he could only collect his cert one hour after us at the end of the day haha. With this cert, i can now ride and park my bike in camp! No more fear of being summoned or anything being stolen!

Met up with Puss and Sam yesterday at Orchard and we went for a movie...Samara. Its a boring show..but both puss and sam agreed that its scary. Its hardly scary to me..i was yawning half the time..don't waste your $6.50 or $8.50 i say. Haha

What a boring sunday!

Alright everyone's gone. Mum left on friday midnight but i didn't go to the airport because i was to meet Sam that night. Sam left on saturday morning. I stayed over at her place and woke up early in the morning at around 6am to accompany her to the airport. We had breakfast there and after they left i left too. Went to BBDC to book my defensive riding course and after i pass that course i can ride and park my bike in camp! No more walking all the way to the neighbourhood opposite! Hooah!

And this morning i woke at 6am too to help my sis carry her freaking heavy luggage down. She told me it weights 32kg wahaha..thats like 2 full battle order.]

So here i am all alone at home with nothing to do and no one to go out with. Cheap bird is playing soccer with his army friends while puss is mugging for his coming exams. Oh Mazi got accepted in Boston University and he said that he might be staying there to work after that? He'll be leaving in August..so bye bye Mazi?

Here i am so freaking bored at home..shall go out later but i dunno where to go. The library is closed now isn't it?

Not surprisingly..i didn't watch any movies this weekend haha. But i did watch Black Hawk Down which i downloaded. While watching the show stopped abruptedly. Its only then that i realised that its one part 1 of the show..dammit man..now i won't be watching the ending till maybe weeks later.

They're all leaving

My mum's going to China for vacation this friday, my sis is going to India for her attachment this sat...sam's going to Bangkok this sat too...they're all leaving me one by one haha. My ah kor will be moving back to her place during this period when nobody will be at my house. So when i book out this weekend i'll be all alone at home! How sian..at least i have nicky to keep me company haha.

I am in the lab now learning asp...i don't know a shit..i don't know how to link my database..i shall switch off and surf the net..Hooah

Its my life

You won't believe what happened to my bike. Nah its not what you think. But i spent the whole of last night trying to unlock my bike's handlebar and start the engine. Horsey even came by and tried. We didn't succeed and i even went back this morning to try again for another 15mins..to no avail again. I had no choice this time but to ask the former owner for help. He never had such problem before but he's a nice guy and he came to help. I went to Cantonment Complex to fetch him (He's an nsf working in CID) and made my way back to where i park my bike near horsey's place. He couldn't do anything too but he had many contacts so we got a tow truck to tow my bike to lim ah boy's workshop lol.

As the handlebar was locked...it was a super chore to get the bike up the pick up. They had to lift up the front wheel while i pull the bike. And i swear this bike is super heavy haha. At the workshop...all he did was twist and turn..swear some oil and grease..and after around 10mins..my bike's engine went off haha..finally..i was relieved yet puzzled. I actually spent $27 ($17 for tow and $10 for this 'repair' service) and it was done so easily. Anyway most importantly i got my bike up and running again and i can ride it again! I bought 2 side bags to attach to my bike yesterday..now its pretty fat haha..i wonder if i can squeeze again...but it does provide me the storage space i need.

By the time i sent the bike's former owner back in west coast and reach my place..it was already 9+. When i finally reached my doorstep..i realised that i left my key on the bike! God dammit! Imagine that...so near yet so far..i had to go all the way back there to retrieve my key...everything was under my bike cover so i wasn't too worried someone will ride my bike away.

Finally back home and i still had to continue typing my exercise report...i only just finished and my eyes aches like shit. But i'm still here typing and telling everyone of you my experience. Now this is my life.

I made myself busy

After school on friday..i went to my bike shop because i need a guarantor to sign for my bike loan. I got my cousin so he met me there. He's selling some slimming pills and apparently he's earning big bucks. He's getting married at the end of this year..he told me it cost $50000 and he has to pay cash. And he's getting a car at the end of his reservist and i don't know when..but his options are only lexus, mercedes or BMW haha..i wanna be him. He asked me to join him in selling that but then i'm no good with sales..and remember that multilevel sales company place bernerd brought me a year back? Its something like that haha.

After signing i sent him back to his workplace and went to meet sam at orchard. Wanted to watch a movie at PS but its full house...which is always the case at PS. I then went home and went to pick her up later for a later show at jubilee. We watched Spanglish..the trailer made it to be a usual Adam Sandler's type of comedy but its actually not so...its emotional and touching at times and there's meaning to the show haha.



And yesterday..i met dave to visit Ah boy but i didn't buy anything..wanted to buy side bags to put on my bike but then he discouraged me against doing that haha. I then went to meet wayniest to go orchard just for a yakitori box for dinner haha. After dinner we went home to watch Manu vs Blackburn..i fell asleep at the 75th min haha...its that boring..and yes the final score is 0-0.

After the match we had to rush to Lido to meet Sham and Henry for another movie..Hostage this time haha..look how busy i made myself. We missed the 1st 5 mins of the show..i don't know how he failed as a negotiator and all..heck it. The show was alright...only a bit unrealistic here and there. Full of maniacs and action though..and it leaves you wondering at the end of it too..till now i don't know who those masked men were and whats in the dvd.

Girls are evil

Sad life

I just got myself a sportsbike...something that i've always wanted to own all my life. The same model i look at the magazines all these years all these months...when i finally got it..i don't get the support from anyone. Everyone hates it..they thinks that its dangerous. My dream is shattered i'm so hurt. I'm supposed to ride my dream bike gloomy from now on.

I got the bike to enjoy myself..i understand its scary or maybe even uncomfortable being a pillion..thats why i dun expect it to be popular with family, friends or girlfriend. I just want them to understand its something that i want..i promise to be safe with it...just for a year i'll sell it..i promise.

Its just a bike why won't they let me keep it..i understand they're all concerned with my safety which is why is one of the reason why i kept it secret from them for so long..i dun want to make them worry. If its possible to hide it from sam i will..but its not possible. Another reason why i dun want to tell my family is because i don't want to quarrel with them..nothing they do or say will make me sell my bike..riding has become part and parcel of my life..and i know them..they will go out all the way to force me to give up this hobby of mine..knowing my character i know i won't give it...i might even not come home to escape all the nagging and looks...i promise

The eye 10

Sam took me to Tan tock seng A&E to consult the doctor there today..i was warned that i might have to wait damn long for my turn but surprising it didn't really take too long...max 1 hour? Walked around the hospital buying newspaper, food and drink while waiting though..so time passed quickly. The doctor is a young malay girl...obviously didn't look too experienced to me haha. Anyway all i got was one big packet of paracetamol...ridiculous right..all the trouble for panadol..anyway i was told to go back if the fever lasts for a week or so.

After that we went to watch the eye 10 with sam just now..haha i'm sure you must have heard by now that it's a comedy cum horror show. How true that is...the scene about the breakdancing got me laughing like mad...i even teared haha.

There were also scenes which got some mad girls in the theatre screaming like mad...they irritated me...

Sick again!?

For those that has been meeting up with me often over the past few months you would have noticed that i'm always running a fever. This fever comes back like once every month..its torturous..it never fails not to make my head spin and my body hot haha...that was fei hua right. Panadol's effect always only last 4-5 hours and the fever will come back. Only this medicine call Ponstan helps...but my cousin-in-law who is a doctor told me that it shouldn't be taken too often because its a painkiller and its kinda strong. How am i supposed to know right..one doctor i visited gave it to me! I have been relying on it to cure my fever for the past few months...but apparently the effect wears out after a month.

Should be going for a bloodtest later...hope its not anything serious. Soon TCS might recruit me for their doctor dramas..where everyone in the show seems to be sick wahaha.

Movies

School ended earlier again yesterday but as i wasn't feeling well i went straight home for a nap. Woke up slightly better and watched tv till around 10. Then went to meet pussyboy for a movie. We watched Miss congeniality 2. Quite a nice show...many scenes were filmed in Las Vegas..make me want to go there again...one of my all time favourite place.



Oh and i didn't mention that i watched Robots last week with Sam. Quite a nice show too..filled with imaginative ideas. Hmmm sorry can't use me as a movie reviewer anymore...lazy to elaborate nowadays haha.

Occupation = student

Just got back from school 4 hours ago..yes school. Haha from now till 6th April i'll be studying in SP and will be coming home everyday! How good does that sound man...if only army will be like that all the time haha.

The subjects taught has been taught before to my platoon mates and they requested the lecturer to fast forward his lesson which he did. The lesson which was supposed to end at 5 ended at 3 haha...we went straight to play soccer which we had planned beforehand. Had fun...it has been a long time since i last kicked a ball.

Has been feeling really tired these few days...will be going to bed soon...waking up early for school again tomorrow...till i blog again.

Carrot weekend

Booked out at 2300 on friday because we had an some exercise that day. Just because i'm a regular...i'm given appointment everytime without fail..not that i mind..afterall i get 4 times more money than my mates anyway...so i have to do 4 times more work? Haha. Anyway they made me the exercise ic..not a tough job actually..all i have to do it direct intruct order..don't need to do anything myself haha.

Rented a car this weekend..went to sign my deed at cmpb and then went to ikea to walk for awhile. After that i went to chinatown to get my ah kor a gold necklace as birthday present..learnt a little bit about gold after this shopping trip. After getting the present, i went to pay my bike's installment and went back to sam's place. The rest of the day was spent at sam's place playing mahjong and slacking around. Had no signboard crabs for dinner that night and your jaw might probably drop after i tell you the bill. Sam ordered 4 crabs and each weights around 1kg (1kg of crab cost $30)..after ordering some other small dishes etc...the bill amounted to $128! You will never imagine a hawker place like that charging so much...what a carrot head chopping board! No signboard my foot!

The new com i bought arrived yesterday..spent the night fixing and playing with it. But the com came without the upgrades i added inside my order..will clarify with Dell soon...or else my carrot head will get smaller. Has been waking early so often these weekend..i diligently wake up after around 7 hours of sleep..look how army changed my body haha...

I miss my bed

Had a nice birthday present from my company on my birthday itself. Was at Singapore poly that day and the first thing everyone did was to check their bank account haha. Finally got my regular pay and a nice amount too..won't reveal how much exactly.

Treated my family, puss and cheap to a lousy buffet at furama hotel...don't be mistaken..its not cheap..just that its not nice haha. There's a number of things that i would like to buy..that includes a new computer! Went to the IT fair at suntec and kinda regreted..recce around for 2 days and i couldn't come to a decision to which one to buy. Guess i'll wait a little longer.

My bed is just behind me but i don't have much time to lie on it..gonna leave home at 9pm...miss my bed..didn't see sam the whole weekend too..miss her too..

I love my weekends

It has been a fruitful long weekend for me. I believe i didn't mentioned, i've gotten my posting. I was told to report to Sispec again last monday because i'm without posting..so i'm officially still a sispec person. All i had to do that whole day was find an empty bunk and sleep alone..how boring. But in the late afternoon i was told i've gotten my posting..expectingly..Signals Institute (SI) lah..what else. So i packed my bag and went home.

I reported to SI the next day with all my barang barang and i found out that the other trainees will only report on wednesday. I put my bags in their admin office and sat there for half a day. Fortunately it was half day for all of them that day for dunno what reason and i was released at around 12.30pm..you can imagine my boredom the whole day sitting in the office doing nothing but smsing and reading newspaper *yawn*. Went home and then met Sam after that. We watched Constantine..ok i know..you've all watched it. Quite an alright show with lots of special effects..i believe the heaven and hell thing in the show will persuade a few out there to go to church this weekend haha.

Was supposed to report at 7.30am the next day but i woke up at 7am. Can you believe it? Of course i rushed like shit..had to time to shower or what..changed to my smart four and off i went. On my way there, there were 3 accidents all the way..the expressway was jammed like shit...and i mean like shit. I was obviously late but fortunately i wasn't given any extra duty..not even a reprimanding haha. There are 3 courses in SI namely InfoCom1, InfoCom2 and InfoSys. InfoCom1 focuses mainly on those signal related stuff on vehicles, InfoCom2 focuses on cheongsuahing..soldiers carrying signal sets and Cheongsuahing lor haha. InfoSys is mainly an office based thing..computer problem solving in offices and that's where i'm posted wahaha. No more SOC, no more outfield no more shit. My training program feels so much like poly..SQL, bluetooth, oracle blah blah...and mentioning about poly..this course even requires that i go to Singapore poly for lessons..a good 3 weeks if i'm not wrong haha..back to poly life!

The first day was orientation..a few fast lessons and a short jog around the camp. There's another regular in my bunk my platoon my course. My course commander is a female haha...shepherdson..oh no is this how its spelt..haha i dunno. You might wonder why a woman is doing in the army...but i can tell you she's quite suited here..she's fierce and assertive..just like any disciplinary mistress..scary. I hardly know anyone in my platoon so far. There's this other regular (his name is O..real name!) thats in my bunk and the both of us are always aimed to do extra work..and why? Because we're regulars haha. The amazing thing is...he lives in ang mo kio blk 178! And where do i live? Blk 179! Haha what a freaking small world right? Enough about my army life..let's talk about my weekend shall we?

Well i booked in on wednesday and i booked out on thursday evening haha. That's because its SI's 2nd anniversary the next day and they have an ongoing event in Jurong Water Park. So we all reported there the next day just to play some stupid lame game..they even hired 2 bikini babes to conduct warm-up for us...oh...SAF...haha. It ended in the afternoon and i went home. Slacked around at home and then went to Sam's house to slack somemore haha. Was playing mahjong with her dad and brother when she was activated for flight...a hanoi turnaround the next morning. I slept over at her place and when i woke up..nobody was around except for her maid and grandma haha. I asked the cheap weijian out and luckily he's awake..we met up and went Clementi for breakfast. After that we took a tour around NUS (his future school) for awhile before we got lost. There's this very curvy road near NUS leading to pasir panjang road..if you all didn't know..i was told its singapore's curviest road..haha you all should drive there one day..its fun. While riding along that road..we found a road leading to Pasir Panjang Battle Site...its uphill and the scenery there is pretty awesome..there's a clear view of the sea and the surrounding is peaceful and serene. Shall visit there again one day!

We decided to go to Jurong Point for our movie after that..we watched Hitch. Yeah i know..you've all watched it too....its nice. Actually i've watched so many movies the past days i didn't blog about..there's Assault on Precinct 13 and Team America World Police. They're both pretty good shows..especially Team America...its damn funny..the movie seemed hard to make with the puppets and all..its from the same creator as Southpark..so if you watch Southpark..you might find some of the voices familiar..there's Mr Garrison's voice..and cartman's too haha. Booking in tonight at 2200...my weekend's ending..but going out to celebrate my birthday later! 22 this year...no more feeling haha...but i'm sure i'll have fun! Cheers!

Graduated!

Finally i've graduated from Sispec. I'm proud because i graduated with a platoon's best trainee award. I got a certificate from Sispec and a pluck from my echo company. The last 2 days happen to be the most tiring days of Sispec training. That includes the 32km route march, the graduation rehearsal and clearing of belongings/stores. During the graduation i'm one of the 4 platoon best so i had to stand in front of the whole company. We had to stand there for nearly 1 hour in full battle order. The bag and the SBO's weight plus the hot sun was enough to wear me out...i nearly black out for a moment but i hanged on. I bent down occasionally to rest and got a scolding of course haha.

In the evening, we set out for our 32km route march. The march turn out to be the most tiring shit i have to go through in my entire life so far. Because i was the platoon's best i had to be the platoon ic. At every rest point i wasn't allowed to put my bag down until i got my platoon organised, make sure everyone is back and then reported to the officer in charge. My OC didn't want us to sing and might as well..because i dun think anyone of us had the breath to sing anyway. The whole march was fucking boring...the only thing we can look forward to is the next rest point..many of them fell asleep while marching..how they do it i dunno haha. Our OC led one 4km you will never imagine a 48 years old can walk so fast. He completed it in less than half an hour..i nearly died after that.

Of course at the end of the march..there's that sense of satisfaction and it came together with abrasions and cramps on the legs haha. We weren't given much time to rest after the march and we had to fall in again for our graduation parade. This time i didn't feel dizzy standing there and i got my cert and chevron from a colonel. He looks so young and so gay you will never imagine he's a big shot in the army wahaha.

After the parade came the clearing of belongings and stores. This turn out to be tiring too..the whole platoon was so tired most of them were reluctant to cooperate with me. But at the end of the day its done and i'm out of there. The whole platoon got their posting except me, maybe because i'm a regular. My buddy got into the PTI course...11 going on to ASLC...7 going to Signals...1 ADA and the rest combat engineering. There's this guy who very much want to get into the PTI course at the start of sispec and he worked hard for it...he even got sispec's best PT award. Guess where he's posted to...ASLC...he was so sad after that he didn't talk to anyone. Well i'm glad i got today to rest because signals and PTI had to report this morning haha.

Sispec finally coming to an end!

Well i'm left with 4 more days in sispec...the days from now onwards will be pretty slack and relax except for my 32km route march on wednesday. I really hope the pace will be slow because if it's fast i'm afraid i won't be able to take it haha. Of all the events in army..i hate route marches the most! Had a 16km route march that day and my PC walked so fast it felt like a fast march...my legs are still aching after that march!

I didn't managed to cross over to OCS this time...i was so damn close. I was one of the 2 in my company selected for the school interview..but then the other guy got it..i didn't...dammit...its sad...but i have to accept it. Shall remain a sergeant for now then...who knows..life might be better. Hope good things will come my way soon.

Met Sam just now...my poor darling is sick. Looking after her now...she's down with the flu. Forgive me if my blogs don't make sense nowadays because i don't have the mood and energy to blog too much after a long week haha.

My interview this week

I asked a friend yesterday who has been through it. Looks like this interview ain going to be easy. There's 2 interview...one company one school. For company i heard that there's going to be the OC, 2IC, 4 PCs, 4 PSs and probably sergeant major..omg..11 to 1..i hope i don't screw it up..i'm sure they'll bombard me..especially the PSs and Sergeant major..because they're screwed up people haha.

If i get through the company one they'll be the school one. There will be the 7 OCs, CO, 3 captains from OCS and dunno which other big shots..at least 11 to 1 again haha OMG. Why is it so unfair..why do i have to go through all these just to get there while some others just get there like that. I'm gonna be damn proud of myself if i make it though..i can boast that i've been through more shit than them haha.

Watched seoul raiders yesterday...nice show. Only that the gangsters fight without guns..which is quite unrealistic..but makes it more action-packed haha.

Guess what i'm back enjoying another long weekend hooah!

Its Chinese New Year again! Its the year of the cock this time. Hope everything will go well for you for me. May we all enjoy good fortune and lots of prosperity. Haha ok enough of all these. Added a new song sung by a trio of sore voice singers namely Bryan Adams, Sting and Rod Steward. Ah Du will definitely not be out of place joining them for the song...oh..but then again..i think he was still a construction worker then when this song was released..haha

Just got back from visiting...feeling slightly feverish..stupid body of mine is just so damn weak. Had a long tiring week..finished the worst army exercise ever..exercise nutcracker. We were required to dig shellscrapes and firetrenches over the night. If you've been through it you will understand how tiring it is. In the middle of the night you can see people slamming the spade into the ground and leaning on it to sleep...haha actually i'm talking about myself. My buddies laughed so hard at my that sleeping position they made fun of me for the rest of the week. Anyway while sleeping, my stupid sergeant stole my magazine..my name was taken down but thank God i'm not required to go back for guard duty during this long break..Thank God Thank God...you can imagine my relief. One of my other platoon mate was not so fortunate however..he too got his magazine stolen and he has to book in this friday for guard duty wahaha..he showed everyone a black face for the rest of the week after the guard duty list came out...who cares he's fucked up haha.

After not sleeping much for 3 days 2 nights for nutcracker..we had section live firing the next day. This took place near NTU..it lasted till around 12 midnight and we made our way back to tekong after that. They had to make us clean our arms all the way till 4am before allowing us to sleep at 5am. And guess what time is waking up timing...7.15am. What happened to SAF 7th core value CARE FOR SOLDIERS man haha.

Nevermind its over now and the rest of my sispec days will be easy from now on because we have completed most of the major programs. My PC told me that he had nominated me to cross over to OCS..2 people in my platoon got it..you can imagine how happy i was when i heard it. But i still have to pass an interview..i really hope i can make it over..guys do wish me luck.

Oh most of you don't know..my application to be an army regular has been approved..i'm officially an army regular now. But stupid SAF is still paying me NSF's allowance..how inefficient can they be. I will go in and make a difference...oh will i get sued for typing this? Opps

I'm a soldier now..will be a soldier till i'm old if all goes as planned. Army has changed me a bit. I learn to appreciate my weekends, bed, house, family, bike, gf everything thats on mainland after joining the army. Ok don't laught..I even have the obssession of keeping in steps with the person in front of me whenever i walk. Left right left right left right left....haha ok enough of my nonsense for now..will be booking in this Sunday..stay tune for more nonsenses during the week cheers! Gong Xi Fa Cai!

My super long weekend

With the blink of an eye, i've already finished 6 weeks of sispec training. Currently enjoying my long weekend and awaiting the commencement of my term 2 training. Caught 2 movies during my weekend, Shall we dance and Finding neverland. Shall we dance is a nice touching movie..worth the money..catch it. I have no right to comment about Finding neverland though..was sleeping throughout for more than half the screening. Partly because it was late at night and i was tired..and also because its a super boring movie.

Done my chinese new year shopping already..because i can't book out again next week! I don't know why but they sure love to schedule programs on weekends tmd. Will be watching another movie later perhaps..meeting up with pussy haha. Its amazing how much money i've spent already this weekend. But its worth it...you never understand the feeling of being on that dreaded island with all luxuries and entertainment deprived.

Been some time

Wow it has been 1 month since i last blogged. Its amazing how fast time passes when i'm in camp. But don't get me wrong..i'm not enjoying at the moment..life in sispec sucks haha. Especially recently, things are so rush and there's not even enough time for us to shit and pee etc. Won't be booking out this coming weekend because i have some field camp shit. Coming to end of term 1 soon...term 2 will be live fining all the way..its ending soon.

Had a very filling dinner with puss at kushinbo just now..now i feel like i'm pregnant. Feels better after a few burps. Booked out at 3pm yesterday and reached home at around 4.30pm. Washed up rested for awhile and rushed off to sam's house to meet her. But she was moody that day and we didn't manage to spend much quality time together. At around 9pm she had to leave home to the airport for her Manchester flight. Gonna miss her...hoping to see her next thursday when i get to book out..i hope i don't get guard duty on that day..i'll curse and swear.

Preparing to leave home to book in now...why is the weekend so damn short..goodbye people..till i blog again take care.

National Treasure

Went out with my section mates today...unfortunately...only half section level turned up haha. We went for lunch at kushinbo and had our fill. I've been having good food ever since i POPed..i think i'm spoilt..feel damn broke too.

After lunch we went to watch National Treasure. Great show..full of actionm thrills and mystery solving. Its pretty much like The Rock if you people remember that show. Nicholas Cage is the star this time too...and his gf is hot haha.



Has been feeling sick the past few days..dunno whats wrong with me. Got some rashes on my legs too..think i'm staying at home tomorrow.

Just found out that the 20 years old Linda Wee that died recently in a bike accident is also a member of the singapore bike forum. Its sad to read her old posts knowing that she's already gone...sob...

Call me Private Nicholas!

Pop loh! Finally i've graduated, having my block leave now. While everyone else are eagerly waiting for their posting, i'm someone that already know where i'm going. For those of you who don't know, i've sign on with the army as a signal specialist. Being a specialist is of course not my first choice, i had applied to be a regular officer but they offered me this specialist contract instead. Good thing about signing on as a specialist is that i get to enjoy a huge lump sum and can sign on for a longer term. An officer will be offered a 3 years contract and their performance will be assessed after it ends. So there's a no guarantee that army will still want u after 3 years. For specialist, i'm being offered a 10 years contract with a 4 years bond. That means that after 6 years from now i can leave the army without having to pay back any money.

Signing on as a specialist means that i'll be going to sispec school at Pulau Tekong again. While there i'll aim to cross over to OCS and hopefully get the officer contract coz there's what i really want to be. Being an officer also means i can apply for the Local Study Award (LSA) where SAF pays for my degree. That's my plan initially..now i have to work doubly hard to cross over.

Let's talk about my POP day now. Everyone can only bring 2 family members but guess how many i brought? 6! Haha. Didn't take part in the first march in because i was on status the week before and didn't join in the rehearsals. But i got to throw my cap and dance around of course. On the last day, my platoon mates took my sergeant for a powder + water bath..he looked so dirty, wet, helpless and white after that haha. Here are some photos!

Why am i at home?

That's because i got 1 day MC! Well, my fever got so bad yesterday my world started spinning..i couldn't think straight i thought i was going to die. Initially i wanted to tolerate and see if i get better in camp, but at 1700 i decided i wanted to get an MC. I called my sergeant and he told me i had to get my MC before my MC which was 1840 or else i can be charged for AWOL. WTH...immediately i called mummy and fortunately she was at Ang Mo Kio central and that time. And luckily we found a clinic that is opened. You won't believe how much this doctor's visit cost my mum...a whooping $55...WTH WTF...apparently its because of the antibiotics they prescribed that is supposingly quite costly. Anyway there's only 5 pills inside.

Ok enough of complaining..i'm glad i can rest at home sweet home. Booking in at 1930 today. Was platoon ic last week and got pumped and scolded a few times haha. I think there'll be a change of ic today so when i book in i'm relieved of responsibilities phew. With the blink of an eye, my life as a chao recruit is coming to an end. Not sure if i'll miss life here until i experience army elsewhere in the coming months.

Oh at the clinic yesterday, i passed all my belongings to my mum because i wanted to go to the toilet. When i came back she asked why i had so many keys and asked if one of them is a motorcycle's key. Opps..immediately of course i said no lah and told her some of them belongs to sam haha. Luckily she didn't probe further. Expectedly i think she already knows it more or less. My room is full of bike posters and magazines and my computer's wallpaper is Yamaha R1.

Anyway i caught The Shutter with puss on Sat. Go watch it if you need some shocks to wake up in life. The thais did a good job..its certainly scary..watch it..oh the lead actress is quite hot too.

2 more weeks to POP! PO PO PO P!

I'm exactly 14 days away from passing out from bmt, fast isn't it? The past week passed reasonably quickly. Was outfield again for 3 days 2 nights for my situational test. Was a law gunner and that meant that i had to carry the 6.3kg law tube plus my m16 rifle everywhere i went. And if you understand what i mean, you can imagine how fucking tiring it is to leopard crawl and arti run with that shitty tube haha. Anyway all is over now and the few events left are namely live grenade throw and 16km/24km route march.

Had my 5 days long holiday last week, it passed in whizz. Attended my cousin's wedding that sunday. It was the first time i witnessed the cantonese practice of marriage, with the bargaining of hongbao on entering the bride's house blah blah. You won't believe what happened that day. After fetching the bride, they had to travel to the bridegroom's house. A few cousins of mine and i tagged along. 4 cars left and i was in my sister's bf's car. At the exit of SLE going to Yishun, one of the cars driven by the bridegroom's car skidded and it smashed against the wall along the side of the road. On seeing the accident, my sister's bf panicked and jam brake. The car skidded too and smashed into the walls too. Thank God nobody was injured although the cars were in quite a bad state.

There's so many things i want to do, eat and see on booking out but i don't know where to start and i don't have the money to start haha. SAF isn't paying me enough! Slept my precious afternoon away, going to make full use of my evening and night. Going out soon! Meanwhile take care all!

My Long Weekend

Booked out on wednesday's evening and will be booking in only on monday evening, how great is that?! Will be going back to the jungle on tuesday for my situational test though. But fortunately its only 3 days 2 nights now. Will be back to eating shitty ration and powder bathing, hope it won't be so demoralising this time.

Went Mambo night with my poly classmates on wednesday night. It was expectedly packed but somehow we all managed to squeeze in quite quickly haha. Danced for awhile but felt really sleepy after 3am. Stayed over at Sam's house that night and slept till around 1pm. Remained at her place for nearly the whole day playing mahjong and won some money haha.

Went out with wayniest yesterday. We went to the motorshow and it cost us $10. There weren't mercedes, bmw, jaguar nor volkswagon. Not worth the $10 at all so if you read this try not to go, even going to the zoo will be a better choice. After that we met us with puss, sam and her brother for a movie. Watched the incredibles. Just like the other graphic movies, its funny, imaginative and ok to watch.



You can never imagine how much an NSman will spend on one weekend out. For the past few days outside, i think i've spent more than $200 already. I'm already feeling so broke after paying for the damn bike insurance that cost me $700...someone help me........

Will be eating dinner at merchant court's hotel tonight to celebrate my mummy's birthday. Then after that i'll be going to sentosa to attend mingli's birthday celebration. What do u think? Every book out day is precious! Haha

Miss me?!

Wow how long has it been? I wonder how many of you all actually do drop by Xiaoville nowadays. You might think i'm exaggerating but this one month plus seems such a long time to me. I've been through shit, mud, torture, humiliation etc etc you name it haha.

I'm in BMTC school 1 Charlie company Platoon 1 Section 2 haha. Charlie is the slackest enhanced company in school 1 this time. While other companies are doing their 5BX (excercise), our company will be just preparing to wake up. We have reasonable amount of admin time but when the sergeants want to tekang us, its hell.

So far i've done route marches, basic close combat training(bcct), circuit training, weights training, ET run, IPPT, range and FIELD CAMP! The 7 days of field camp were the worse days of my life. I didn't bathe nor brush my teeth for the whole one week. Everyday we have to sleep on mud and feed the mosquitos. Ok we powder bath everyday, and that means stripping to only our underwear and cover every part of our body with powder. I hate powder bathing because that's when mosquitos start biting me again and i have to take off my shoes and step on the shitty mud. Throughout the 1 week, i had my boots on all the time except when powder bathing. Can you imagine the discomfort, the socks mark on my calf is still around man. Field camp also means that you shit/pee in the jungle and eat combat ration. And trust me, the braised chicken rice with mushroom tasted like vomit, combat ration is army men's fear factor.

It rained everyday during my field camp. Throughout, we had to put on camo, carry our SBO, wear our helmet and hold on to our rifle. They are a bunch of nuisance, everything is dirtied by mud and stinked. One of the things i hate most is doing route march. Route march means we carry our fucking heavy field pack, sbo, rifle, wear our helmet and march. I think everything weighs almost 25kg, that's almost half my body weight god dammit. And everytime we shift from one camp site to the next, we route march around 3-6km. I don't think i can put down what i've been through this one month in one post. I'll do it when i have more time next time.

Saying

Met up with my church friend Eunice for lunch at Raffles places yesterday because she works there. Haven seen her for more than a year now. It has really been a long time. After that i met Reloo for a movie, the new police story. And you know what..i just watched the show the day before with wayniest. Luckily i didn't have to pay to watch the 2nd time because Reloo's gf's dad works for GV. But still i had to watch the same show twice in 2 days. The show is ok with lots of actions. Catch it.



Met up with horse, bear and ah teck for a drink at millenia walk last night. Chatted and drank till around 2am before we left. Already met up with many of my friends before enlisting. I dunno why but how come everybody feels like i'll be gone forever? Haha.

I'll be back soon...maybe next week because i heard that confinement week is taken away isn't that just great?

"Last" weekend

Will be enlisting this coming wednesday, finally the day is drawing near. Had been waiting for like 5 months? Will obviously be hoping that i'll enjoy life there. Will be meeting friends for a meal or 2 a few days before i go botak.

Spent a few hours there sleeping haha. I was then woken up by a phonecall...guess by who? My ex-driving instructor. I wonder what he's up to calling up and asking how i am...probably keeping up customer relations? Anyway i didn't really like him while learning...and i had to fail twice before passing the third time under him. All these years i've never introduced any of my friends to him and don't intend to...they'll be better off learning somewhere else haha.

Met up with a few of my poly classmates yesterday at east coast chalet for some small gathering and also sham's birthday. Was there for only awhile because sam had to go home early to rest for her flight this morning. Her flight came when she's on standby mode and unfortunately she had to be called up. This flight to London will be 5 days long and that also means she won't be joining me in tekong :( . But well i'll see her when i book out on weekends.

Oh i watched dodgeball the other day. Quite an ok show with many laughable scenes and moments. Will be meeting wayniest later for another movie..probably police story. Will want to catch white chicks before wednesday too haha...i'm going to be so so broke.

Back!

Haven been updating my blog for the longest time. Anyway for the past days that i haven been posting i watched Harold and Kumar, found out my carrot head got chop again, completed my last day of work and the highlight i went to KL and Genting for 3 days!

Went there with my ex-classmates Henry and Darien by train. The train ride there was terrible because it was long, frustrating and tiring. Half the time the train was travelling less than 50km/h and Darien had to object getting the higher class tickets where we will each have a bed to sleep on. In the end we ended up in economy class and although the seats are like any other coaches, the journey was 3 times as long! By the time we FINALLY reached KL, it was around 8+am and when we saw Macdonalds at the station, we rushed in and had our fill.

We then took a cab to our hotel. It was a budget hotel, only 88RM a night...very affordable for the 3 of us who are all feeling poor. After slacking for awhile and walking around, we then went to genting in the afternoon. The cable car ride up the highlands was breathtaking. We were above the clouds half the time and the weather there was good. We had fun at their themepark but not their casino. We managed to sneak in although 2 of them were underage using the excuse of "never bring passport". They checked mine and ok we're in. Turned out to be not a good thing. We each came out 50RM to play (min stake per game is 25RM by the way). We decided to play blackjack but weren't too sure of the rules. We embarrassed ourselves many times. There was once this guy had 2 ACES and he split, thinking we could place bet on him too we put our chip on the table and got the "OEII" from him. We also got some nagging from people because we played alternate games thus spoiling their luck? Whatever the case, as expected we lost everything within half an hour and duly walked out disappointed. Had dinner at Kenny Rogers back at KL, which was reasonably cheap and went back to our hotel after that.

Day 2 was an all KL day. We went to Times Square and there's a nice themepark in there. The roller coaster in there looks so damn tempting but apparently i was the only one of the three tempted so we didn't go in the end. Shopping there was boring as there's nothing much to buy. After that we took the Monorail and then LRT to central market and chinatown where they bought most of the stuff. I came back empty handed because i was on a very tight budget haha. In a pet shop at KL, we saw a very cute dog. His name is Fook Fook and he cost 3500RM...i wished i had the money to buy him haha. He looks like a small fat teddy bear on 4 legs haha, we took a photo of him..will post it up when Henry send it to me.

Day 3 was reserved for Sunway Lagoon. Sunway Lagoon is a nice place and it is reasonably big. But they didn't have many rides and within 2 hours we got bored. We took certain rides all over again and had a swim till 5.30pm. We then went to the Sunway shopping centre for our last shopping trip before going home. Sunway shopping centre is really big too and there are many more things to buy there than City Square. Train ride home was really comfortable because we got ourselves a bed. I slept throughout and here i am energetic and ready to go out again!

3 Extreme

Slept till around 1.30pm yesterday and went for my motorbike lesson. Its lesson 3 for me already which is the last lesson for class 2A. Lesson 3 is evaluation and they failed me...24 points...points for wobbling..not checking blind spot..wrong technique..forgetting to cancel signal...wth man. Next lesson will be this coming saturday..they better not fail me. Oh and i forgot to mention...i missed the test date of 28th Sept! I was too slow for that...it could have been a dream test date..passing just before i enter NS on the 29th...haii...the next test date will be 2nd Nov...hope i can take leave during bmt and make it.

After the lesson i went to play soccer with my church friends at Bishan Park. I finally got myself a new pair of soccer boots. Cost me $80...the cheapest Nike i can find in sportslink that looked pleasing enough for my eyes haha. I scored a hat-trick that day so i'm quite pleased haha.

Went home to rest before meeting Sam for a movie. We caught 3 Extreme. Didn't know it was R-21 till someone mentioned..i think it was henry or valencia. After watching it, i have to agree with the R-21 restriction. There were many many many bloody scenes and a few scenes of groaning, breasts, caressing etc.

There were 3 short stories in the movie. The first one Japanese followed by the Hong Kong one and then the Korean. The japanese one was about a girl who accidentally got her twin sister killed because of an act of jealousy. The show hardly made sense and i'm sure many of you will fall asleep here.



The Hong Kong one is about dumplings. Dumplings made from baby foetus. They believed that it can keep one young, pretty and attractive always. Mariam (above) is a former actress who is slowly losing her husband's love. She seek the help of the woman who makes the dumping. The woman got the foetus of a girl who was raped by her own father. Its hard to comprehend what happened at the end but the girl died after the abortion and the mum killed the father. And in the end Mariam used a stick to poke her vagina in the bathtub to kill her own baby when she was pregnant. Don't understand? Nvm.

The Korea one is argubly the best of the lot. An innovative storyline and also a very bloody one at that. No ghost no spirits no devil just a pyscho killer. Too bad you guys can't pay 1/3 of the price just to watch the korean one and will have to tahan the first 2 especially the Jap one just to get to here..definitely not worth. Don't catch it unless you're bored lah.

Got a real headache in the office today for quite some period...i wonder if it has anything to do with that carpark barrier or lack of sleep...hmmm

Shitty weekend? 50-50 lah

It was Sam's birthday yesterday. She stayed over at my place and left around afternoon wanting to go meet up with a guy that's renting me his Renault Scenic for the day. I've rent a car from him before and when he didn't turn up after us waiting there for half an hour, i was puzzled yet pissed. And one car park up down barrier shit had to make the day worse. When i was walking past it, i was messaging someone on my phone...then all of a suddenly "PANG"..that shitty thing hit my head. Sam was walking in front of me and i was just following her footsteps. I had to be so unlucky to be at that place at that time...it was quite painful. That shitty thing went up after hitting my head and went down again.

We then left for Balestier wanting to go for lunch. On the way there my phone rang, the car rental guy's brother called. That guy has supposingly been admitted to hospital that morning and that's why he didn't reply my messages, answer my calls or turn up.

We then went to Balestier's Loy Kee chicken rice store for lunch. That place is shitty. The chicken for 2 people was pathetic and more than half of it was bones. I then dropped her with her parents to go meet wayniest to buy her birthday gift. We then met up with puss at Sim Lim and we walked around for quite some time for a bargain and finally found one. I hope didn't get cheated lah. The camera is real slim and really handy. Its smaller than any of our wallets, i wanted to keep it for myself wahaha.

We then continued walking this time from bugis village then to suntec then back to sim lim again for my bike. Can you imagine the tiredness on our legs after that. We then went to Sam's auntie's house for her birthday, it was nice seeing everyone again. My gf had a nice birthday with no sabos or anything..just nice ang paos and presents haha.

After the birthday celebration we all went for a movie at Lido. The late night movies at Cine are all almost full house, but the ones at Lido are nearly empty. Anyway we caught The Terminal.



The show is alright, only that many of the scenes were exaggerated. But there were sure many hilarious scenes. And i didn't know the film was by Steven Spielberg...cool cool worth watching. Try not to miss it. Cheers you up.

AVP

Was so bored at home the whole afternoon yesterday. Was supposed to go clubbing at Shanghai Sally and i jio my marist friends...but one by one they are all getting busy. In the end only 1 or 2 were keen so i didn't go too.

I then managed to find cheap bird weijian to go out with me. Met him in town and we walked around. Walked from Pacific plaza to Cuppage plaza just to decide on a place for dinner haha. Finally settled for a small thai food koisk at Orchard Point...cost me $7.60 for a bowl of tom yam soup and a plate of rice...dammit..my carrot head got chop again. After dinner we met Puss at PS and cheap bird left shortly after because he was supposed to meet his friend for cycling. But after he left his friend messaged and said he couldn't make it hahaha...wassup with putting ppl's aeroplane nowadays..is it a new trend?

I then went to Great world city with puss to watch Alien vs Predator. Well...not a bad show...at least there's action. Predator is supposed to be God and is worshipped by humans in the past. Earth is like a pulau tekong to them...they used human to breed aliens so that their predator warriors could be trained to kill and to maintain their superiority. The show ended in such a way that a part 2 will certainly be filmed.



After the movie we went the the roadside hawker opposite centrepoint for supper. We soon left for home. The end.

Meh Meh

Meh Meh revealed his true colours today...i never thought what's behind that innocent chubby face is this.

Nick: "So what is your type of girl?"
Meh Meh: "Well...she must be open...willing to open..haha"

Nick: "Haha a 45 years old woman got whacked up by a 22 years old guy at the linkin park concert because she asked him to stop smoking."
Meh Meh: "Haha you can't ask somebody to stop smoking like that. Smoking is like sex...it both involves putting a stick into a hole."

HO! What the?! That's meh meh for you! I thought i was bad wahahaha..this is quite funny.

Anyone watched the school belle and hunk show on channel 8 just now? Stupid show with low standards! The girl winner sucks! So ugly! The other girl looks reasonably cute though. They tried to make the show looks as if they sprang a surprise on them but come on! We're not stupid! So damn obvious they planned everything beforehand... and badly too! The way they chose the winner really cannot make it...

OMG did anyone watch the army show on channel 8 just now? Army looks so damn fun! I think its gonna be a really fun and exciting adventure. Tekong looks nice and the army school looks like a country club! I think its going to be like Outward Bound School...can't wait can't wait!

WTF..Cat idol?

Its irritating living beside a primary school...especially a dodgy one. Was awaken early this morning at around 7+am by singings...awful singing. I can't remember what was the first song i heard in my dreamy mode...but shortly after..some boys were singings the national day song Home by Kit Chan. I mean what the...national day is like 3 weeks ago..what is Catholic High up to i asked myself.

I looked out the window and saw a stage with small boys performing. On the stage clearly states....CAT IDOL. WTF idol fever again. And what a song to choose for a singing competition...Home?

Haha anyway i watched on for awhile and witnessed many lousy smallboyband wannabes performances. Can't they let me have a nice good sleep. But you have to be impressed by their thick skins and guts. When i was their age i had stage fright...maybe even now too..but better abit. Moreover, they are embarrassing themselves in front of their friends, schoolmates and teachers. These embarrassing moments stay in our mind forever. Remember Singapore my home and kungfu fighting follow marists? LOL

Had dinner with Sam yesterday before going on to watch Bourne Supremacy yesterday. Was at the booth at 8.35pm but i bought the 9.30pm show haha...because i didn't see that there's an earlier show at 9pm. Anyway it's a very confusing show and if you don't concentrate you can get really lost. I wanna watch Alien vs Predator...who's game?

Monday!

Anyone read newpaper today? There's a new kind of danger for motorcyclists on the roads. Kites! A motorcyclist was actually cut by a kite string while travelling down ECP. The papers had a pic of a long cut across his chin. And there was a small report on motorcyclists being killed in Pakistan and Malaysia by kite strings. Hard to believe but real. Many of them were cut deep at the throat and killed...gross but real. Looks like full face helmets need to be protect our necks too.

My colleague bought Dim Sum for us today. One of my colleague Evelyn was offered a Ha Gao (Prawn dumpling) but she kindly declined. Out of the blue, one of my male colleagues suddenly said Eve cannot eat Ha Gao because she's old...eat too much will become Lao Gao. I might not have put it in a funny way but when my colleague said it...we all burst out laughing...luckily i didn't choke on my Ha Gao haha.

Saturday!

Enrolled for my Class 2A course online after 12 last night that's because that's when they allow me to enrol..exactly one year later. SSDC had sent me a letter asking me to take my lessons with them...want to die! Lucky my mum don't open my letters haha.

Had park my bike in my estate's carpark the night before and got another summon! Dammit how unlucky can i get..another $25...arGHH..

Okay so i went for my 1st lesson today..rode the super 4. It has been a long time since i rode a manual bike. Needed some getting used to. The riding position was also very different from my scooter...i had to lean forward and bend lower. But it sure was fast and the engine sounds fantastic.

I didn't expect to pass my lesson 1st time and i didn't. I wasn't very good at the figure 8 and crank course. But the instructor told me my weak point is the bumpy course. I need to ride through the bumps slowly and clock at least 8 secs...i had thought that i need to clear the bumps within 8 secs! Dammit...how blur can i get...thats why i failed the lesson...nvm i hope i can pass it on my 2nd try.

Music

Just finished watching Singapore Idol. Don't like the fact that the judges are trying too hard to Simon Cowell. Somehow Singapore Idol isn't as good as American Idol. The music isn't good and the singing isn't loud enough. There's no atmosphere on stage everything look dull..even the audience.

I guess the 3 to go into the next round are Olinda, David Teo and Jeassea...pretty obvious right? Haha don't flame me if i get it wrong though. I don't think i'm going to waste 50 cents calling or smsing to vote.

And i finally realised why Dwayne Tan look so familiar. He was one of the performer at Igors the night i went. I miss the performances and singing there..i think it's so much better than Singapore Idol..the money i paid was well spent. Pity Dwayne chose the wrong song..i think he's going out. But then they'll be 3 chosen contestants from each round right? And there's supposed to be a top 10..i think he'll be the trump card or something? Haha.

Do certain songs give you memories? Or even remind you of a place or person? For me, S Club 7's Have You Ever remind me of the days i take the bus to my former school Temasek Polytechnic. And PetShop Boy's Go West reminds me of Hougang South..known as Kovan now...haha don't ask me why. Oh one more...All 4-One's I swear reminds of of my holiday in Australia Brisbane when i was in primary 5! lol

The standard of music has become bad recently..is it because we download too much? Love smoothing love songs...but where to find new ones now...haii...

Rain rain go away

Had dinner at Sakura in Toa Payoh with my family and sam to celebrate her birthday early. The funny thing is i wasn't aware that the purpose of the dinner was for that. The food was alright...a large variety but not everything is nice lah. Had my share of sashimi..lost interest in raw oysters though.

After dinner sam, me and my family parted. Sam wanted to walk around and get some hair clips and hair net. I kept rushing her to go home because a downpour might be approaching, she dilly dallied but still couldn't get the stuff she wanted. On the way home...my worse fears came true. It started to rain. After i drop her off...it started raining cats and dogs. My visor got fogged and i can hardly see anything..but the worse thing is feeling all wet and heavy.

Anyway i was already wet so no point stopping somewhere to seek shelter right? And moreover i wanted to get home soon and i'm feeling tired. Along AMK ave 1 somewhere...the rain suddenly stopped. One side was pouring and the other side was dry. But by the time i've already become a souped chicken. My jeans were so heavy i can hardly walk properly haha. Stupid rain...ok now i want a car. I can take my class 2A this coming sat...woohoo!

My Weekend

Watched Collateral with Sam and my mum after dinner on friday. Well the show had an exciting end to it but its pretty ridiculous. Tom Cruise could still stand up, walk, shout and run even after being shot on the face. But i heard this show is based on a true story...really? Anyone knows?



Hmmm don't really have the mood to type more today. Might edit later if i suddenly have the mood.

The twins effect

Watched The twins effect yesterday with Sam, i have to mention that this is one of the lamest movie ever filmed. The whole show was about how this twin found her bf having an affair with her twin sister because the bf thinks that her sister was her. She started hating all men and when she managed to be queen of the country..she made women the more powerful sex and all men as slaves and toys.

Then comes Crouching tiger hidden dragon, a warrior whose duty is to protect Jackie chan's equally big nosed son because he is the one who can dethrone the evil queen. They then set out on their journey to find this excalibur which is supposed to be able to assist him in doing it. Its a super lame show..the evil queen even had one spell which make all men grow breasts when there's a full moon...haha how corny is that..hahahaha.

There were many stars starring as extras in the shows. But its a good show if u want to see some babes...many of them were hot..including the evil queen wahaha. Conclusion...don't watch it unless your mummy, daddy, gf, bf, friends or dog dump you and leave u alone to bore to death. Its the type of comedy that makes you laugh at their stupidness rather than the jokes.



Anyway, i want to mention meh meh again. Bloody fatty make me lose money yesterday. I had already decided to go home and not bet yesterday but he had to drag me the spools and as usual i couldn't give in to temptations and i lost money in the end. Fate

Work

I got this job through a marist friend of mine fishy..he has since left the job because he's flying off to the states soon for studies. Ever since i've started work here..i've been betting non-stop lol.

Here i got to know another guy..also a temp..also a graduate from poly. We call him Meh meh..or rather he named himself that..reason why he tried explaining but i just don't get it lol. Anyway he's rather pityful...he's always being aimed by the staff there. Since the start of work here, he has been given black faces and lousy work by fellow colleagues in his department. Just today while signing our time sheet...his boss told him that one female colleague has told him that he has been coming in late for work...9.30am..when we're supposed to start work at 9am. And of course he had to take away half an hour away from his OT which means $5+.

The weird thing is fishy has been working here for so long and coming in late so often and yet no one paotoh him. Colleagues can even joke and laugh with fishy but not meh meh. And meh meh isn't exactly a bad guy you know..he talks to everybody and is a chubby blur guy haha. Only thing is half the time i don't understand what he's trying to say. Anyway 90% of the staff come in late..including myself of course and no one says anything..he had to be the unlucky one haha.

During lunch time today, it was raining...so we decided to take a shelter way out of the building. We ended up at one exit door we thought we could use. I pushed it and goddammit the security alarm started to ring..it rang so loud everyone around the building started staring at us. I was so embarrassed but also partly amused. The stupid old malay security guard had to give me a nagging and took down my ic number..anyway nothing happened...but it sure gave me a shock for awhile.

This job is fine...the work is easy and not tiring. I even get to chat and surf the net quite often. This is one job i don't dread going to early in the morning...time passes quickly there and i'm glad for that. Can't say the same for meh meh though..that poor sheep...all he does is filing and sorting huge stacks of documents throughout..i pity him. If you read this fatty cheer up k..tahan 1 more mth..i'm with u ;)

New singapore

Reached home at 7.50pm yesterday...switched on the tv expecting to watch some channel 8 drama...but turned out they were showing the handover ceremony live. Alright how about channel 5...same shit..central? same shit..CNA? same shit..channel U? same shit..I? Same shit..there's nothing to watch other than that. Okok its a big thing..once at least every 10 years...but its boring..and the president is nothing but an accountant and puppet. His whole speech was on how Mr Lee chose istana for the ceremony..Mr Lee this Mr Lee that..haha..that shows his power. (Oh no will i go to jail for this?)

National day and post national day activities?

Met up with my marist friends jackie, teck and barthez on national day night in town to chit chat and slack. I had a chicken cutlet and we all shared an earthquake at swensens haha. That was actually how i spent my public holiday...played a little bit of soccer in the morning with church friends though.

Just yesterday i met up with more marist friends again. This time horse, jackie, fishy, bear and gf. We had dinner at the new food street beside specialist centre. They don't serve food there...you have to queue for it yourself..we played open numbers and i was the lucky one in charged of looking after the table. The food there was alright..not exactly special...don't bother queuing if the queue's too long or if you're famished.

While walking at cineleisure..i saw 4 of my colleagues..looks like this is a popular hangout place for Hitachi staff.

Just woman just called me just now on my handphone saying i won some consolation prize by signing some form at a supermarket..the thing is..i've done no such thing. The prize consists of an italian watch worth $100+ and 8 days 7 nights stay at Thailand..i think its crap. And fan told me the newspaper actually reported and warned the public of such scams...im thinking if i should go down..if its not a scam then how..haha.
